Craftsmanship is not up to par. After living in the home for a month I’ve noticed many dents, scratches and scuffs throughout appliance, walls, doors, knobs, and floor. Deformed door/wall moldings. I also cut my foot with sharp end of screws protruding through carpeting. A few unfinished details. Place-holder stove. Garage door and front door lock issues that prevented me from entering the home for two days post closing. And significantly loud drain pipe that echos throughout first floor. Disappointed with purchase price and quality.

The house buying experience in times of covid has been stressful, everything has been on a very delayed schedule, materials and equipment used have been faulty, requiring urgent attention from the time of moving. Adding to all this , the response from the support team is very poor.

Not a bad experience. Two things we have learned from this experience. 1. Check all options during de building process. Make sure the selection and material a correct, you have to see them in person. We chose to upgrade a zero-VOC paint. The field manager told us the paint is what we choose during the building process, but on the closing day, we found out that it is not the case, they used a different paint with the same color. Shoddy workmanship. Tile is not level, molding around all the doors was cut too short and filled in with caulk. Some of the molding around kitchen island is unpainted. Missing grout in grout lines on floor. It looks like nobody cared about their workmanship.

You can definitely tell there is a labor shortage, as some of the work completed on our home could have been done better by us. We closed with some issues identified and documented for resolution, and over a month later, they are not resolved. With some of the materials and craftsmanship, we just can’t believe that’s what you get for the price paid.

The sales is great. The salesman is willing to help all the time and all the ways. If there are ten stars, I will give ten. The contract didn’t update correctly after the interior design. Some items’ name are different between contract and design brochure. It caused the wrong items are installed and can’t be changed. Lessons to learn here, please sure all the items on the contract are same as what you want. If you find differences from the brochure, just ask. Some construction issues weren’t solved until moved in. Complained many times about the remaining roof issue. But the bad quality ...

Title company was not well organized and requested for multiple unneeded notarized signings. Many small issues with the house build (poorly sealed frames/baseboards, creaks, cracks, cabinet finishing/fit, etc.). Experience could have been better but still the design makes it very enjoyable.

The home buying experience was easy. The mortgage company was great and responsive. However, the work done on the house was very sloppy. You can tell the house was built by the lowest bidders. For example, there was paint splattered on the floor, cracked tile, towel holder was not anchored to the wall properly so as soon as we hung a towel it fell off the wall, caulking was not finished in some areas, and other minor details that you would normally not expect to deal with from a new house.

We love our home, but for the price we paid and upgrade we paid for the orange peel walls, we are highly disappointed with the quality. You can see tape lines throughout the entire home and once we painted the walls ourselves, it was even more noticeable. You can easily see mistakes made to the drywall that was either patched up pretty crappy or not at all. Our issues still have not been resolved with other problems we reported a month ago.

We closed escrow on 5/10 and have not yet moved in (today is 7/11). In the 8 weeks of availability for the walk thru items to be completed, they are not. This is not an impressive way to build trust with customers. We are less than impressed.

The overall experience was as expected and overall positive. One must also keep in mind that these homes are mass produced homes. I also want to caveat that i lived less then a mile from the site, so i was able to stop by and view the progress daily. So let me start; there were a 2 times when we wanted a minor change such as outlets moved 3ft in one direction or switch flipped so it would be on the outside wall vice the inside wall, each instance there was hesitation from the site manager, and cited some ridiculous reasons that i decided to do it myself when we moved in as they were simple ...

Many issues that we brought to Steve’s attention (field manager) during final walk through are not addressed even after moving to new home and it’s been 2 months. Field manager doesn’t pick the call from the time you get the keys and won’t handle issues in timely fashion. We had great experience with Toll Brothers home we bought back in 2017, Pulte has to catch up!!! Poor in responding to issues in timely manner. Have to wait a month atleast to get something working!!!
