I purchased my home remotely and visited for the scheduled inspections. In between visits updates from the crew were few and far between. Many times I had to reach out multiple times before receiving a response. Now that I live on the property, the warranty service is even worse. I have had issues with my condo since closing day that have still yet to be resolved two months later. The team doesn't believe me when I report issues and doesn't schedule the teams to fix it until they stop by which can sometimes take weeks. COVID challenges all of us.

I appreciated the step by step process by construction and leading up to closing, but then once I closed it was all different. My dishwasher was installed wrong and caused major water damage. This resulted in my hardwoods being removed and replaced during my first week (the very next day I closed). I couldn’t properly move in and access my kitchen for days. There were many issues with how the home was completed with an overall “sloppy” completion. Even when workers were sent back out they did not fix it properly and had to come out again and again. I still have unresolved issues. I have to keep asking and follow up on unfinished work and do not feel that I got what I paid for when I closed. The communication is weak and quality of the finished product is disappointing. As a first time homeowner, I walked into a mess and was completely unhappy my first week when it should have been a happy first week. Now a month into my first home, I’m still trying to get concerns addressed and my home finished. For example, I paid for screens on my siding doors and they never were installed. That’s a month without them while they were paid for and I had to point this out to Pulte myself. Sprinklers were not installed correctly and in the wrong position and I’m still waiting on this repair and cannot use them until they are fixed. Scratches and stain on my kitchen counters. Bath tub dented and scratched. The list continues. Pulte keeps telling me to wait or that they are working on it, but I lost trust in the process. I have to be the consistent reminder and stay on top of every detail. Overall, I am having to take time out of my work schedule to schedule repairs that should have been addressed during inspections. Everything in our home was done really cheaply cabinets installation ,kitchen island !! (0,5 inch gaps on both sides terrible job! .For the price of the the development craftsmanship is terrible , walls are crooked;anything in the condo was done cheaply and without the second thought (design and placement of electrical outlets are terrible!!) Steps are not wood but some kind of wood chips mix ?) and not really safe -they are moving under foot( they are not aligned ( basement and garage)and really menace to safety! Windows are not working properly.Construction manager is trying his best to help! he is real professional (but It's little too late to fix that project)View is great for sure! ... More

It was difficult deciding what title to give this review. Not for a lack of options, but because we had a hard time identifying which horrible detail stood out to us the most. The initial sales agent was wonderful but that's as far as it went. From that point onward, it was nothing but deceit, issues, and overall shoddy workmanship. There was little to no communication and no follow through. My wife was discriminated against in not being included in communications nor were any decisions directed toward her. The quality of materials used in the construction were that of defective remnants that you would find at some discount outlet. No one seemed to know what was going on or how to do their job. The foremen spent more time in their trailers (if present at all) than walking the houses to oversee the jobs and quality. When we brought attention to the terrible quality and deplorable workmanship, we were told that, "this is standard" and we have to accept it. To what horrible standard is Pulte building my house? It looks like a child built it. We were also told that workmanship is suffering because of the labor shortage due to the pandemic. Why is it our problem that Pulte/TrustBuilders can't hire, or is too cheap to hire, people who know what they're doing? The whole reason we bought new-construction is because we didn't want a home we had to refurbish. In the end, it didn't matter because we have to do just as much work on this house to fix everything Pulte failed at delivering. Even working with Pulte's warranty department, they are taking cheap shortcuts and sub-par contractors instead of doing the job right. Danny, Nick and the Executive team did a great job in a very difficult market! Not everything went perfectly but Pulte stood behind their commitment to make it an awesome experience! We love our new home in Independence at Carters Station. As a bonus, the neighbors are the best!!

I had a great experience through the home buying process, however after closing the experience left much to be desired. None of the walk through items were completed prior to closing. I had to drive through a snowstorm to get to closing as they did not move, only to get to a dirty house with none of the punch list items completed. It has also been a bumpy process getting things done on the punch list and for new pop up items. Most of the people I deal with are great, it's the processes in place that don't seem geared towards the home owner. It's like once you sign on the dotted line the great customer service ends. ... Seems like a good product but don’t close without everything accomplished.

Overall Construction Quality is great. Quality of clean up of finish product is not good. The floor of my shower was stained with rust and heavy duty construction caulking that was not attended to and has been impossible to remove. Same kind of stain 6" x 2" on one of my wood flooring in a main area of my dining area. I was assured that it was no big deal and could be removed. I had electrical issues " tripping breakers" to my refrigerator that were repaired 10 days after moving in. I'm still having irrigation issues "leaking water and sink hole " that have been repaired once already still on going. Still waiting for other repair. It usually takes a week for anyone to respond to repair emails. ... More

Don't go with them, Very Bad experience

Building quality not bad, quick response to requests

We bought our house about 2 months ago and had excellent experience from the sales person there. However we experienced major issues with the builder and construction team. We closed on a house that still had items that were unfinished and were promised that they would be taken care off the day that we would close. Not only those items were NOT done as promised, but it took us 2 month of calling and emailing the construction team daily/ weekly without any response. The whole situation was very frustrating as we had were getting no response from Pulte construction management. We had to put our food down to get our house done on the items that were still unpainted, damaged bathroom frame etc. Overall it was a very difficult and exhausting experience!!! ... More

We had a very pleasant experience with Pulte. My husband and I are newly weds and first time home buyers so we were apprehensive in the whole process. Mary, our salesperson was very patient and responsive with all our questions and reservations on certain things. We also thought the support staff including the design team. We were also very happy with our field property manager who also walked us through the process and gave us very good pointers and answered our questions.

Worst experience, poor quality.

From our initial meeting with Devin in sales, to our interactions with Dan & Steve our Construction Managers we always felt in the loop. Then when we moved in and had a few issues, our Customer Service Rep Kristi has been on top of every repair/fix we’ve submitted a claim on. An overall A+ experience!

I find myself keeping a spreadsheet for warranty repairs, chasing when repair people don’t show, and am now sending a weekly update on what is outstanding, not scheduled, etc. I already have a full time job and don’t really need more work honestly. Accountability or your partners is critical and accountability of Pulte to manage the repairs to be done. I should not have to chase these on a daily basis between my own conference calls for work. We are home everyday working and schedule our work around folks coming and the rate of showing up is 25% then I have to chase it myself.

Pulte is a high quality home builder who keeps you informed and has great warranties surrounding their products.
