Paint job and flooring could have been done better. I think other sub contractors could have done a better job on a few things like cleaning up before installing stuff and completely finishing things off, minor things which an individual would not notice during the final walk but would notice once they start living in. Overall the final finishes were something we weren't fully satisfied, definitely room to improve

I am an experienced and retired executive with lot f background in real estate. Pulte needs to shape up in its corporate behavior. Currently it stinks. You have collected initial contribution of $2500 for amenities and collecting monthly HoA. what for". You did not have even nerve to inform us the timeline for amenities. You are interested only to make money but not fulfill your promises. It is better for your senior executives to come and meet with us before gets chastised by a judge and make refunds to community. To buy is was very good experience, but now I want to contact somebody to ask questions and nobody responds, don't even respond the e-mails.

We recently completed the process of building our new home with Pulte, and overall, the experience was quite positive, though not without its hiccups. Having previously built a home with Meritage Homes, we noticed a discernible improvement in craftsmanship with Pulte, which was a pleasant surprise. The responsiveness and service provided by our agent at the model house were highlights of our experience. They handled our requests and questions with remarkable speed and professionalism, which made a significant difference in the process. However, not everything was smooth. We encountered some issues as our construction manager quit unexpectedly, and disappointingly, Pulte did not inform us of this change in a timely manner. Moreover, there were a few items that we felt should have been addressed prior to closing but were overlooked. In conclusion, while the process of building a home is inherently filled with challenges, Pulte managed to deliver a quality home with superior craftsmanship compared to our previous experience. Overall it was a solid experience. Even though their communication is horrible! I had to constantly chase my project manager for information. I also missed my pre-drywall inspection, which is unacceptable! However, the home so far, has been good and it appears to be holding well and looks great!

Tom, our construction contact during the last days of construction and after closing, was so friendly. He also was very helpful and wanted to resolve our issues. At one point I called the Pulte office to request his email so I could request help with an unlevel refrigerator. He was at our door before I could compose the email. Closing on and occupying a newly built home is sometimes confusing and nerve-wracking, but Pulte, and Tom in particular, really took the stress level down. I have to say they made the process very comfortable and easy.

1. The buying process was very smooth as the pulte sales person was responsive in timely manner and she did whatever she could to help me with my concerns. 2. Here it comes the journey of every homeowners that want to build their trust in the house as it’s building. With the same excitement, I was visiting the site every week getting to know the process as well as gaining confidence in the house with the quality of the work. As few months passed by, I started finding the construction manager was negligent and not doing his job in supervising and managing the quality of the construction and instead I was doing his job pointing out easily seen mistakes the labor had made. He would not hesitant lying in front of you and would not feel the shame after you proved him wrong. He would lie to you again just because he wants to get your signature on completion certificate and close the house on time. 3. Although I signed the completion certificate but I did not have confidence in the completion of the house. 4. But here the twist comes and I was able to gain the confidence in my house after closing because PulteHomes saw my feedback I provided at closing and the higher level manager reached out to me through a call and assigned me a lead manager to address my issues after I explained him what happened. Overall PulteHomes is great and so would recommend PulteHomes to my friends and relatives!!! Just don’t hesitate to explain your issues as I did not, even thought it was my first house ever!! ... Unreasonable policy on delays. I had to pay extra money from my pocket for no issue of mine. Escalated to CEO, no response. Will probably think twice before buying another home w/ Pulte.

I would say quality was not what we expected for the money we paid. There were some issues we experienced but they were eventually resolved. We are still removing excess paint splatters on floors and tile which I would think should have been taken care of during a quality inspection. Also I highly recommend a deep cleaning of the house prior to closing as we had to clean everything from floors, doors, windows and blinds. When asked why it was so dusty we were told they only do 'construction clean'. Which again for the money paid for the home, a deep cleaning by a professional crew would have gone along way. ... More

Compare to other builders . Pulte home is better.

Completion was not what I was looking for in some areas. Was told to many times about warranty after issues addressed before closing. Would suggest not to close until your house has been inspected by your own source because it’s cost me. Cleaning was not up to par at all.

Slippy work everywhere that needs to be fixed.

House have lots of defects which have not been taken care of and we are still pursuing to get it corrected.

Great experience. Our sales rep and project manager were amazing.

Once in home we began to see many quality issues that we didn’t notice during our final walk through. Pulte service is responsive to tickets, but if they had better subcontractors there wouldn’t be so many tickets.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Until the sale is complete. Then you're an inconvenience. We have a couple of minor build issue that we've brought up, (one was corrected sloppily) we're still trying to straighten out our solar purchase. If you were to ask your staff there are issues because we're not very intelligent. At least that's the impression we get. Or we're a nuisance. I suppose that I should have expected this. If every request for help receives an indifferent response, then I guess they figure we will ask for help less often. Easier for the support staff that way.

Our home is beautiful but we would never buy a new home from Pulte again. The process was a year and half long. Lots of changes were made over that time frame. Quality of the build is moderate, definitely not what we expected. Joey our construction manager did his best to make sure things were done however he only had so much pull. The worst experience would be the design center. Making you pick out every detail of a 4000sq ft house on a 4 hour period is ridiculous. The designer was not helpful and pushed us through things way to fast. Details were left out on important things and now we are stuck. ... More

Know that you will pretty much be told anything to get you to sign as well as pertinent information left out. Ask questions and get it in writing. Check every tiny thing BEFORE closing. We found paint ALL over our floors, cabinets split/uneven, etc. Go back and follow up on your pre-closing walk through BEFORE you sign at closing. We really had to push and then were told, "We don't always get every blue tape". Okay, what's the point then? Closing on time is certainly the priority vs a 100% satisfied customer. Just be observant and force the issue to get it done.

So many little issues needed to be resolved even though the house was supposed to be move-in ready. Door bell not working, paint not properly done, nails could be felt under many places in the carpet...just to name a few. A proper list would take up a page. I would advise Pulte to have quality supervisors in place who's job it is to come do a checklist in the house before the house is handed over to the buyer.

We rated this based on our experience with all aspects of Pulte and their subcontractors. If this survey pertains specifically to our construction manager, Joey, then the rating is high. If this survey pertains to vendor like SST, then the rating is 1-2.

We wanted a fast track closing - Pulte Homes delivered that - the home we purchased was already built - there were no items to choose from or discuss with the sales agent or builder - we think that because we were not involved from the beginning, some of the items we have discovered leading up to and immediately POST closing are items that would have been addressed early on in the process - now we are just handling through the warranty/customer care process instead of the build process - some of the items are frustrating (like loose outlets/missing screws/stuck doors) - others are simply an annoyance (inability to register HVAC unit) - overall, the people with all the different divisions of Pulte have been willing to assist and make things work - "do the right thing" is a core value and our experience is that they do live out that value ... The support from the sale agent through the closing process was very good. The overall quality of the home is good but some items and workmanship are average at best.
