I would love to give PULTE 5stars but, we had a few situations that occurred, but later much later corrected. I would not advocate building a home remotely.

It was a great experience buying our house with Pulte. We had some issues, but talking with some friends that bought houses with other builders We notice that we had fewer problems and less important problems. We recommend Pulte as a builder.

Not happy with the quality of the plants Pulte planted in our yard.One section no plants,Some of the plants died within the first month in our home!

Have found lots of paint spots on tile floors and carpet. Painters need to work cleaner especially in a finished house. Also we were told professional cleaners would get house spotless. They need to look for this type of stuff new home owners shouldn't have to do this.

Just a few comments.....first, this will be the 4th survey or comment I have forwarded and I have yet the hear from anyone regarding my comments !! Perhaps that is SOP...not sure. During the walk-thru I asked if I needed to check the appliances... the answer was no they were checked. Well the first time I ran the dishwasher, which frankly was only last week, I learned the water shut off was in the "off" position. Apparently it was not checked. Someone was to come out today 6/24; however no one did or called to say why. The hood over the range needs some work, and have been asked to get the model number. There is no model number on it and in fact doesn't even state it is a whirlpool unit. They were supposed to come today, but did not since they didn't have the model ... 2 screws are missing, the hood is sagging and piece is loose. Why a model number is needed to make such a repair is beyond me !! The kitchen sink has stains which cannot be removed, one has been ordered and I am awaiting a replacement date. .... pulte made it an easy process and was there to help and answer questions throughout the process

Buying and moving-in experience was fine, however quality of work sometimes is questionable as many small issues and nuances were found upon moving in. It didn't look like contractors and the builder cared much about it as long as the house was accepted by new owners. Noise isolation between units is poor, can easily hear your neighbors talking. My main problem is that inside all mobiles phones loose signal. Tested with all major mobiles carriers - signal outside 4-5 bar stable, but once you get inside, the signal drops to zero. Something is interfering with the signal inside the house, but what? I would really like Pulte to look into it as this is a major problem. ... More

Good just need a little more communication

I brought up a concern that my inspector had to the PM and he said it was not a concern. Well it turned into a leak and mold issue. Had he been present during the actual inspection I think my inspector and him would have resolved this issue. Or in the very least when I met with him a few days later not been so dismissive of everything the inspector mentioned to me. The crazy thing is when the HVAC guys showed to fix the leak, they said they informed Pulte of the same issue that my inspector mentioned, a few months back when they were on sight before I closed on the home. The team that I dealt with once the mold was present from Pulte were different people and I felt taken care of. However, having a kid with severe allergies I can't help but think that my home still has mold in it when it ALLLLL could have been prevented. ... More

The builder did an excellent job to keep the timeline.

I think the home is very nice. I have noticed some little things, but most of the work looks like quality work!

During the construction of our home, we heard a lot about Pulte quality. Within the first two months of living in our home, we have had to repair the oven and the air conditioning. I am not sure that the quality is quite up to the discussion it is given.

Had some unique issues to start before moving into the new house, but pulte apologized and made good on those problems. We love our home and feel we made the right decision moving here.

Less than a month after purchased our home, we ran into a low voltage electrical problem which caused malfunctioning of our built in oven and A/C. It caused us great inconvenience and worries. Kirk responded to our issues accordingly and helped to fix it.

Love my new home!

I would say the overall quality & service is good, although it's not as perfect as themselves claimed. My new house has a broken hole on the drywall on a not so noticeable corner, and one of my bathroom blinds as a part of the paid package, is askew severely. For the hole, I personally didn't find it during the "house quality celebration" before close, and for the blinds, they installed a portion of them after "house quality celebration", which makes me have to go through customer service and wait for some extra time. Except for a rush close, I would say they're overall good, I got timely responses from customer service(although due to CVOID-19, it may take longer). Pulte's people are quite nice and willing to help answer questions I have. People also help introduce my new house very clearly, and the overall value for the price paid is also not bad. ... More

Very nice location and home

Nice house

My husband and I are beyond thrilled to be living in our new home. Unfortunately the world changed due to Covid-19 and that put everyone in a grey area full of unknown circumstances. The main focus was everyone staying safe and healthy (as well as it should be). However once in our home there were unforeseen issues that could not be addressed due to the quarantine. The construction team were prompt with their responses on what they could do but it wasn’t much they could. Construction has since resumed and we were excited to get our final construction items “wrapped up” only to receive a letter explaining that we wouldn’t get our lawn, sidewalks or driveway completed no later than the end of July 2020. We understand that there is so much that goes on that we are never aware of but this is by far the most frustrating. We have daughters who can’t play with friends and are still quarantined but can’t play on the lawn outside and are growing tired of staying in. Again I’m sure this was not an easy choice for Pulte but rather a series of tough calls to make. I do hope everyone and their families are safe and healthy. My husband and I also want to mention that the design process was a bit difficult and we feel that a visual representation would help out significantly. It felt as we were relying on the interior designers knowledge as opposed to actually seeing a depiction of OUR design choices. The designer was great, patient and calm and we enjoyed her expertise but we feel it would’ve saved time for both parties and helped us figure out where to splurge and what to “cut corners on”. We are happy with our home. Quality and workmanship as good as any home I have built in past. Value is comparable to the area. Time will tell but so far so good.

The home itself and the sales person are fine, The title company was rude and unresponsive. The follow up on punch list items is hampered by covid so not fair to rate.I did find Pulte very inflexible with regard to final walk through which cost us a lot of money and time.

I didn’t really want to move here. I had lived in Carrollton for over forty years and many of my friends are there, but family concerns took precedent...the house of fine. It’s built like a tank, but the garage is ridiculously small. That’s my only beef...everything else is fine. The neighborhood is cool.

Be prepared for construction issues.

Beware you can get decision fatigue from all the choices you have to make when you design a home from scratch. At one point we said yes to a shower head upgrade that Pulte charged $1,700 for and we later found on Amazon for $149. When we pointed that out, they were unwilling to make an adjustment. Otherwise, the buying experience was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our move in has been postponed indefinitely because of the corona pandemic, so we can't speak to how livable the house is just yet.

My home is very nice and seems to be well constructed. I did not go with Pulte mortgage or homeowners insurance; therefore, that was slow process.
