Please revise your new home very well. I had paint issues, kitchen items installed crooked, carpet issues, electricity issues etc. The sales team experience was amazing but construction wise was not.

Repair of discovered defects taking too long to fix Missing appliances and fixtures is taking too long to fulfill. We have closed escrow 2 months ago and still waiting items to be fixed/filled out.

You were so excited to get our new home, unfortunately it’s been nothing but disaster after disaster since we have moved in. We received our keys in April, we still do not have a stove microwave combo and it is June. The tapers did a horrific job as there are lines in my ceiling that could be confused as off-white beams. Our dishwasher doesn’t dry the dishes, our bathtub was leaking before we even stepped foot in it , we’ve had multiple issues, our bathroom tile is changing colors, It’s the intricate details that We were sold on from our friends and unfortunately it’s not living up to the name. The loan officer should not be working for Pulte or anyone else for that matter. I was asked multiple times to turn in the same paperwork week after week only to be told she couldn’t find it and I had to tell her to scroll up to see the documents on her own system. We got to the point where we were going to walk away because she had us convinced that we would have been disqualified if we didn’t continue to send the paperwork in that she had had three times before. Barri our office sales rep literally came over and cleaned out the inside of our island before Pulte put the top on even though we asked multiple times for it to be cleaned out they were not going to do it and didn’t because the counter top showed up one day when my husband was there and they were just gonna put it on top. That’s beyond unprofessional and unsanitary. I’m really hoping to move forward that’s really hard to still be excited about paying Over a half million dollars for a home that has so many preventable issues. ... More

Overall experience was good, however there are certain things in my home which are still not working like some power outlets. They will say that just keep a note of it and call the after sale service to resolve the issue. My point is why not have it properly looked before handover the keys. These are some major things which people use and can't wait for a year to get it resolved. Also when we ask anyone near the house who are still working on remaining house, they simply say now we are out of the house can't do much, you need to talk to the after sale service. Some items such as door locks were also not properly checked before the close. I would certainly recommend but please ensure everything in the house is working properly before taking the keys and ask them to make it right, right away. ... More

Good buying experience, but not responding to workmanship warranty requests.

I believe the level of responsiveness to issues should be improved.

I was in overseas and could not get the inspection check. Site manager has did the inspection and checked everything is good, but I have issues with door locks for garage door, bedroom door, and ground floor bath door has closet lock, and some other issues were reported via email to site manager but no response. Not satisfied because if pulte can’t take care of minor issues then I doubt for major.

While the Pulte sales and the Pulte title groups were exceptionally good, the finish quality and the HVAC work in the home was sub-par and in some cases incomplete. Calls for warranty work were also sub-par.

Painting was not done properly don’t look like s as new house Stones on the fire place falling apart Electric outlets not working Concrete pavement infront of the house not done properly I was told at closing that pressure wash will be done and they would clean all the leaves accumulated in the back, it was never done I had to do it myself by spending $500

I believe, given the state of the housing market, and the supply chain issues, it weakened Pulte’s ability to provide the product and quality home that we were expecting. It has been and still is a challenge to get a good quality finished, and completed home.

We like our new home, but the quality and attention to detail in finish is definitely lacking.

Ensuring that items that needed to be addressed in a timely manner did not happen. Had to keep following up myself instead of them just taking care if the few issues there were.

In all fairness, we had a concern which was to have possession of the keys by a certain date, Pulte tried its best to relatively get the keys in our hands though not exactly the date expected but close. I expected Pulte to be more responsive to complaints that are being discovered after closing, it's actually a disappointment for me at the moment. I expected better quality work than what was delivered, being an experienced individual myself in the field of construction. the quality and finishes is not good for what it costs

The quality of the home built out was to put it mildly some of the worst workmanship I have ever seen. Very disappointing to have spent so much money for the final product. Started a punch list for items to be remediated in the future.

Sadly the quality of the subcontractors’ work was shoddy and needed a specialist team to be engaged to fix the myriad issues in all rooms of the house. The house was nowhere near ready on our “celebration walk through”. Covid supply chain issues aside, there were too many shortcuts taken in the building of our home. We still have unresolved issues 2 months after closing.

Everyone has been very nice and Daniel has always been helpful and has responded to our questions and issues in a timely manner. Our complaints are with the quality of finish work and painting that leave a lot to be desired. We know everyone is busy and on time schedules but this is the last home we planned to buy and really didn't want "projects" when it was "move-in ready", plus we invested a lot of money to buy the home! Dealing with paperwork online (with people in Colorado) was confusing for us... we are not up with modern technology and we were often very frustrated with the process. We love the location and our neighbors and wish we didn't have issues with what has been mentioned. ... More

We appreciate that we were able to move into our new house; however, many items were not completed upon closing. The builder has not been responsive to the work promised, and now we have to go through the warranty process. Lastly, the builder did not include the option of purchasing a refrigerator.

Jennifer was great. Quality? One example, there is a hole in the wall beside a switch plate. I could go on.

Our experience included a lot of ups and downs. We understand lack of craftsmen and loss of personnel had a lot to do with our experience. Responsiveness from our salesman after we signed the purchase agreement was pretty bad. We only received great response time when he needed something signed. Our new building manager and director were awesome, but there are still some items in our home that require attention. The garage isn’t finished, our floors squeak and creak worse than our old house that was over 50 yearly old. Holes were left in the walls, the carpet is unraveling, our stone isn’t complete on the front of the house, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom is a dud we can’t install a fan because the electrical components weren’t installed correctly with the build. We had a gas leak and a water leak due to the craftsmen rushing to complete the job. Our home wasn’t properly cleaned and some cabinet drawers are lopsided and the spacing for the cabinets isn’t consistent. We also have air coming in through the back door and the desk in the Pulte planning center is also lopsided. Everything was great except for the fact that we have not yet received our appliances we purchased through Pulte. Also, no one has communicated when we might be getting them. We have reached out multiple times but have been ignored. This is not how this should be handled. I expected more from a large company like Pulte.

Both Sales Agent and Field Manager were very responsive to questions and concerns. Calls were returned promptly and property was available when I needed access to meet with decorators. The field manager was amazing to work with; he kept his word and delivered on his promise. He seemed to care about the Pulte name and brand; ensured that constructions and inspections issues were addressed satisfactorily; and permits and certificate of occupancy documents were in order prior to closing. Workmanship, on the other hand, was lacking. As an example, owners are admonished to have a whole house humidifier. Yet none of the prep work was done for the installation. So, it will be more costly, time consuming and inconvenient to install one. Manufacturer's grade products are likely not the best. My furnace is so loud, I feel like I'm sleeping under the motor of a running train in Grand Central Station. I could go on ad nauseum with complaints. The long and the short, however, is that, from all appearances quality and functionality were sacrificed for glam and expediency. ... More
