This was our first experience building a home and overall, we are happy with our home and believe Pulte built us a solid home. But, the devil is in the details. From the day the foundation was dug to actual closing, our estimated closing date was delayed 6 weeks. Pulte did their best to prepare us for this inevitability because of the current conditions on materials and trades, but it was still extremely frustrating. Building progress was slow with a lot of stops and starts due to supply issues, labor shortages, etc. This was not the builder's fault. Overall workmanship of the contractors was fair to decent - I felt the workmanship and materials could have been better.

Stay on top of them. Promises at times fall short, then it is dropped into the warranty department to address items that should have been completed the first time. Do a thorough walk through. Take your time. Recommend pushing for an escrow if item are not correct prior to closing.

We appreciate that we were able to move into our new house; however, many items were not completed upon closing. The builder has not been responsive to the work promised, and now we have to go through the warranty process. Lastly, the builder did not include the option of purchasing a refrigerator.

Communication is key in the new construction process. Unforeseen delays, setbacks, mistakes, and misinformation hamper the relationship between buyer and builder. Weekly email updates, a phone call when there's a problem, and a communication assistant supporting everyone would help build trust in the product and the professionals responsible for delivering.

It has been less than a month since we moved into our new home. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality as of today, but we have also found defects in the windows and doors which are security issues as well as energy consumption issues for us. We have yet to hear from the window and screen people although we already mentioned the defects. We plan to submit another request for repairs as soon as we gather a list of items that need repairing.

The sales part of the purchase was incredibly smooth. All the paperwork was taken care of in a timely manner, and the staff at the design center was very attentive and helpful. The construction aspect was not so great. Trying to get anyone's attention regarding build issues or repairs has been difficult; this remained true after closing. Either we get a very delayed response, or no response at all to emails, calls or texts. We're still trying to get help with problems that we pointed out during construction. Sales and Title experiences were very good. Building and maintenance management were below expectation. To my surprise the maintenance personnel does not even greet customer (me) when meeting; this was a first. Inflexibility seemed to be a norm. Making promises and not keeping them also seems to be a norn. This was the 3rd Pulte home we purchased. The good experiences with the other two prompted us to go with Pulte. But this management does not compare.

Overall satisfied. Good floor plan with experienced workmanship. Especially, the construction manager, Stefano, was really kind and helpful. One thing I did not like was the completion of our house was delayed for 1-2 month from what it was originally scheduled. Other than that I am satisfied except for some low quality material used that will cost me to upgrade.

This was my first experience building from ground up and during the start of the process I felt rushed or pushed into signing without going through all the features and options the house had. I now wish some of the features I should of picked. After living in the house for a month now, I am noticing some unfinished worked...unpainted walls, poor worksmanship cover ups, little things here and there. I do enjoy my house and don't know if I can every buy another house that has been pre-owned.

Our experience included a lot of ups and downs. We understand lack of craftsmen and loss of personnel had a lot to do with our experience. Responsiveness from our salesman after we signed the purchase agreement was pretty bad. We only received great response time when he needed something signed. Our new building manager and director were awesome, but there are still some items in our home that require attention.
