I do not recommend Pulte Homes.! After signing purchase agreement things go down hill fast. Our realtor said he could not believe the poor level of customer care we received from a once reputable builder. We had a stressful, frustrating experience trying to fulfill a life long dream that has gone on for 14 months and is still not complete.

Pro : the buying experience was great. Paper work, underwriters, deadlines etc. Con's : The vendors they use. Poor craftsmanship. Attention to details are not something they check nor supervisor. Doors are horribly painted, missing parts, wrong screw colors and installed incorrectly. They installed a horrible and obvious broken, door and patched it up. Doesn't close correctly, patch work horrendous. Floor board chipped, crack. They tired coving all imperfections with paint. Coach lights that trip the breaker every time it rains. Walk in shower that are not tiled correctly, crake cracked and chipped, missing grout, haze on the tile. Overall: House is great from far, but up close quality isn't there specially for the amount you'll pay. It's disappointing. ... More

We like many others building in this climate has been very challenging. We feel we have been very patient and like to consider ourselves as team players. Having said that there has been no reward or recognition in doing so. We feel we have been pushed into being THOSE clients which is very uncomfortable for us. We closed on our home with unresolved items left to be finished. We did this on the word of our field manager Erin Smith/Jake McDole and their construction supervisor Zacree Sheese that all items would be addressed in a reasonable time frame. Now we are left in a home with unfinished work and concerns of the quality of work that has been finished. (faulty brick and caulking on outside of home, soft spot in the middle of gathering room floor) we closed February 9, 2022 and are continuously reaching out on when our unfinished work will get some attention. There really hasn’t been time to enjoy our home with so many projects left undone and no one giving us any feed back when this things will be addressed. This is our retirement home and would like to start enjoying the hard work we have done to get here. We would love in the end to feel that we made the right choice in building with Pulte. Just a side note: in talking with contractors working with Pulte they also seem very frustrated with the response and support they are getting. Our first newly built home where we hoped to be able to relax and retire has been a nightmare. We closed and moved in a little over a month ago and have had repairs done nearly every week for missing grout and caulk in the bathrooms, broken cabinet doors and door locks that don't work. Repairs can take hours for something that should take half the time. We are still waiting for a fix to be able to use a shower since there is an actual hole in tile. We also moved in to a broken oven (still waiting to find out if it was broken in transit or during install and we can't activate a warranty until that is answered). The entire process with pulte was a really bad experience. From the day we walked in to the sales office to now living in the house for a month has been frustrating, stressful, annoying and regretful. I feel like I both have so much to say and nothing to say at the same time because it has absolutely drained my of my energy. Our sales associate was not nice or pleasant to deal with, ever. Pulte dropped the ball on starting construction of the home that delayed me over a month in closing (although addressed by some director in the sales department and concluded with buying down my rate- much appreciated) and continued to deflect blame for it almost all the entire year of construction. The trades did shoddy work. But perhaps the most frustrating now that were living in and own the problem that we paid an extra 15k for is the flooring. The design center consultant was clearly lacking an understanding of what she was promoting to us which in turn led to us now having an extremely fragile hardwod floor that is constantly chipping and scratching and has led to more fights in our family than anything weve ever dealt with. It seems we cant even walk on this floor without a chunk of the edge chipping off or a new scratch being found when we mop. I'm on my hands and knees trying to repair these so they dont create more problems or bigger breakage. Weve relegated the child to only playing with things in room with carpet and the dog now wears shoes every day that he tries to chew off every chance he gets. Both of these concerns were mentioned at design center and we were assured repeatedly that we were buying "an engineered hardwood- much more durable than standard hardwood that will hold up to a child and animals". That is proving to be the furthest thing from the truth. We were told we had to hurry and pick our upgrades so the order of materials could be made in a timely manner since lead times were so long. The day the floor was suppose to be installed I received a call that they didnt have the floor we picked and she wasnt sure how the ball got dropped but asked if we could do the same flooring but in different size planks. So I'm curious what the rush was in picking my floor instead of allowing me to do my due diligence in consulting with flooring experts before being assured this floor was durable and rushed in to picking options we severely regret now. I'm missing a chunk of stucco on the outside of my home where the fence return meets the house and i was told it's not a problem because stucco is just cosmetic. That's not true. It absolutely serves a bigger purpose. As if the styrofoam underneath will not ever degrade from the outside elements? Yeah right. The painters did such a shoddy job I asked them to not even come back and decided I will paint the trim myself. I look around the house and cant even believe how much money I spent on this house for what I got. I've spent the most money I've ever spent in my life on this house and i live in constant regret that I sold my last home to purchase this thing. I fantasize all the time about how driving 2 hours 1 way to work every day wouldve been worth it if I didn't have to deal with this headache of a house. ... More

I was very disappointed in the quality of the building

We purchased our Heatherton and had a great experience with the entire team at Pulte In The Place at Corkscrew. From Justin to Lester. All throughout experience was awesome, worry free and relaxed. They made our buying experience smooth as silk.

I was very happy and pleased from all the service and support all throw the process and even after very professional. Thank you.

My Pulte team, from the sales representative to the mortgage team to the on-site construction team, went above and beyond by responding to my emails and text without delay. The design options offered to allow buyers to build a unique home surprised me. I recommend Pulte Homes to anyone wanting a home that is as beautiful as a custom home but affordable.

I feel builder is compromising on so many factors like quality, materials,workers, no prior inspection of work being done by contractors, outdated options to buyers , no follow ups on pending works even after buyer multiple follow ups , too many problems within a month after moving, I felt like I would never go with pulte.

Quality house. Easy transactions and communication all through out the process until closing. Highly recommended.

It’s a tough time to be building anything, but all in all we had a good experience with Pulte so far. Our construction manager has been the biggest part of our positive experience. Being honest and guiding us through our build really helped what could have been a very trying experience due to delays, to a positive one.

Jordan construction manager is excellent

Pulte is a good company, definitely recommend this builder over some others. There are pros and cons to new builds so go in with an open mind. Pulte makes the process easy and effortless. If you decide to go with Pulte Mortage and Pulte Title it makes the process even easier. We are very happy with our home!

With the on going "supply chain" issues, every one did their best to keep things moving with the build. Our project manager kept us informed on a regular schedule.

I had an amazing experience with Pulte. Despite expected Pandemic issues, the Pulte product and its people rose to the occasion! Every facet was great from the sales person, design consultant, the construction manager and the warranty contact, we had an amazing experience. The professional and the personableness is what stood out the most! Nice job Pulte!

PLEASE STAY CLEAR. Extremely horrible buying experience. They made mistakes in the basement for wet bar plumbing and bathroom rough-in plumbing but refused to accept it. They changed contractors 3 times over the course of the build. Build quality is extremely poor - hear squeaky sounds like the house is from the 80s. Zero professionalism and accountability. Horrible management and really bad workmanship make this an experience I would not wish on my worst enemy. Do not build with Pulte.

We were remote buyers, yet the Pulte team made sure to stay in close contact with updates, pictures and important milestones/information throughout the process, including a virtual settlement to accommodate our move schedule. the purchase experience was good the pulte staff very attentive and the only thing that I would like them to improve is the communication with the buyers at the time of the progress they have made in the construction of the house, but in general excellent company and excellent experience.

Not good workmanship. Pretty sloppy construction. I would think twice before buying a Pulte Home next time.

Disappointment with lack of response to post closing issues that are still outstanding with no promise to address

Sales and construction managers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the house. I truly appreciate their great service and I ended up buying one more pulte house! very satisfied with the service and quality

Overall pretty disappointing build experience. Our sales consultant was great... he was very knowledgable and responsive to inquiries. Our field manager was briefly responsive but after slab was poured, we had very sparse communication. We didn't know where our house was in the build process and when questions/concerns arose, they went unanswered. Our punch list was incomplete or completed haphazardly. Quality is poor from poor paint job, obvious dinged trim/carpentry work, cracked backsplash and shower tile, VERY roughly mud & taped garage.

We had our house closing on 17th December after quite a few postponements. We happily entered our dream house with a sense of relief and belief as we got this from a reputed construction company. Within 48hrs of closing , during a family gathering, I heard a big sound and water came running from the roof ,making a puddle and dripping from the brand NEW house. Rushed to check but water was just pouring , ran up not knowing what to do, but couldn't find anything, our NEW roof was just leaking. Just be in our place and imagine our horror. Never heard anything like this from any new homeowners. After calls and messages ,and a quick checkup, found that the pipe wasn’t soldered properly. We didn’t know how to react , to be relieved as it was a human error or to be horrified at the level of inspection done .How can such things be missed during all the inspections. Leaving me wondering what all things that can happen in future. This incident kept me awake all night, thinking what was the advantage of going with the good builders if not for their quality. Also warranty for us buyers doesn’t mean if anything happens it will be covered , it means that you are so confident about your product that till that tenure all will be functioning properly and if IN CASE something happens it will be covered. Today April 4th as i am writing review till date this issue has not been fixed completely. Warranty customer service is very very poor. There was a delay for closing my house got postponed two times is due to cabinets, those are not up to the mark quality due to below reason. We went with Cabinets kitchen convenience package 2 roll out trays to the kitchen and pull out trash can, most of them are falling out within the days.
