Everyone seemed nice until they started delaying the date of closure. We had to wait 3 extra months. It feels like the house was rushed. Two days after we moved in, the cloth rack in the master bedroom broke (this had the same amount of clothes that I hung in my apartment) that speaks a lot about quality. Less than a month after move-in, the stairs has cracks already, the drywall in the basement has dents (noticed this on day 1), the vent was not open, had to call them to come fix it, part of the exterior design fell off (still waiting for them to fix it), the guest shower head is falling off (this was noticed 2 weeks after moving in, and no one has ever used that shower). This just goes to say that the quality is substandard and the workmanship is questionable. Unfortunately, I am not impressed at all. However, I'll say their customer service reps respond promptly. its just sad that a house that is barely 3 months old has so many issues already. ... More

Very responsive and pro-active; had a tight completion schedule to meet and they met it! Only minor issues had to be addressed post-closing, and they jumped on them very quickly and completely . Our builder Shaun was definitely looking out for our interests and kept us informed all along the way. Outstanding job by the whole Pulte team!

Overall happy with the build quality and materials, but very unhappy that I have been waiting over 5 months for a window which was broken. This is very poor performance from Pulte.

My husband and I were ready to retire and had checked out other builders. Their work was not even close when it came to the details and options provided by Pulte as well as great customer service. From when we chose our home to move in was just a little over 6 months. We purchased a spec home which was about to start being built with all the bells and whistles and upgrades that we loved). Pulte made it pretty easy to buy our forever home.

While our salesperson and field manager were very nice and pleasant to work with, we were very disappointed in the workmanship on our home. For the price we would have expected a much better job from the trades

The list of issues is extremely long. I will save everyone the time and just say, I will never build another home with Pulte.

Our overall purchase experience was quite positive. The home is beautiful and the community is nice. The sales team was great in helping us through the process. The craftsmanship so far seems at the level I would expect or better. The materials are quite good. The post sale follow up items have been very slow to complete (2 months so far), so that is an area to improve. I would recommend a friend or family member to purchase a property from Pulte.

I understand in this economic climate there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" with subcontractors. A week before close you look at the house and think certainly it won't be ready. They then rush to close because they have to meet their month-end quotas. Two days before close we do a walkthrough ("Build Quality Celebration") and point out a lot of cosmetic, attention to detail issues. You then don't get another opportunity to inspect the house. I close and it turns out a number of walk-through items weren't completed, such as a missing outlet cover, trash in the garage, trim separating from the wall and doors not flush. After a week of no response after requesting "Customer Service," the initial response is these should have been addressed at walk-through, anything post-close is a "maintenance issue" and "wait a year for the house to settle." In addition to missed walk-through items, almost immediately I start discovering stuff like a wall of outlets not working (wiring issue), two doors not flush and lifting off their hinges, and a bathroom drawer collapsed because the back of the track was never secured to the cabinet. I'm told those aren't structural. But minor things really make you start to question major things. They blame the subs, say they use the same subs as other builders, say this is common to all new homes...yet these are all things that would have been caught if their construction supervisor had come in after the subs and inspected the work. It makes you question what quality assurance processes are in place. The starting place never seems to be resolution but the knee-jerk reaction seems to consistently be to throw the contract legalese back at you...which is effort that would be better directed in addressing the issue. I'm not "dissatisfied" but they also make it easy to not love them. ... More

The houses are great and location the only thing I can share is the finish detail work upon turn over to home owners.I do understand the nature of Buliding and construction business nothing is perfect but finished product and detail work it’s a must other than my expectations and experience so far so good .Thank you

Disappointment with the quality of the work through the house. It looked rushed and sloppy. Have had a difficult time having them come out to complete the rest of the stuff that was not completed before closing.

Had a horrible experience from the point of closing. Lot of pending issues on the closing day - no communication/update on when those pending issues will be addressed. I understand the supply chain issues, but even the communication on acknowledging open issues has been horrible. Only grace is the support team who at least are now communicating once in a while when the update comes. Worst of all - I was asked to submit review/survey on individuals I have worked with during buying/construction/mortgage etc. And my comments were as it is shared with the individual and now, I am getting literally no support from them on the numerous pending issues. One of the worst new home purchases maybe because of Covid-19? I went with Pulte because of the name. We are hoping our Pulte home will be a good one for our Family. Worst thing about this purchase was lack in communication from the builder and feeling pressure for us to meet deadlines Pulte imposed on us.Luckily Nick our contractor smoothed all our worries away helping every step of the way! He was capable, friendly and payed attention to detail. We were also fortunate to have a great team at Pulte mortgage. Sarah and Matt were always polite and professional. They really know their stuff. The design center was awesome too, never felt rushed or pushed into anything. Pulte doesn’t offer a lot of standard upgrades, so it can be very easy to spend a fortune.Our home turned out beautiful with the exceptional help of our design team, Finally , Bridget at PGP title was calm and helpful at such a high stress close. She went out of her way to make sure our signing of documents was simply. Thank you to all of you. As far as Pulte, they lacked in communication with us and the employees. When our closing date was postponed, the sales person nor Nick knew and were eagerly waiting to give us our keys.We were promised August- October closing, but didn’t till December. I felt like they were trying to sell the home out from under us. They had so many demands placed on us to close yet they could say and do whatever they wanted. It was stressful not knowing when to close on our old house. Lack of communication. Once moved in we noticed the agenda was to get the close and not deliver a perfect new home. One example is the garage door. It’s painted 2 different colors and I have to live like that until I have the time to request the paint team to come back. The blinds I paid extra for, had tiny holes in them and our kitchen cabinets, which were upgraded were hung wrong. You can see the dishes through the front cracks. I should not have to request people to come back. They should have done it before closing. Now I have to figure out how to get them out here. I hope my review was helpful. ... More

We were completely dissatisfied with our experience. We went with Pulte because my parents had built with them years ago and had a phenomenal experience and we believe that the quality compared to other builders was better. Unforutnately, we had a completely opposite experience and probably will never build with Pulte again. The communication throughout the entire experience was terrible. There were many homes in the neighborhood started way after ours, that moved much more quickly than ours. We believe Pulte oversold and couldn't keep up with their projects. It seems Pulte continued to sell and sell and sell and was less than concerned about their current customers. Also, our closing date was pushed back because of poor workmanship on our home; carpet had to be completely reinstalled, master shower had to be taken down to the studs and redone, severe dip in the kitchen floor that was brought to our field manager's attention very very early but not fixed. My brother built with MI down the street and the experience they had compared to us was not even comparable. Overall, completely disappointing. ... More

I am a first time homebuyer and builder. The experience with our Sales Rep, Loan officer, and project manager was a very satisfying experience.

If our lease wasn't up in our apartment we would not have signed to close. 2 months after the final walk through, we are still missing an electrical plate, we still have 1 wrong outlet in the laundry room that we need to plug in the freezer, a floor tile still has the color and brand printed on it, the bottom trim still has the color of the grout all over the trim and we still don't have the right thermostat in the house. I had such high hopes with the Pulte reputation.

We had closing on 1st week of November 2021 until now we requested to install new shower glass door & rods in the bathroom, Kitchen Crown which haven’t installed even single time since closing. In the house many of things left to fix which we are mentioned in many times in emails to field manager but I haven’t got response back from him. Those issues we showed to field manager on closing day as well. I have no idea why he don’t concentrate on those issues. He just solved 1-2 issues only in 5 work orders he created. We paid for all this work then also. We are unsatisfied with his work.

Excellent experience starting with the Sales Associate. As more Pulte people joined the process the same level of excellent service was provided. The Pulte Field Manager and his team are extremely responsive to minor issues we've had since we moved in. Highly recommend Pulte Homes, Mortgage, and Title companies.

We had a great experience with our builder. We lived in a different state while our house was being built and the communication we received via phone and e-mail was always fast and reliable. We would recommend Pulte to future buyers.

There were issues which were noted done during the demo and was promised to be fixed before certain date. However till date those issues are still issues and not yet fixed. No or zero communication/follow ups on those open items. Lack of responsibility in addressing the issues post closing.

The entire staff and team was transparent and attentive throughout the building and sales process. All of our inquires were answered in a timely manner. Very happy with the outcome.

Pulte proved to be a solid builder who provided a great product. I wish communication was a little better throughout the process and that the subcontractors were supervised closer, however I would happily buy another home from Pulte.

This was my third home built within the Pulte Corporation. A very interesting process, since COVID was at its peak. However, this experience seemed more aggressive with certain aspects with the closing process. Just was not accustomed to certain lack of professionalism and communication. But in the end, I was satisfied.

The Pulte team was always very accommodating and helpful. Even in the midst of crazy shortages and higher than normal markets.

Enjoyed our experience working with Pulte! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new build.

This is my first Pulte Home. When building a new house you are naturally concerned about the builder. Do your homework and you will find Pulte it right up there with the best! I'm thrilled with my new home and I have build 5....all with different builders....
