Craftsmanship was very sloppy. Examples include window frames that are not straight, painted walls have spots where paint is missing, paint on carpet, flooring has spots that are not sealed to concrete, blobs of grout on shower floor and garage floor, missing door stops.

The variety of build is very satisfying.

Pulte builds a quality home. Things were tough due to supply chain issues, but they stick with it and got the job done.

Overall we had a great experience. Some of the work done was not to the standard I expected, but overall we are happy.

Make sure you inspect your new house very carefully. A lot of small details left behind.

Our wood floor had three nicks/dents in it. Looks like someone dropped something and put a nick in the wood. We also have splits going down the wood planks. We have, what I believe to be Caulk or some other film all over our tiles on the floor and wall in both bathrooms and on front door. The tile work in the laundry room is done horrible and doesn’t go flush to the wall. Waiting to see if there is proper drainage under our washer and dryer since they weren’t properly installed. During use they shook and moved all over the laundry room. The vent in the downstairs bathroom doesn’t go on. I was told due to back ordered piece. There are nicks and dents around the molding around the doors. The front door is so hard to open. Not only ours but our neighbors too that they go in and out so much the picture frames on my walls move. And it’s just annoying to listen to throughout the night when we are watching tv trying to relax. Still waiting on our water line to be connected for our fridge that got delivered late. The fridge was delivered with a dent on the freezer door. The kitchen cabinets have defects in the doors and cracked cabinet frames. The weather stripping on the garage door isn’t in place. We are 3 months post closing on our new construction home and have multiple outstanding issues that are yet to be corrected. If you like empty promises and poor workmanship Pulte can help you there. This is the 3rd new home that my wife and I have built and has been by far the worst experience we have had.

Craftsmanship is not up to par. After living in the home for a month I’ve noticed many dents, scratches and scuffs throughout appliance, walls, doors, knobs, and floor. Deformed door/wall moldings. I also cut my foot with sharp end of screws protruding through carpeting. A few unfinished details. Place-holder stove. Garage door and front door lock issues that prevented me from entering the home for two days post closing. And significantly loud drain pipe that echos throughout first floor. Disappointed with purchase price and quality.

Very responsive in the local Michigan market to questions and problems.

Quality of house is not as per my expectation, For example stairs are losing their color and the after sales services team is unable to support saying it’s out of warranty , similar is the case for small other points where I am not even calling now or raising services requests as I have very low expectations from Pulte services team , as the answers are mostly to ignore the requests.

Jelena is super nice and great to work with. Our many questions were answered and overall had a great experience with her. Branson with the construction team also is very friendly and very responsive which is great in getting issues resolved in a timely manner. I really appreciate the support from these two.

Stefano Hankewycz and Jim LaValle are absolutely wonderful to work with. There were disappointing things that happened during construction, but those events were out of their control. The communication and care that Jim and Stefano shared during the build was a blessing during a stressful and unpredictable time.

On each stage it was bad experience with Pulte starting from Sales Team, Pulte Design Center and Construction quality and standard. Worst part is big brand Pulte can construct Sleight walls.

Pulte home are very well built homes. The Sales Representative was knowledgeable and responsive.

Make sure your home is complete before you accept. We're still without proper drainage off the downspouts. This is causing water in the basement. A 6 week old home should not have water issues in the basement.

I would caution any new buyers to look elsewhere. We are 45 days into ownership and very disappointed. Not only did we have to make several concessions along the way, now we are dealing with very poor responsiveness post move in. Pulte was responsive during the build process, but now its like a switch was flipped, once we took possession, they do not respond. Even though we had a documented (and Pulte acknowledged) list of 10+ concerns, no response despite numerous attempts to have things addressed. Our concerns are significant; issues such as missing exterior siding, non-functional dishwasher, unfinished trim items, trim items missing, lastly the entire hardwood flooring having white paint overspray and more pronounced paint drips/splashes in nooks and corners. This is our third new home build and the worst. Pulte is building too many homes too fast. Supply chain issues and worker shortage has led to many build quality issues and subpar work by their subcontractors. Field Manager does not keep promises that were made for items to be fixed so that we would close on home. We have had build quality issues throughout and it has been many months since we closed with nothing being addressed.

My overall experience was great do far.

I Have two verbal conversation about warranty issues along with a submitted ticket over 10 days ago without response.

Everything was great from sales to customer service however, this has been the worst new build from pain crew I’ve ever seen. From caulking to base boards to doors, the painters did a terrible job. This will be fixed but it’s disheartening to see the poor level of workmanship in such a large part of the home’s esthetics.

I requested more than month ago for repair for chipped door and many other things needed to be fixed. Why your company hasn't done anything? Please respond with your answers.
