Our home buying closing was remote from the State of Washington. The actual closing went smoothly. The issues we have addressed have not been responded to our satisfaction. We have gutters that totally leak and overflow when it rains. The toilet in our master bedroom does not operate properly. Molding in the master bedroom shower is missing. The garage door is not properly installed and constantly rattles from the wind. There is tape on the patio door that needs to be removed. Be sure that you know what you’re going to get for your final product. Our home was to include a two car garage. Due to poor grading of the lot, extra stairs were needed to get into the house through the garage. And therefore two cars do not fit in our garage. And Pulte is not willing to compensate us for the loss of value for our home.

Appliamce s are look like the lowest price ones and cqbinet drawrrs are falling out because they used wrong size od screws used. Third time and seems like it will keep happening until all replaced by longer screw sized.

Mortgage team stretched the time unnecessarily, they were keep on asking the same documents multiple times. The hand over/construction manager team doesn’t fix the items properly as they promised, the issues are still existing. The sales team Ms Sara is the best employee and she was 100% supportive. No one visited to hear back on open issues since the closing.

We just built a home through Pulte in Estero Florida. We went with Pulte because it was either them or Lenar in our HOA. I think the process went very well but certain things that we have experienced recently are the reasons for the mixed review. So let me start here: Positives- Our PM that over saw the build was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Our sales rep, was fantastic. Check out your landscape.and irrigation very poor workmanship. Sprinklers set to run extremely long. My first water bill is over $350. The cleaning crew did a very poor job of cleaning up the place. All the floors were dirty and some of the tile still have glue on them hard to remove. Overall the potention is here for a good home, quality of workmanship need to be observed and corrected before delivery to customer, The staff is nice.

Pulte does a great job at selling a home, but that’s where the experience seems to end. With countless issues and no response in repair or communication, Pulte seemingly only works on the front end. Quality is not a high priority and neither is fixing quality issues. They were responsive in the selling/buying process, but once it’s sold they go MIA. We were also having a fence put in and a contractor did damage to our yard. When confronted about paying more to the defending company to fix it, the construction manager told us to find a new fencing company instead because f fixing the problem. ...

Sales and contractor as well as design studio is not sync in between. So lot of communication gap. Material used for build this home is not as expected, lot of material things are not finished in our home. No proper finishing of base board paint grout and door handles. Our first floor is totally vibrating a lot when walking slowly. Our floor is EVP still we fill when we walk it is not properly installed.

It’s been almost a month since we moved in to our new built home by Pulte, tons of issues, electrical, missing finishes, poor quality and issues never resolved after multiple inquires during build. Pulte hires sub-contractors where Quality work is never checked by Pulte construction manager, tons of things were overseeing and not completed, found many problems after living almost a month. Breakers kept tripping, missing light fixtures, holes on under eaves the size that birds could a home inside attic, walls not straight, too many to list

Love my place, especially location. Was told while originally looking how they use high quality products and make sure everything is installed to perfection. I have paint splatters on my counter tops and floor that was never cleaned up before closing. My floor is starting to lift in places and I only moved in a couple weeks ago. The title company was unprofessional and not good at replying to questions or informing me of steps. The constructions managers, especially Paul and Bryan were amazing!

All in all the experience was good. This is a second, eventual retirement snowbird home. The communication was ok but I did not push. Closed in June and will not return to the home until this winter. The design and layout of the home is quite nice and met our needs. The quality of workmanship however, is lacking. Numerous issues with paint errors, paint spatters on floors, walls crooked, baseboard trim joints poorly finished, and several other issues. Light fixtures in floor plans that are not where they should be. Electrical appliances with damage, upgraded features like recessed light fixtures and kitchen cabinets are really just "builder grade" quality.

My advise is make sure the entire home is ready prior to moving in. We had multiple things which were not correct and moved on believing they would be fixed quickly, but we are still waiting for some things to be corrected on the house. We have had electrical issues HVAC issues. They have corrected what is wrong, but in my opinion don't move in until everything is complete. Also be comfortable living in a construction zone.
