Our sales rep was wonderful! Our project manager was great. Everything else is average at best. Paid a premium but don't feel like we got what we paid for. Pulte also goes for the cheapest things possible to keep their profit margins high. Would not recommend as my #1 choice

Where to start? The home design and location is amazing. Quality has suffered and I keep getting the excuse that getting good people is difficult. No it is Not!! If you reward good workmanship and quality and likewise punish and reject poor quality and workmanship you will get positive results. Pulte Mortgage wonderful to work with. Sales office, nice agents over there, but workmanship, I am not happy. Even if buying new construction, my advice is always pay for a third party inspection.

Pulte did provide what was contracted and overall we are satisfied with the finished product, even though it was over 2 months late., However some , "fit and finish" and punch list items remain unresolved after over 30days. Text, emails, person-to-person contact with the "Construction Sup" have resolved only some minor issues. But remaining issues : Missing expansion joints on Concrete garage floor, excessive gaps and leaks shower door are still remain unresolved .

They really could follow up on the small fixes agreed upon MUCH better. I pretty much had to close when I did but if you have flex, do NOT close with items in your home still needing to be handled. You become a ghost.

Overall the experience was good. The end and closing was not ideal. We have several outstanding issues that still need addressed. The craftmanship of work is just ok. Mostly minor things, but when you build a brand new home, you should expect perfection. Most things are being made right, but to have this happen at the end, it less than ideal. We do love our home and are getting settled in, we just wish these things were attended to better.

we moved in in dec22 and we were very excited to move into our first new home. after some back and forth with the site manager john/lori they said they couldn’t finish our house prior to closing. thus we had an agreement that all pending work would be completed after we came back from our vacation prior to christmas. needless to say it is now feb and we still have things that need repair / replacing. it seems the builder team was spread too thin at the end of the year and we were at the losing end of it. i am currently working with the site manager at hidden oaks to fix our issues but ...

Our sales rep, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. However, it was clear that Pulte is stretching its staff too far based on the lack of responsiveness from the building crew. We have also had numerous issues crop up after move in and it has been very difficult to get a hold of the proper party to place a ticket for these issues. Also, our loan processor, Lorre, was a nightmare to work with as far as her organization and responsiveness to common questions. Our loan consultant, Ann, was awesome though! You have to keep on top of your build.Our original PM was an Apple salesman. Not experienced with his job. NOW working with the Warranty PM. You have 30 days to report problems. For a Publicly traded company they SHOULD be concerned with the BAD reviews on Pultie .com on Facebook. Should be more responsive.

We were building our first home with Pulte. Some of the experiences we encountered during the construction phase was below par. For example, they replaced the appliances to which we paid extra for with a standard ones. A huge let down was the replacement of the brick (I was told that they searched high and low and came with only ONE) I repeat "ONLY ONE" substitution was given as a choice (despite pulte being such a "big" builder). Didn’t not have a good experience with pulte mortgage, sales, design center, or the builder. We ended up using our own mortgage company because there were so many issues with pulte mortgage. We had a few didn’t issues during the building process. Once the home was completed it turn out very nice but only because we stay on the builder throughout the process. If had not been for the area and the community we probably would have cancelled our contract early in the process.

The experience of buying this home was okay. Yes beautiful house and location BUT they were extremely late. They kept pushing the closing date back and back and at the same time the interest rates were going up and up. That of course did not benefit us at all. The people that showed us the final result, Mark was awesome, very nice guy. he was very helpful.

My Pulte home experience after one and a half month of ownership

We struggled with turning on some essential utilities such as Internet, Gas, problem with dish washer. We still have major issues with sprinkler system leaks that wasted thousand of gallons of water, a front window does not shut, no hot water to our laundry machine. It is difficult to contact Pulte home warranty team. However, the house itself is pretty solid against IAn storm, just 2 of our roof ridges were blown and a few minor items outside the house.

We had a great construction manager…at the end of the build. The first one we had was not do great. We did not feel he was aware of what was going on during construction, rarely emailed updates and when we did get them we got one sentence. After he left and we were assigned someone who actually cared about the process, things looked much better but we were at the end when this happened. Nate is top notch as a construction manager. Pulte is lucky to have him

We have been closed and in our home for almost 50 days and have yet to receive shower glass and missing a grate in our room housing our AHU. We were originally told it will take 25 days to receive the glass and have received no real update. We have no idea when we will receive this glass. We were under the assumption when buying a new build home, that home would be complete.

Having a new home built can be exciting and stressful. Future home owners need to separate the supply chain and work force factors from the team who is on site building a new home. During construction we had changes in subcontractors, as well as, Pulte representatives. The ONE constant Pulte representative for us was Gina.
