So far we have been mostly disappointed in the craftsmanship rather than materials. Attention to detail in workmanship and quality control needs improvement. To date, post-closing warranty issues have been addressed.

Beautiful Home with Issues Along the Way

We love our home, I should start with that. We are so happy with the location, lot, and upgrades that we chose. The floorplan is perfect for our growing family. However, we had many issues along the way. Our PM was difficult to deal with and did not want to help us with problems that his contractors caused (hole cut in the ceiling, cafe light installed in the wrong spot). This led to a lack of trust and shaken confidence in Pulte and our PM. Thankfully, everything turned out alright after we had to fight for these issues to be resolved.

New home owners need to make sure they write down all of their change order numbers and colors and Pulte comes back and takes care of all of the little things that you didn’t see when you move in, be persistent on that. Other than that Patti and Jeff have been very awesome with all the help that they’ve given us

Be sure that you know what you’re going to get for your final product. Our home was to include a two car garage. Due to poor grading of the lot, extra stairs were needed to get into the house through the garage. And therefore two cars do not fit in our garage. And Pulte is not willing to compensate us for the loss of value for our home.

Mortgage team stretched the time unnecessarily, they were keep on asking the same documents multiple times. The hand over/construction manager team doesn’t fix the items properly as they promised, the issues are still existing. The sales team Ms Sara is the best employee and she was 100% supportive. No one visited to hear back on open issues since the closing.

Check out your landscape.and irrigation very poor workmanship. Sprinklers set to run extremely long. My first water bill is over $350. The cleaning crew did a very poor job of cleaning up the place. All the floors were dirty and some of the tile still have glue on them hard to remove. Overall the potention is here for a good home, quality of workmanship need to be observed and corrected before delivery to customer, The staff is nice.

Even though it’s a new home, get a home inspector. We did and they found several things that Pulte missed or didn’t make sure they were corrected.

Sales and contractor as well as design studio is not sync in between. So lot of communication gap. Material used for build this home is not as expected, lot of material things are not finished in our home. No proper finishing of base board paint grout and door handles. Our first floor is totally vibrating a lot when walking slowly. Our floor is EVP still we fill when we walk it is not properly installed.

It’s been almost a month since we moved in to our new built home by Pulte, tons of issues, electrical, missing finishes, poor quality and issues never resolved after multiple inquires during build. Pulte hires sub-contractors where Quality work is never checked by Pulte construction manager, tons of things were overseeing and not completed, found many problems after living almost a month. Breakers kept tripping, missing light fixtures, holes on under eaves the size that birds could a home inside attic, walls not straight, too many to list

Love my place, especially location. Was told while originally looking how they use high quality products and make sure everything is installed to perfection. I have paint splatters on my counter tops and floor that was never cleaned up before closing. My floor is starting to lift in places and I only moved in a couple weeks ago. The title company was unprofessional and not good at replying to questions or informing me of steps. The constructions managers, especially Paul and Bryan were amazing!

All in all the experience was good. This is a second, eventual retirement snowbird home. The communication was ok but I did not push. Closed in June and will not return to the home until this winter. Can’t speak on workmanship because we have yet to spend a day there. Construction managers were very knowledgeable, sales rep was great

The design and layout of the home is quite nice and met our needs. The quality of workmanship however, is lacking. Numerous issues with paint errors, paint spatters on floors, walls crooked, baseboard trim joints poorly finished, and several other issues. Light fixtures in floor plans that are not where they should be. Electrical appliances with damage, upgraded features like recessed light fixtures and kitchen cabinets are really just "builder grade" quality.

Overall craftsmanship of the home was poor. Can tell everything is mass produced and rushed. Minimal attention to detail. Had to do multiple warranty visits which was a slow process with slow response times, had to escalate everything. Pricing for some of the upgrades were out of control. WIsh we had some different upgrade options and ability to change some things, like kitchen pantry and closet shelfing. The process of actually buying the home, closing, and sales team were great!

Homes layout is a hilltop which has a nice layout, however the quality of the home is poor, paint had many issues, drywall texture was cracking was supposed to be fixed before closing and only some of it was fixed. Sewer smell coming from all the sinks.

Had a good reputuation of Pulte Homes at the time of signing up the new house. After seeing the type of construction they're doing I can't recommand Pulte to any. There are hiring cheap labor and quality of work is not professional

We moved into a Pulte home a few of months ago. The buying process was straightforward, although the information requested when asked simple questions was less than ideal. There were many cosmetic finish issues, stairs that creak so loud (not some of them) but most of them, floor creaks that are apparent, touch ups to paint that are noticeable, overspray of mud/paint in places like the tile in the shower areas, and more. Just did not expect so much "imperfect" work in a new construction. I filed the work orders for the cosmetic issues about 3 weeks ago and I believe they are advising that ...

The sales office staff are terrific. Helpful and honest. The construction staff that completed walkthroughs were terrific as well. Again, helpful and honest. Corporate Pulte is not trustworthy. We worked with the Sales Office to set a closing date. One month later, we heard from our attorney that we were going to be penalized $16k for failing to meet the closing date, ie the date that the condo was supposedly completed. We never received a letter notifying us of a closing date. They justified their actions stating that “the contract stated that we needed to close on the completion date”. ...
