Quality of the home has been great and every Pulte employee has exceeded our expectations!

The homebuying process was smooth but there were some pricing issues that could have been adjusted to ensure a happier customer in the negotiating process. The entire build process was very long (not the normal 6 to 8 months at all) Delays such as permitting, issues with shortages of supplies and staffing concerns due to Covid were a big part of hold up. Despite the long wait I am truly happy with the end result and I am totally in love with my home. Still some issues to be addressed and fixed but so far they are handing these issues very well by assigning a manager to deal with all the post build issues. The quality of certain things such as cabinets could be better especially for the cost of these homes. Great new home buying experience

The building process was great, always in communication with building manager, Carl was quick to respond to any questions and would send pictures because we weren’t able to be around for the different stages. My only issues have been after we moved in. We paid for A smart home however door locks were not installed and Company told us Pulte was responsible for installing them. We closed on the house most two months ago and I still have no smart locks. We’ve had roof shingles come off the house twice in the last month and a screen door that still has not been fixed, which is not fixed by Pulte but one of there contractors. You don't get a lot of time for making your choices and they are somewhat limited but we are very happy with the design decisions we made. They handled the current supply issues very well and kept us generally ontime.

Jenny is the best! She was extremely reliable, trustworthy and great at communicating with us. If you needed anything, Jenny stepped up and got it done!

Up front, professional but friendly, every question or issue was handled usually same day. I can't say enough how much I love my home! Having a construction manager in contact with me every week with pictures of the progress was a delight for me. I highly recommend Pulte Homes.

This is my second Pulte Home in 17 years. Unfortunately, this new home did not meet our expectations in quality workmanship. From the sparse front landscaping to drywall repairs and tile mess-ups it has been frustrating. Due to the company rushing the closing before the houses are done is an experience that all homeowners are faced with in this community! At walk throughs with Superintendent things are not completed at all and this should not be. I have waited over 2 months for a tile repair. I have waited for over 2 months for a drywall ceiling patch job that looks terrible. Windows on the house are scratched by the cleaners and have weep holes plugged with stucco AFTER the house closed! This because the windows were filthy at walk through and still not done when we moved in! The kitchen sink that we paid over $500 extra for does not drain properly and food sits in corners. We can see light through the front door and door from garage has a lock that binds. All of these things and just a lack of attention to detail that frustrates the buyer. We live in a construction zone with many houses being rushed. In 2 months the roads have never been cleaned. Nails, trash, dirt are everywhere. Every morning trash has piled up on my porch and in the rock landscaping. The workers park on our rocks and thus, we lose the rock landscaping into the street. This is just nuts when buying half a million dollar + homes! I am sorry Pulte, but your mortgage company caused us undo hardship and over $900 in expenses also. When I complained I never got my money back! You see they told us to come to another state that our house was ready to be signed for, when in fact there was no clearance from VA ...so they said. House was not done. After waiting in a hotel room for days we ended up having to go back home with no house signing! $900 in hotel expenses and NO ONE CARED! THEN WE FOUND OUT FROM VA THAT THERE WAS A CLEARANCE LETTER IN OUR FILE THE WHOLE TIME! THERE WAS MORE TO THE TERRIBLE STORY, BUT I WILL NOT DISCLOSE IT HERE. ... More

It is my first experience with a house, time will tell how good the construction is

The house its build with cheap materials and there is no engineer building your house, the people who build it they dont know how to read drawings at all. Turns to be that your Libe of property its different because when they install the sod and sprinklers they installed all wrong., you dont want to close until they finish your house right but they force you to do it or they will sell your house to another person, they only want your Money. On top of that, they are selling the house way more expensive that the market value, so when you get the appraisal the house isn’t that worht it and you have to put more money down. I will never get a Pulte Homes again, their warranty department its even worse, its a total Joke! ... More

Pulte Homes is my first home buying experience, so I do not have much to work off of, but I think that it was a good experience. The quality is decent overall, but for the price of this place, it is amazing.

The quality of house is ok. Have found floor not fixed properly, doors are not closing properly, water stagnation in the yard etc...

Advertisement shows units available and cost in the middle 200k, reality was there we no home available within two months and the cost was a 100k more than advertised

After closing the house, it was made in such a hurry that everything was messed, and I had to placed multiple work orders to make it happen in order to move in.

This home buying experience was worth the wait. Art walked us through the entire building process and kept us well informed by sending us weekly updates and pictures. It’s like watching our precious baby grow. Every questions we had was answered and thoroughly explained. We felt at ease with the quality of the building materials because Art made sure quality assurance inspection was conducted after each phase. We love the fact that we were invited to inspect the quality ourselves prior to the builders sealing the walls with drywalls and stucco. Excellent experience when I received my house by Matt.

During this time of shortages of material and labor Pulte was able to get our home built- just later than expected. We had 4 projected closing dates. It seemed that the focus was on getting the building done more than on the home buyers at some points. When we closed there were some issues and the important one was addressed but some of the other items are still waiting attention. We do like the design and basic quality of our house and would buy from Pulte in the future

Great Sales person who was there throughout the process. Fantastic Project Manager who kept us informed and quickly resolved issues. Great end product (Home!)

Quality of work was not what I expected

The salesman was very helpful and informative. The home had cement siding standard vs. vinyl. This spoke quality to us. The field manager is knowledgeable, has been accessible and cares.

My wife and I are first time homeowners. Understandably, we were very nervous about the purchase and the new construction process. Jose, Jason and Luke went above and beyond to ensure that we were informed every step of the way. Most importantly, they made us feel comfortable with out decision. I would highly recommend engaging either or all of them in your own home purchase!

DONT BUY A HOME HERE

Prepare to be "sold" on the model homes they show you. Unfortunately, almost nothing resembles the quality of the model. Poor worksmanship plagues this company leading to constant warranty requests. Items that were listed on the documentation at closing will NEVER get done so be prepared to delay closing. During the building process, their management team is absent, has no idea what is going on, and will not work with the buyer, regardless of the reasonable offers to help with moving the build forward. They will then "force" you to close with many outstanding items because they only care about bonuses/commissions. Your project manager will be great and the only one to help you, but because of their extremely poor management, there's only so much they can do. ... More

Unfortunately having a home built at this time is a challenge. Trades have not been consistent with following up. We still have not had our termite barrier done after more than a month. There are still red tape marks in and around the house. We found our microwave does not work properly after being in this house less than a month and we have to wait for a service to come and decide to fix or replace it. The MBR is designed so you can see all the way into the master bath from the front door even if the MBR door is slightly open. The water in the kitchen sink takes a long time to get warm water nor does it get hot. We were not allowed to choose our own front landscaping and the list given were not planted. Pulte met their deadlines, we’re helpful and patient in my dealings with them. Some of the outside work appeared a little sloppy and hurried. They responded to my concerns quickly. From start to finish they helped me navigate the daunting task of purchasing a new home for the first time by myself.
