It has been less than a month since we moved into our new home. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality as of today, but we have also found defects in the windows and doors which are security issues as well as energy consumption issues for us. We have yet to hear from the window and screen people although we already mentioned the defects. We plan to submit another request for repairs as soon as we gather a list of items that need repairing.

Though I have some disappointments in options provided during design selection, I am happy about workmanship and build quality of my home built by Pulte. Heart full thanks from everyone in my family to Pulte.

The sales part of the purchase was incredibly smooth. All the paperwork was taken care of in a timely manner, and the staff at the design center was very attentive and helpful. The construction aspect was not so great. Trying to get anyone's attention regarding build issues or repairs has been difficult; this remained true after closing. Either we get a very delayed response, or no response at all to emails, calls or texts. We're still trying to get help with problems that we pointed out during construction. The overall process was smooth. The customer care representative (Jose) does respond and raise work orders for any issues in the house after close of escrow. He also promptly follows up with the vendors. They try to resolve 80-85 % of the issues raised and not all the issues. Overall the process is okay and would recommend Pulte to other home buyers.

The builder was great to work with. The only thing I would recommend is staying on top of the small details (molding, painting, etc.) some of that was poorly done but the house in general was beautiful.

I prefer to have big entrance door.

Quality of materials and customer service is great, but construction workers workmanship is not the quality O was expecting. Work was sloppy and things were not addressed to my satisfaction in the end. Home is beautiful, but if you look closely at the trimwork/paint...it's sloppy!

Everyone on the team that I communicated or came in contact with was very professional and responsive to questions and issues I encountered. I didn’t like the turnover rate of the financial department which led to duplication of requested paperwork and other issues which could have caused a delay in closing.

Pulte needs to be better at choosing the GCs who build the homes. The workers who did the work on the build for the GC were average at best and on final walk through, a lot of issues were pointed out that the Pulte Field Manager repaired before closing. In the end what the public sees is the Pulte name, but if average work is being done on the build, the public doesn't see the GC, they see Pulte.

Overall good experience. There are good points and not so good points with new builds as there are with established homes. Pulte is very responsive to the customer issues. Field Manager Joe took care of us and Adam is super with our warranty calls.

Very easy process and very helpful guiding me through this whole new experience. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. There were ups and downs with the building of my home. Pulte was very quick to respond to my concerns. My home was being built during COVID so things were always on back order and very hard to get supplies. Some things were not explained clearly at the design meeting so that caused a few issues with the design of my home. I was unable to get some of the things that I really would have liked to have in my home because I was told what I wanted was standard and comes with the build. It was not standard and I missed out with getting those specific items. I was not happy to the fact that Pulte only puts in basic lights and faucets and carpet in your home. All Chrome. If you want to upgrade it costs double the price if you had it done yourself. So keep this in mind if you are planning on building with Pulte. I have had to change out faucets, towel bars etc in all three of my bathroom. This is my first time building a home. Things do go wrong!!! The finish is not so good.I see cracks at the cabinets, screws showing out in the cabinets. hard wood squeaking sounds. paint comes out pretty easily.

Overall good experience, not great.

The home buying experience was great - but now that I’m in my new home- huge disappointment- light fixtures have detached from ceiling and I haven’t gotten a response from Warranty people in a week— worse yet roaches were in my residence after carpet was placed- I thought issue would be resolved—- I have an infestation- probably due to a dumpster overflowing with trash next door that has been a hazard for over a month— HELP!

Over all , it's alright, but needs to concentrate more on finishing touches.

The builder site supervisor was great! There were some building practices where the workers were messy and didn’t care about going the whole nine yards to do it in the best way possible.

Pulte kept to the original timeline. That was important to ensure moving went smoothly. House plan and layout of house is good. It fit better than any other builder (for the price). Challenges were with finish-work and cleanliness. Throughout the project there was constant piles of trash both inside and outside the house. After drywall and flooring, there was mud tracked through, drywall clumps and dust EVERYWHERE, and the cleanup at various key stages was skipped. How do we know? All the trim work is embedded with dust that was painted over and occasional large drip marks dried in place. We had laminate throughout the house with slight overspray along all the walls on the floor. We pulled out the Oven and dishwasher to find clumps of drywall mud dried on the floor and dust that was never cleaned/swept. Terrible enforcement on simple "cleanup after your work" was enforced. Finish work was short as well. Finish carpentry had many gaps that needed re-caulked, poor touchups, and doors with chipped paint and scratches. What was the most painful was the flooring. We had hundreds of rubber hammer marks all over. These were pointed out with each inspection with the supervisor saying it would get resolved. On closing day, they were still there and the excuse was they simply wipe up. Turns out they did not. We had to use mineral spirits to scrub each mark and then rinse with water. We spent DAYS cleaning the floor and still find places. Ridiculous! The only feedback when conveyed again to the supervisor was that “those marks will disappear over time.” Overall, the house is built well and has a great feel, but fell short when it came to delivery at the end. When you spend three weeks cleaning a new house, it does not feel you got your money's worth. The bright point is our Sales person (Obie). She helped identify all the options we had to choose from and was good at finding answers. For example, we needed laminate everywhere and no carpet. She made it happen! We had several additions for lights added and other changes. She ensured all were identified and worked into the build. In closing, we would recommend and build with Pulte again, but be more hands-on with the supervision of the build. That was the part that was lacking. What bothers me is all the grass they put in are loaded with frogs; however 2 times they got into my new home under the couch. They come out at night so you can't even sit outside cause they run in. It is a problem, otherwise everything was OK.

Everyone that we directly worked with was great. We love our house location, style, and layout. However, I feel like for the price we paid, the quality does not match. It seems like corners were cut to put cheaper material in where just doing it right the first time would have been better. When you find beer bottles in your home during the construction process you really question who is actually building your home. I think for the price point, Pulte could have done better subcontracting trades.

I was just excited about the entire build process with Pulte. Right from the start of the home selection process, through the interior design session and the actual build the Pulte team were always very helpful and constantly providing me with all the information I needed. The quality of the home is very good and I feel I got real value for my money invested. I can only offer great recommendation for Pulte as a valued home builder based on my experience.

Construction went as planned, no delays.

Inability to negotiate anything in the contract T&Cs, a bit upsetting. Other than that, builder did a good job all around.
