During the home buying and building phase of the process, Ana and Trevor were outstanding. They provided timely updates and even answered my questions when they were not working. Unfortunately Pulte post build process and customer service as been sub-par. I’ve been in my home for just over 30 days and there are lots of issues. My water heater circuit breaker constantly trips even after the plumber and electrician have inspected it. On move in day, I couldn’t lock my front door. The floor in the upstairs hallway squeaks already. My AC unit won’t cool upstairs but downstairs it’s freezing. Thermostat read 72 when it set for 76. I have open tickets with the warranty department and still waiting resolutions. I expected higher standards from Pulte and overall I think it’s a good company. ... More

The quality of work is poor. I have been waiting for a month the get cabinets doors replaced that were miss drilled when the handles were installed and they tried to fill the holes with caulk. One pantry door also broke the first day we moved in and we are still waiting on the to be replaced as well. We also had to have our main sewer line replaced due to a brick being dropped into it. The quality of work from the trades is poor at best.

Several outstanding items during closing were not taken care of. Paint splatter everywhere, chunks of caulking on base boards that were painted over. Missed caulking areas. Even the homes to both sides of us still had blue tape on them after closing. Do not buy from here if you are looking for quality.

We've bought his house based on its location and the fact that it is a new construction. Design of house is fine, used every inches of the space to be useful and functional. We have problems with workmanship and quality control of the builder after their contractors finished the work. We've had so many electrical problems and still finding out more each week. Most of all, our house is literally next to the road. The noise we have in bedrooms are terrible. When we've met with project managers, he was showing how the noises are greatly reduced in their homes with special windows in model homes. They failed to mention that our home "didn't qualify" to have those windows until we've moved in and noticed the such. Pulte informs me that those windows were only for the few homes on Brock road. The road next us "doesn't have much traffic or high speed limit". It is so loud and feels like sleeping on the sidewalk at times. You've thought that over .1.3 million dollar home would get you a quiet home. We have a middle and high school children and we are worried that they can't focus or get restful sleep due to the noise from the street. It will definitely affect on their academic and athletic performances. We've spoken to other home owners in the neighborhood and they all have similar issues as well. Also I am still waiting on a simple part for my AC unit to reduce the noise. Pulte home warranty service provides pretty good job with responding to the issues. But why does't Pulte build a better quality homes in the beginning and do the less warranty services? ... More

My wife and I have purchased two homes with Pulte about 4 years apart. The first experience with Pulte was excellent the second experience was not so great. The customer service seems to have dwindled over the years. We have had several issues with the home and trying to resolve them have been a challenge. I am not un reasonable person however I expect major issues to be resolved timely and correctly. I would say I have a very difficult time getting ahold of the right person to discuss issues or have a concern addressed. Good quality material but no ownership of project manager or there bosses all they want is close house and show number’s. Hope they fix this soon.

Overall we’re happy with our home. The process ended up taking 4 months longer than they told us it would when we signed the contract but it was during the Covid supply chain period so I’m guessing most of it was out of their control. They were good about providing updates along the way and being responsive. When it came time to close, as with most new builds I think, there were quite a few things that weren’t up to par. We made the mistake of closing anyway instead of forcing them to fix them first and now we’re 6 weeks into being here and most things still haven’t been fixed. Our AC didn’t work for the first week we lived here (and we have an infant and live in Florida). The master shower doors didn’t line up or have a seal at the bottom so water just flowed onto the floor. Some cabinets in our upgraded kitchen still had raw, unfinished edges. One cabinet had a hole in the front where a screw had gone too far. A lot of stuff like that. And then there were 25 other minor things on top of that. Overall we’re happy with the home but not thrilled about the condition it was delivered to us on closing. ... More

The 2 things were touching up the baseboards & leveling the pavers on our patio as promised in our initial walk through. Baseboards are still not done & the supervisor of the pavers looked @ the patio & stated it was so everything had to be re-done. They came out removed all the pavers then replaced them back the exact same way. A J at this time has told the work is acceptable even though it just as bad as it was to start with....not with Pulte Homes

Workmanship is not good and fixing problems after closing is very difficult

Our sales associate was great at communicating. Very responsive. There was some miscommunication at end with the price we thought we had negotiated and what we needed up paying- so that gave us pause

Pulte sales team was great and got us set up fast and efficiently. Our construction manager was attentive during the construction phase but after it was a challenge to keep on them to finish the necessary work after closing. The build quality is passable but often find it wasn't done with any level of craftsmanship. Landscaping left much to be desired. Sod placed in the dead of winter has died and have been trying to wait for a reply. The sod dying and not taking is leading to some soil erosion and grading issues. I hope they respond soon to resolve this issue.

Overall we like our home but numerous problems exist. Most are the result of careless mistakes that now require things to be redone and may be difficult to fix satisfactory.Wish more attention/oversight was given during the building process.

Overall it was good. Teresa was great to work with in sales, Really listened to what you were looking for and what your range was. Also gave great ideas to your future home.

There is way too much to share, but the bottom line is that the sales process went well, but not the finishing the construction's final touches. The last finishing touches, such as fixing things that are not done right or incomplete has been a frustrating slow process. Ranging from bad solutions to no (or slow) response. Even 60 days after closing we are still chasing resolution. This is true for us and other homeowners on our new street. Pulte's operations can't seem to get the 'last mile' of the journey completed. Very disappointing.

Paint, texture, floors. Cabinets, tile. You name it! We are going to have to warranty so many items! Everything has a “short cut”. Flooring. You name it.

Would not recommend. Poor response time to issues. Quality is terrible for the price of homes.

My home was not ready for closing. There were too many items that needed to be repaired redone or fixed. Now it’s a slow and difficult process dealing with the home warranty and vendors entering my home for things that should have been complete before the closing.

Expecting a few things to be fixed when we come closer to 1 year warranty.

Still having issues needing follow up. However, overall experiences where fair. Exp. Rusty on refrigerator door, two different vanity doors, window screen not sized properly, etc.

They don’t care customers after closing. Make sure to get things done before sale.

Everything was great until we filled out our 5 star reviews that they all begged for. After that, everything takes a turn because nobody cares anymore. They got their good review and now it doesn’t matter - maybe a public review will spark some initiative. We moved into our new home 12/08 and discovered a leaking valve on a toilet 12/21. Construction manager wanted to fix it but because of “liability” gets told he isn’t allowed, and we need to contact customer service. We have been contacting customer service off and on with empty promises and zero follow through since then. The plumber called once and rudely says, “I’ll be there in 30 minutes” when neither of us are home and we were not given ANY heads up to expect him. Now they tell me they have no appointments until the 10th. So, they want me to deal with an unusable bathroom for 3 weeks?!!! Beyond that, Morgan at “customer service” is one of the rudest, worst customer experience reps I’ve ever talked to. I would fire my employees if they ever spoke to one of my clients the way she spoke to me. No empathy, no sincerity and just a deal with it attitude. Great neighborhood, beautiful home, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT AFTER. Buyer beware. PART TWO: 1/16/2023 we find water pouring out of our master window, down the wall and onto the baseboard and carpet. We call the emergency number like we were told to if anything like this happens.. Emergency line tells us its MLK day and everyone is off, somewhat understandable. Tells me that they will send the info to the manager and have someone reach out the next morning right away (they said manager was Ariel) By 10am we still hadn't heard from ANYONE so we made another call. We were told that a manager needed to review, and they would pass the info on. We waited 2.5 hours for a call back and received nothing as usual. Called and spoke to Elizabeth at customer service, she is beyond rude and does nothing to even try and help. She told us someone was already working the file and she had to refer us to them and she would have them call us. We asked for their number and she told us, "I don't have it, they work in the field." Then she continued to tell us this person would call us within 24-48 hours to check our leaking roof. 1 to 2 days just to have a customer service "manager" come out to look at our issue? Homebuying experience is good sales consultant is helpful in showing houses, builders are not able to reapond properly when there are issues in the first 30 days of closing Builder gives so many false hopes for the open issues , but never reapond after closing

Beautiful home and great neighborhood, but overpriced

There are always issues after closing. Most are minor, but there isn’t great customer service or responsiveness after closing by construction manager. We are an afterthought. There should be a person on the construction side to make customers requests feel important post closing for all issues, especially the non warranty issues. Dropping the ball here is what dropped the score.
