Worst experience, poor quality.

From our initial meeting with Devin in sales, to our interactions with Dan & Steve our Construction Managers we always felt in the loop. Then when we moved in and had a few issues, our Customer Service Rep Kristi has been on top of every repair/fix we’ve submitted a claim on. An overall A+ experience!

I find myself keeping a spreadsheet for warranty repairs, chasing when repair people don’t show, and am now sending a weekly update on what is outstanding, not scheduled, etc. I already have a full time job and don’t really need more work honestly. Accountability or your partners is critical and accountability of Pulte to manage the repairs to be done. I should not have to chase these on a daily basis between my own conference calls for work. We are home everyday working and schedule our work around folks coming and the rate of showing up is 25% then I have to chase it myself.

Pulte is a high quality home builder who keeps you informed and has great warranties surrounding their products.

I do not really care to have large stone in the driveway! The garage door seems to be very small. The garage walls were not properly finished!

Pulte Sales misled me early on, costing me thousands of dollars. Low quality standards evidenced inside and outside of house. Contractors show no pride in their work, or interest in doing a good quality job. Pulte construction shows no interest in quality. They are incented to put the house up as fast as possible so Pulte can collect your money ASAP!!!

Although Pulte has been responsive to addressing the numerous issues I have had with my home there are two big problems. First a lot of my time was wasted in getting issues resolved. Second numerous other small annoyances remain but I’m to exhausted to deal with them. I would never buy a Pulte home again. Life is to short.

The after-sales service is not very good. I have a broken glass in my house, but I have not been able to contact the after-sales maintenance department. I hope it can be solved for me as soon as possible.

The total quality of the workmanship and quality assurance were not up to standards. As soon as we moved in we started experiencing several problems. Another big problem is that we moved in to our brand new home almost two months ago, and until now, we still don’t have an oven/microwave combo. If you ask my personal opinion, this is unsatisfactory.

The builder was fine. The supply issues and finishing work of the contractors were very disappointing. Still trying to get things finished that were identified prior to closing

The house looks beautiful and well built! The Sale’s department staff are great they helped us a lot, especially Juel! One thing that we don’t like is the process of warranty works on the after closing, there is not phone number available for contact person to talk to, it’s pretty annoying process with just emailing contact! What if I don’t know how to use computer or don’t know how to write in English, etc..

Our foreman on the site, Andre was very responsive and looked over everything very well. He answered our questions and had items fixed fast for the closing.

I like the quality of my home.

Before buying a Pultle home I went to their website and watched their promotional materials. It featured a lot of people that knew what they were talking about and took pride in their work. This is not what I experienced at all. I experienced lots of fighting to get things done correctly and in the end, there are still a lot of things that look awkward. Walls that look twisted, a roof that has dips in it, ceilings that have boils, creaky floors, unfinished mortar work, and the list goes on. If you ask to get something fixed, they basically do the same bad work over again. I would say if you do buy a Pulte home, take lots of photos and don't let them proceed to the next phase until it's 100% correct, or else you will be on the phone with their warranty department forever to get things fixed correctly, if at all. While my project manager was super receptive to our needs, the people doing the actual work had a "slap things together" work ethic and it shows in the "finished" product. The other issue was our sales person was hard to get a hold of and then that person quit half way through our build. This wasn't communicated to us until months later, which resulted in lack of communication in the build. ... More

Lucky to have pretty good sales person Marcos and passionate construction Manager Pablo, helped me getting the dream realized. It’s my first home which took little time to built due to COVID, permit process delay and Supply & Chain issue but as soon permit approved Pulte put entire army to built it and also it’s amazing to see how well handled the Supply and Chain issue. Being in main city the community is well planned, decent size streets and manage to get backyard. houses are built for everyone need by having multiple floor plan. lot of material used is very high quality include granite countertops, utilities, and good brands appliances installed as default with options to upgrade. House is designed and built for future needs ... More

Better customer service after closing to complete warranty work

They took a little over a year to build our house. We had multiple major issues that seemed to not be taken seriously. I felt like had I not pointed out the issues that they would have allowed them to remain and done whatever they could to have hidden them. I am not speaking of the pulte builders, but the contractors that they use. Overall I expected a memorable experience and I received one. Unfortunately it is not a memory I want to look back on. At the end of the day the issues were repaired and pulte does offer a warranty so we will see what other issues arise in the next year.

My family and I enjoy our new home. From the moment that we decided to become a part of the Pulte Community, the buying process was very smooth. Post build there were few small issues that needed resolving and those issues were corrected the same day or within days with a follow up call. The warranty department is great and we are confident that they will make any issue we have right.
