I must say the sales folks at the office were great. They walked me through the process great. However, during construction phase it became a crap show. They changed construction manager 3 times which significantly delayed projected closing time. I had to spend almost 6 months at an AirB&B because of it. no concessions, no apologies just business as usual. The material used for electrical and lighting were basic at best. You can tell they were trying to cut as many corners as they could get away with. For the money i've paid, surely deserved a better product.

The home took awhile to build, but the final product was worth waiting for. Of course there are some issues with the home, but that is to be expected.

As a homebuyer from out of state, Pulte Homes made the experience enjoyable. From the constant updates from sales rep, to the knowledgeable design center designer, to working with the mortgage was a 5 star experience. The production side of the business was a 3 to 4 star experience. Weekly updates were provided, but I still have some items remaining from closing. There is a plan in place so I will reserve comment until delivery. Also better project management of subs would be my only recommendation. Really good product for track construction almost similar to the stick building model.

Work with our sales person has been excellent. She was helpful with selections and also with advise about options. She has let us know what was happening during construction and explained the delays. The biggest problem that we had was that when we walked through prior to closing there were many things not finished and no touch up had been done. We were promised that they would be done by closing and nothing was done. For example, our refrigerator was not set up, the washer and dryer not connected, vent covers and covers under the kitchen sink were missing, doors were cracked and split and an attempt to repair one door left it off the hinges in our bathroom - it needed to be replaced. The paint job was sloppy and there was glue and other material on the floors. There were cap over the screws missing on the front door and the outer door windows were covered with excess paint. It was really sloppy and it delayed our moving in be several days. Since closing Jon has been in and taken care of a number of these concerns. He has been amicable, apologetic and efficient. However, when he was out we got no response to requests. We have now been in our home for a month and just got the keys to our mail box so we can receive mail. Although we are still pleased to be living in a Pulte Home and greatly appreciate the responsiveness to our requests for repair of items that should have been done at closing, we are considered that there is a serious problem with preparing these homes for sale in an expected way that may deter others. We hope that this is a temporary problem. We also have not heard from the management company and the field behind us is tremendously overgrown and for those of us with allergies is a serious problem that also must detract from sales. Make sure you have everything complete and to you standards before you move it. Once you get your keys it take weeks/months to get what should have been complete/fixed done.

The construction side for the most part went great however the contract/sales side was a total nightmare. We gave our sales rep our check for our earnest money for our lot in November 2021 and despite being told we would have our contract in a week we didn’t get it until March 2022. We asked weekly when we would get our contract and it wasn’t until my husband went to corporate directly we finally got one. They tried to play games and raise the overall price $20K during the process which thankfully didn’t happen. There was total lake of communication and sometimes no response at all to questions from our sales rep. The mortgage side was a total joke as well. We used our own mortgage company because no one at Pulte mortgage seemed to be able to communicate and share the same information. We got several conflicting answers to the same question if we got answers back at all. We are incredibly happy to be in our home but the process of getting there was incredibly frustrating. ... More

Initial impression upon closing was great. A week of living in the house revealed several issues. The LED ceiling lights were hanging out of the ceiling, later found that this was because ceiling drywall was not cured when they were installed. A week after move-in, all drains were blocked. Main sewer line from house was clogged with construction debris. Plumber said this happens about 25% of the time. Why not clear the drains before closing? Also, once closing occurs, your project manager ends any responsibility for your home - you have to go through Pulte maintenance now. The team at Pulte was proficient and good to work with - very timely in response to inquiries and issues. The quality of some finishes makes me question their subcontracting - rushed and not good value for price paid. If I buy another home, I would go with the basics and hire out my own contractors for higher quality finishes and materials.

Great location of home and community. However after closing very tough to get issues taken care of. Over a month after closing waiting for kitchen crown molding. The tiles in the home have different grout colors, uneven tiles, and grout size variations from 1/4 to 1/2 inch which make it look terrible. Sales team was amazing and the construction manager keeps information flowing. However incomplete homes that require much work are being closed on. After closing they were putting bathroom mirrors up!

Sales staff are great to work with. Good follow-up / communication. However, build quality when it comes to the minor details could improve. It's the little things that can make/break ones opinion.

Saleswoman, Britta, is excellent. Helped us through the process. After that, dealing with the various subcontractors Pulte uses has been bad. Subcontractors next door leave garbage that blows onto our property. Mortgage company, cable tv company two examples. Numerous emails to staff not responded to. Pulte and cable company blamed each other for problems. Some strange design choices. One of our two outdoor water faucets is in the garage. No watering of seeded back yard or river birch trees since being installed. I am watering Pulte's property right now. The Pulte people onsite are working hard to help us, but I think they are shortstaffed. Nobody knows what is going to happen with landscaping on the south side of Josiah. Who is in charge here? ... Post repairs slow, incomplete work still open, some warranty repairs needed 6 weeks after closing.

Everything was great until we moved in. Then communication and completion of outstanding items stopped. Not only can't I get the outstanding items completed(like a garage door and sod) I can't even get a date when these tings will be taken care of.

Cory and Vanessa were great to work with, however the workmanship wasn't that great. And, friends are shocked when I mention that ceiling fan and hanging lights installation are not included as well as only one rack in a bedroom closet. Some of the painting was pretty sloppy, too.

The overall build experience was positive. Dan was great to work with in terms of responsiveness, communication, and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The quality of workmanship was lacking (most likely subcontracting). Even after the pre-closing walk through, some of the fixes where not any better than the original issue(s). However, I will say that Dan will work to make things right.

Felt like the builder was waiting for me to give him a good survey teams and just disappeared (limited / no responses since then )

This is my first one so I’m not sure what to expect. But I noticed a lot of things that are not done as I expected.

The experience was pretty good pre closing; once we closed on the house, getting timely responses from the Home Care Manager is frustrating at times. The Home Care Manager is having to fix workmanship issues that should have been addressed by the builder. The builder doesn't do a good job in paying attention to the final details just prior to the new owners moving in. All efforts 72 hours prior to the new owners moving in should be for the builder to go throughout the entire house to make sure everything is done right and to standard.

The construction with Mr Wesley was flawless. However, once delivered, pointed issues were not solved properly. I am waiting for more than 2 months to get some problems fixed.

Paint work was not high quality or complete, some jobs not complete around home.

Framing & Flooring work has been disappointing so far. Expected a lot more from Pulte.
