This home building experience has been the least enjoyable of the last 3 I have been through. Quality control and workmanship were horrible and 6+ weeks later, I’m still dealing with all of the issues upon move in. I had to have a meeting with the Customer Care Specialist yesterday to go through the laundry list of punch list items yet to be addressed. This takes time out of my busy work schedule. Our ceiling seams and wall seams were less than professional. Pulte sent APV to address. The APV tech informed the only way to correct the ceiling mismatch was to have the complete ceiling texture reworked. It's been 2 weeks and no followup from a Pulte rep.

Having a tough time getting people to fix urgent issues such as a leaky roof. The service calls keep getting cancelled. Warranty means nothing if you can't service it.

The lack of communication

If our lease wasn't up in our apartment we would not have signed to close. 2 months after the final walk through, we are still missing an electrical plate, we still have 1 wrong outlet in the laundry room that we need to plug in the freezer, a floor tile still has the color and brand printed on it, the bottom trim still has the color of the grout all over the trim and we still don't have the right thermostat in the house. I had such high hopes with the Pulte reputation.

Pulte is very responsive up until they get your money. Poor workmanship and terrible customer service after closing. They are not responsive to the needs of their buyers. Need to go over the house with a fine-tooth comb and demand everything, no matter how small be repaired.

Feel as though accountability and quick action is lacking with basic warranty issues and it requires a heavy push to get things done with the construction and warranty folks. Seem to blame others instead of accepting responsibility and completing the work correctly the 2nd time.

After living in our home for 6 weeks we are disappointed with Pulte builders. Their advertising/marketing is a lie. Poor quality of materials used, poor workmanship, subcontractors do not take pride in their work. Interior work looks as if Pulte hired 8th grade students. Poor choice for included appliances, the cheapest money can buy. We did not have a choice to supply our own appliances. Customer Care is non responsive. I will not recommend Pulte to anyone.

There are many issues that we have found after closing and one that is still open prior to closing. I have followed up with several emails about my kitchen vent cover, drawer and lazy Suzanne and no-one has set a date to come out to fix it. Prior to closing we were told it would be around January 7 (we closed on 12/28). It's now 2/15 and 3 emails following up and nothing back. The missing tiles in our bathroom shower is still outstanding and we haven't heard back after the tiler came out. The Pulte home buying experience started out to be very positive. Unfortunately, the craftsmanship and attention to detail was mediocre at best. We felt the builder was more interested in closing several home before the end of the year than actually doing quality work. After moving in and speaking with other residents in the Norwood Chase neighborhood, we see that most of the 33 homes are experiencing similar concerns. Pro : the buying experience was great. Paper work, underwriters, deadlines etc. Con's : The vendors they use. Poor craftsmanship. Attention to details are not something they check nor supervisor. Doors are horribly painted, missing parts, wrong screw colors and installed incorrectly. They installed a horrible and obvious broken, door and patched it up. We moved in in June. When we did our move in inspection there were lots of issues that needed to be addressed. On the day we moved in we were asked to wait 14 days to make sure all issues were addressed. Need less to say none of the issues were done and the guy in charge refuses to answer our calls. We have several places that needs paint touch up, repairs on the house and have yet been able to get ahold of anyone. We were told to do a warranty claim. Which takes time within it self. Very disappointed in the quality of work that they "take pride" in.
