Overall good quality. Love the development.

The whole process with pulte has been a struggle from the get go, there was a lack of communication throughout the process and many questions that we asked to get answered that were not. After moving in we have had many issues with the home just within the first month and as of now the value of the home we paid for does not seem to match the quality expected.

We started the process of looking for a new build home in Feb of 2021 and went under contract with Pulte in June of 2021. House was completed in Dec 2021. Pulte was great the whole way thru. They made the process easy. Their mortgage people contacted us early in the process and guided us all the way thru that part of the process. Their design center people helped us make selections based on our "not so precise" descriptions of what we thought we liked. Best of all, their our sales rep and build manager kept us in the loop during the whole process. We probably visited the house during the build process over 100 times. During the build process, if we had questions or concerns, we contacted them and they corrected the concern or explained what would be done to correct it. Even better, after closing, we have had 2 minor issues. A cabinet door that was crooked and a flickering light. Both were handled quickly. I even asked how to do the cabinet door adjustment and they gave me a quick lesson. You know that with a new house with all the stuff that is brand new, there will be something that is just not right. We loved everything about our new home in Crown, from the quality and workmanship , to the appliances. Every promises made by our builder were met, even after we moved in, he followed up, check on us weekly to make sure everything was perfect. The sales associates were also amazing. We had a great experience.

The team was very responsive to any questions we had. If there were any changes because of supply disruption, we were notified right away.

Not a great experience

I would never build with pulte again. From rushing to get things done, to even the trades doing terrible jobs just to get it done. The home buying process in supposed to be exciting and fun, and building with pulte was nothing but miserable. Put my down payment in may 2020 closed end of December 2021 on an unfinished home. (If people are coming in your house often, that is not finished, liveable or enjoyable) You Always have to check up on them, and even when you find things wrong they still don’t fix them or if you do find something wrong they will say it is fine it’s supposed to be like that and then you bring in your own inspector to say the same thing you did and only then will they fix it. Bring in your own inspector, because I brought in my own and the house supposedly passed a plumbing final on Pulte’s end but my toilets and showers were backed up and it ended up being something with the sewer out on the street. The paint, dry wall, and baseboards all look terrible. I had to close with things not done on my house and someone is here every week to fix something. It’s far from enjoyable and the people who come to fix things then leave it a total mess for you to clean up and sometimes even cause more problems. While living in the home they hooked up my neighbors sprinklers to my meter and it was only caught because I asked why all these people kept coming into my yard all the time and what they were doing. It’s like you have to be a babysitter. People just show up unannounced and don’t call before hand or schedule something. There is literally an excuse for everything and they make you feel like you’re the problem instead of taking full accountability for everything. I could write a book on everything that went wrong and how miserable the process was and still is. If I could go back I would have never bought with Pulte. Save yourself the aggravation, time, and money. ... More

Overall the place is built alright and I can’t complain about most of it. Even though I upgraded to get the nicer package stuff the faucets, light fixtures, carpet padding, tile work were all cheap. Nice tiles but there’s not a single flat tile in the master shower. They clearly rushed the closing because there’s specks of wall paint all over the floor, trim, and cabinets. They didn’t even leave me any extra so that I could do touch ups. After closing we realized of a few smaller things were wrong and they were pretty quick to fix it. For the price it’s alright but I wish they had a few more customizable features, even if you pay extra for it. ... More

My home buying experience with Pulte, from initial inquiry through settlement and beyond, has been amazing! Relocating from out of state was easy thanks to the community sales team and construction manager. Even after my move in, the service manager helped me with all my questions about the homes features and best practices for maintaining the homes condition over the years to come. If I ever move again, Pulte will be my builder of choice!

Great and easy to work with

I know things are tough with supplies and getting qualified workers, but communication is very poor. Many things still need touched up/fixed after closing and the response is very slow. We were informed our home would take 6-8 months and it took 12. We were delighted when we knew Pulte was the builder for our new home, but ended up being disappointed

Our process with Pulte home was pretty seamless. Everyone we interacted with wanted to help make the move as stress free as possible. Patrick updated us daily and made sure we understood what each step of the move entailed. We are very appreciative for him

It was a pleasure to work with Pulte. Excellent communication from the building manager. He kept us informed throughout the entire process.

Surprised by the upgrades during the process.

The closing dept / title company were incredibly unresponsive to our communications. They gave us 12/30/2021 closing date and did not communicate or respond to any of our communications during the week prior to that date. Nothing - no notice that closing would be delayed. Then on 12/31 they email us and expected us to close immediately. We were very happy with Nathan the project manager who oversaw the construction of our home.

Unfortunately we moved it without things being complete. If we didn’t close we could have been pushed out of our home buying due to the equity in the new build that was so high due to the 13 month build time. We are left with appliances that were not selected, tile that is way uneven, no cabinet door, no screen doors, no grout in the pantry, grout in the kitchen that was stained during build by trades, carpet not secure, door hardware not complete or installed incorrectly, windows that were not cleaned and covered in materials, and the list continues. Waiting on a Michelle to call to start setting up times and dates to get it all corrected at this point. ... More

Buying process was a cinch. There were delays but nothing out of the ordinary. The construction aspect of the home left much to be desired. We have encountered numerous issues already (although Rich and the team are wonderful in their responsiveness and willingness to help) and have been disappointed that we've had to deal with these things in a new home.

Good experience through the building process. We love our new home!!

If you are a person who cares about attention to details then pulte is not your builder. Stay away from pulte unless you get good price deal

Buyer beware with these guys.

The entire process from start to end was a horrible experience. The only reason we continued with the initial purchase was because the original sales rep was fired so we assumed everything else would start to fall in place (along with loving the model home). Pulte sells a fake reality, our home has so many unnecessary issues and is not comparable to what they are selling; quantity vs quality homes. Construction was fine until then the last few months and our closing experience was horrendous (pulte made every excuse, blamed others, couldn't find keys, had incomplete final walkthroughs, etc, etc,). ...
