The house had a lot of issues before closing, some of then were supposed to get fixed and they never completed them, we had to submit a second request.

Overall the buying/building experience was very good. Sales and the field manager were great. The design studio experience was too rushed and the designer was ok, not great. Now that we have moved in, we found issues that there teams should have noticed and resolved. We now await how they do in fixing the issues. Our final rating will depend on how they respond.

I appreciate quality workers are hard to come by during this time but I was really disappointed at the quality of work and attention to detail…painting, staining, etc. we paid for all black, beautiful hardware throughout the house and almost every door knob has paint on it. Happy to be in the house but it’s clear at the end they just want to rush through things and close. I’d imagine Pulte would save a ton of money if things didn’t have to be redone 2 and 3 times…

The overall experience of building our home was exciting and good. However the amount of issues we’ve had to deal with during our walk through before closing and trying to get the issues fixed with in the house after closing has been challenging. We have several dry wall issues, had carpet issues, a cracked window (I haven’t gotten an answer about if that’s going to be repaired), stair railings etc. I’ve been in my house for around five weeks. I’ve been working on trying to get these issues addressed since our closing date.

I feel the quality of my home is okay. I think it might be hard to keep an eye on all the building going on at one time. I’m used to custom home builders, Not tract home builders Unfortunately something gets lost in the wash.

Very nice home floor plans & options/interior selections, great structural framing, but poor finish work: you can see drywall seams, dings/gouges in door trim, poor paint coverage on trim (can see nail holes). Won’t do it right the first time, but can do it under warranty after you move in (maybe?)!

The sales process went well; however, there should be better explanation of options and what exactly each option includes (or doesn't). The model home included some features that were not marked as options but were not included in my home's plan. For example, I purchased the optional spindles for the stairway, only to find out later, than only half the stairs would have spindles, although the complete stairway in the model had them. The home itself is beautiful, and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, follow-up deteriorated rapidly after closing. I understand there are labor and supply ...

Both Dale and Dylan Pulte’s Superintendents were great. Quality of work for the price was average or below. Had a house built previously for $100,000 more, and quality was 1,000% better.

My foreman, Frank! He did everything that he could to ensure the home was complete. A lot things were out of his control and other concerns were not offered by Pulte such as pocket doors in tight places.

This home building experience was different than my previous two. It seemed that Pulte was more concerned with meeting deadlines than making sure the homeowner was happy. We have submitted several repair request that could have been avoided if the closing date wasn't the number one priority. Overall we are happy to be in our home but extremely dissatisfied with the process.

The home was delivered to me 6 weeks later than original closing date with so many problems. It is 8 weeks and I am still getting things fixed in the home. To give an example the door knows were placed on backwards and I was stuck in the bathroom for over 1 hour. I finally got the refrigerator and it is also broken . The floors were full of paint (fixed and cleaned they look great now). So many other issues who puts in a bath tub without sealing around it. The AC was broken. Among so many other issues. They are fixing everything but taking time from work is not conducive anymore

This is my third Pulte home. I would have liked to have seen more flexibility with choices and changes. For example, we wanted to make a change to the tile on top of our spa, after the home was started, and we were told no. The pool company was willing to make the change since it was started....but Pulte sales said no. Pulte needs to be more flexible and offer some higher quality upgrades.

Some features listed as upgrades could be of better quality (cabinets). Paint coverage could better throughout. Instruction on home amenities such as how do you turn on the fireplace? Should leave paint for owners so they can touch up various paint issues (interior wall and trim and outside wall and trim) so contact with customer service is not only reduced but issues are corrected quicker.

Received a brand new home that doesn't look new at all. A lot of details missing, on top of a terrible paint job on both the inside and outside of the house. Entrance to the house was never pressure washed by the time we close on the property and lets not even talk about the terrible cleaning job both inside and outside the house. Truly disappointed, and already to late!
