Easy build process, great communication throughout the process. Very happy.

It is not a quality builder

We purchased a home in 2021. The entire buying process was okay, nothing stood out until the end. We could not fly in because of covid and the closing experience was bad. They tried to give us a virtual walkthrough but the video quality was terrible and very few issues were detected. When we arrived, I made a list of a lot of issues I detected in the house. A LOT. Response to fixing the issues is good. The person responding to maintenance requests is great. While I appreciate the customer service, it's also a lot of time involved in having to fix the issues because we have 5+ people coming in every other month for all the issues we've found. Can Pulte just hire someone that does quality assurance before giving out the keys? When we pay for the house, we don't come saying, "hey, we only have 95% of the money we promised, we did our best", right? It's the same way when delivering the house to us. You can't come 95%. ... We had a great experience. Ryan our project manager was excellent and kept us fully updated on progress. We bought and build virtually due to pandemic and we were impressed with quality and finish. Highly recommend Pulte.

We understand we are living in unique times with unprecedented challenges. That being said Pulte has failed in their production and delivery. For the most part the employees are well intended. There were minor problems with the sales department and mortgage department. These were normal and generally handled in a professional manner. Unfortunately, Pulte constructions has not adjusted to the current economic conditions and challenges they present. Instead of giving us better quality finishings, as we expected, corners were cut on material purchases and sloppy work was done. Needless mistakes. Our bathroom doors banged together. We were told that the door stoppers they used met specifications so that was normal. Really… it is normal for the doors to hit each other after the stoppers have been adjusted as far as they can? Very frustrating on a simple item. We had to go out and buy doorstops that cost a few cents more, take the doors off, install the new doorstops which resolved our problem. All at our expense. This is just one of many examples. We have had to fix numerous items ourselves. The process has not been a pleasant experience. What is shown in sales literature is not what has been delivered. Most of what we read negatively online turned out to be true. Based on the terms of our contract we had to close on a Home that was not finished in a professional workman like manner. Some of the work in the home is of good quality. Most of the work in the home lacks expertise and care. Sloppy finishing work. Needless mistakes. Many of these mistakes could’ve easily been fixed during the production process. Everything was rushed in an effort to close prior to the end of the year. Warranties and repairs are only as good as the people doing the work. They tried 6 times to replace and install our kitchen cabinet doors. We have decided to do it ourselves and hire our own contractor. This nonsense is mind numbing. Pulte has thrown out thousands of dollars of perfectly good cabinet door because of mistakes being made. Needless mistakes. We understand that this is a production home but that doesn’t mean that it’s acceptable to do substandard work. It has cost us a significant amount of money to fix many of their mistakes and make our home look nice. We have no reason to think that there are any significant issues with the home build. We are hopeful the structure will hold up. In conclusion: the issue is sloppy work, substandard contractors, poor craftsmanship, lack of attention to detail and workman unable to fix these issues. The people we interacted with at Pulte were generally friendly and responsive. Overall I had a good experience.

Pulte associates were all great to work with at each step of the buying & building process.

We were pretty disappointed in the condition of the home at close. We found all kinds of issues with the painting and we find more every day. Lots of dings in the wood that were just painted over, a poor paint job overall with many areas were the paint ran down the wall or peeled away where a door was closed with wet paint. So many painting issues that we’ll probably need to repaint the interior ourselves. The garbage disposal didn’t work at move in, cracked areas in the trim, the front door handle missing screws etc. We are really disappointed in the poor attention to detail and the responses to our service requests has been slow. Overall Pulte built a great home for us. I’m glad we had them as our builder!

Worst experience of our lives changed so much on us. Extremely rude sales team, Kelly and sales manager mike. Regional president did nothing for us (k Christopher son) they all cover for each other. Most importantly workmanship is terrible took tons of pictures. We are re finishing a lot on our own so the house can look of descent quality. Couple bright spots on the construction team who worked with us to resolve everyone else’s mistakes. If you don’t care for quality and being just another sales number buy a home with pulte. I would do a ten times better job running this company.

The only issue I have had is that after the walk through, we identified a few things that needed to be fixed - two issues had not been resolved at the time we moved in. That was a bit of a disappointment.

A good experience overall. Our sales rep was forthright and honest. Our construction manager stayed on top of construction issues, although he coulbetter communicator. communicator. Ultimately, we're very satisfied with the home.

The team at Pulte was responsive and helpful through a tough time to be building with so much uncertainty! Love our home and our neighborhood!

Numerous issues after the fact and communication issues with Warranty. Especially victor

We were forced to closed on our house that was not finished. It’s been 30 days and, still the home looks like we live in a construction site. Pulte should be embarrassed to have home close with so many issues.

Working with Ben and Sean. They were incredible. very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process.

Now that we are in our home we see a major lack of attention to detail. Paint on flooring, trim and carpet. Adhesive in various places on flooring. Vinyl floor has an obvious slit that just had glue applied over that area. Caulk drips that won’t come off. Water damaged door. There is a lack of care for the new finishes in our home. A response to theses issues has been non existent so far.

This was supposed to be the happiest time of our life but it has absolutely been a nightmare! We actually had others by in the same community as us and we regret it! They have had very similar problems also a lot of the work very subpar and we’re still having many issues! We have to call or text many times over before we get a response! It has been an absolute nightmare and would never build with Pulte again.

We expected much better quality form this builder for the cost of the home. Home was not cleaned at time of closing to move in ready.

Pretty smooth experience buying our place

I have nothing negative to say about our experience with Pulte Homes. From the moment I walked into the showroom I knew it was where I wanted to be. Maria, as I’ve said in previous reviews, was so excellent and engaging that I felt an instant desire to secure a lot and get underway. She is a real asset to Pulte Homes. The communication throughout the process was amazing. I never waited more than a few minutes to get answers to questions. Elena at the design studio was fantastic. She helped us with our selections and we left feeling excited about our project. Once it was time to start the actual building we had the pleasure of meeting Wesley and his team. The whole process of our first meeting with him was highly professional but so much fun. We felt like we had a try understanding of the steps moving forward and we felt the utmost faith in Wes’ delivering a perfect house to us in the months to come. The communication with Wesley was also excellent with never having to wait for a response on various questions. Since moving in I have had nothing but positive feelings about the house. I love the house. Whenever we have questions or need help with anything, the Pulte team has not let us down. We feel 100% supported in this new chapter in our lives. Thanks again! ... More

From start to finish, this was a seamless process. Devin was very professional, informative and responsive. Dan our builder was super helpful, patient, understanding and also responsive. These gentlemen made this first time experience for my family easy but yet also pleasant. Thank Devin And Dan

The home buying and building process was pretty quick and seamless. The design center experience could have been better. Our design center associate was not very knowledgeable and there were no prices assigned to upgrades at the showroom so it was hard to do a cost benefit analysis. That process should be more automated. There should be a computer at the showroom the associate work from that can give you an updated price in real-time as you add upgrades. We also were caught up in the pricing readjustment which was very confusing. Overall we are very satisfied with the home. I hope that the warranty service does not decline after Pulte finishes the neighborhood. ... More
