At Trails of Woods Creek in Algonquin, homebuyers are passed along from sales rep Kristen or Christine, to Celeste at the design center, to construction manager Anthony, to Brandon for pre-drywall review, to Alex for pre-closing review, to Kerie for after-sale support. It would be helpful to have a single advocate homebuyers could turn to at any stage for support or to have their questions answered. We should have been in our home in September of 2021, but they didn't start until October 2021. the first building manger we had was a nice a person but, he gave me the feeling that he either know what was going on with my floor plan or just didn't care. The home buying experience was good. The design center experience was great. Once construction of the home started, communication was sketchy. We had four different project managers (PM) and I believe the communication between each PM during the transition from one to other was lacking. The quality of the workmanship could be better for the price of the home.

I think the owners should have more options in selections - ex. if the owner wants handicap cabinets bottoms or not - this is not for everyone - some examples in model home choices don't always appear to be the same when installed - owners should be allowed more custom options of the condo - big tubs a waste in master bath - keep a larger shower and linen closet. add more kitchen cabinets

We were excited to move in but Pulte had fallen short of expectations. We closed 2 months ago. We still have broken cabinets, mix matched paint, missing light fixtures and NOT A SINGLE HANDLE ON ANY CABINET OR DRAWER IN THE ENTIRE HOISE. There were too many misses to cover. The entire experience had been MEH.

Builder uses COVID excuses for 95% of issues that arise during the whole process. In-house financing also does not communicate well or work to make a decent homebuying value. Foundation and framing are good quality work. Finishers are rushed and have poor quality of work.

I did not have the best buying experience with Pulte from the mortgage issues to some of the details in the workmanship. I know the mortgage company is "separate" from the builder, however this is not my first new build and from past experiences with other builders, this one by far not the best experience. I had several issues upon moving in. The construction manager was great to work with but some of the other contacts did not live up to my expectations.

Tyler, the sales rep was wonderful. He helped us figure out the home options we would like and is very good at his job. The home was completed in a timely manner, and the overall workmanship was very good. Everything was going well until the end of the build. There were SEVERAL issues at our final walkthrough, and this was addressed with the project manager BUT nothing was fixed or corrected. Our garage door is broken 2nd week into a new construction home because the J bar was not installed into the wall at all. When it came undone, it caused damage to the garage door, and would have caused serious injury to anyone walking into the garage , or damage to our vehicles. Most of the window latches don't close correctly in the house either. We also do not have the property line marked correctly to setup a fence in the backyard.

Our Pulte sales lead was a breath of fresh air. Her business and new home acumen exceeded all expectations. Marissa followed up on all sales, design and new home questions. A very kind and professional approach. This was our 8th new home and ranked as one of the lowest in home construction. We bought multiple upgrades on just about all materials. At a first excited glance, everything looks okay, but with time, you start to see the imperfections. The base boards are some of the worst I’ve seen. A lot of unpainted uncaulked areas. The stairs as well, paint drips, uncaulked seams, exposed areas. Some unpainted areas In ceiling. It was a rushed job and I get that they’re building in bulk, but for the amount of money paid, you’d expect a little more care.

The challenge of the supply chains I realize and have built many other homes but it doesn’t excuse the fact of how dirty my house was during construction and especially after the finishes started going in the cabinets had some white dust all over them that has never been totally cleaned and the cabinets need a lot of repair and look terrible in some places a person worked on them the day after I closed and now have heard nothing four weeks later. I guess like all of these construction companies they bend over backwards for you until closing. Once you close they are not as responsive. They have left the landscaping in front of my unit with dead plants and looking like crap. To make matters worse they claim is the HOA responsibility and they have not yet surrendered their responsibility to the HOA in fact they haven’t even finished a walkway that goes by a green area next to my unit. The communication has been a major issue before and after closing. It been like a hit or miss. Somedays it feels like no one is listening to our feedback. there has been issue with work quality, major items. I am not going into minor defects which are multiple. Great experience with the on-site sales rep. The construction team was great until we closed. The walk through provided very little information regarding maintenance and features of the home. Some items were not finished by closing and the follow through with those items has been disappointing. Warranty has been dismal. I submitted a request early to take care of a leak as well as a few other items. Thankfully, due to my own persistence, the leak was repaired. Sales and construction managers were great overall, responsive and engaging. Major issues related to subcontractors timelinesses and attention to detail. 6 weeks after closing, still a number of unresolved issues which are taking unnecessarily too long to effectively address. If Pulte would take just a few extra weeks to finish a home it would make a world of difference. Pulte wants their money without regard to the large amount of money buyers are putting down for their homes. Unfortunately everything is driven by closing a certain number of homes every month so the last two weeks are crazy time as they rush to complete jobs. The trades are under pressure to get their respective jobs done so they rush to complete at the expense of quality.

Not the greatest experience, build quality and finishes were lacking due to limited construction quality control of contractors. Pulte quality assurance relied on new homeowner to find faults to include damaged cabinetry, electrical code violations and poor workmanship.
