My home buying experience with Pulte was relatively painless considering today's Market. They had minimal delays and did not skimp on building materials like I have seen other horror stories with from other builders. I am 100% happy with my choice in going with Pulte.

Don't take their word for promises, they don't follow through!!!!

If they used a higher quality of materials, I think they would have less repair issues.

It was a good experience overall.

Overall it was nice experience getting a new home, but I was expecting a better quality in terms of workmanship specially the issues of HVAC and vent could have been taken care by Pulte quality inspector itself. Good part is they addressed all issues and concerns before the closing

From start to finish of the entire process was made seamless through the professionalism and attention to detail from the entire Pulte group.

Community- Friendly neighbors, Amenities- did not get a chance to check so far. Commute- Poor. Add extra 10-15 minutes each way during rush hour to navigate to community from HWY 380. It is worse on weekends. Timely completion- VERY POOR. Took 11 months to complete( Not 100% complete) to close. Promised to complete in six months by sales people when signing. Sales Experience: Do your home work before picking the options, the day you sign you have to select Structural options. Stick to your budget, don't get carried away by looking at the model homes. There is a reason why they look so good. they are done by professionals. We dont live like that everyday. So be practical and get only what you need. Options are not cheap, but avoids the hassle of doing it your self later. Design options- Very limited and very expensive. But high quality materials. try to get the design options at least a month before your Design center appointment and compare prices for the options, you might save a lot getting it done outside. I bet all builders are similar. Google for the options and price list. Construction- VERY POOR QUALITY. you can see the quality when you visit the site during the construction stage. Save your self a heart attack and stay away until the home is ready if you decide to buy here any way. The site was never cleaned,You can tell if the Builder is good by looking at a construction site, if it is not kept clean it eventually gonna reflect in how good your home is. In my case the communication from the construction side was vey little. I had to call, leave message, text to know if i can come see the house and meet the field supervisors. I was not even notified that the construction is beginning eventually after almost 6 months of signing the contract, yes you read it right 6 months. Dont believe what is advertised on the site about how they keep you updated about the progress in Owners entry, in my case they had two updates, Began construction and completed construction. Build Quality: I would rate it very poor in my case. Driveway and walkways chipped everywhere before closing. Landscaping- very poor quality work, water logging everywhere( eventually it is going to effect your foundation if drainage is not good).I paid more than $500 to get a reputed Inspector to get the house inspected right before closing and the report horrified me. Poor insulation, Poor grading, Electrical issues,Poor flooring, Poor Insulation.Damaged garage doors, Poor paint job. When it was escalated to the Supervisors they assured everything will be ready before closing. in my case they scheduled my final walk through to inspect the house 2 hours before closing and closing was 30+ miles from the site, so you do the math.During the final walk through there were several workers finishing things in the house. AND THE FINAL ICING ON THE CAKE, After we closed the house and returned to sales office to collect the keys to our new home, it is closed and when we contacted the construction supervisors where are our keys( they promised they will wait no matter how late it is to welcome us home) they said we left the keys on the kitchen island and the house is unlocked:(. Now that should explain how good my experience with this Builder is.They care about selling but not delivering. I dont know if it is the same with other home owners in this community. My Recommendation - Personally, I would never buy from this builder again. FYI- after one month of staying here none of the uncompleted jobs were addressed. i am still living with broken cabinets, scraped paint , no working power outlets in baths, half painted garage doors, unusable back yard with dead sod and water logged, mice digging through garage floors, the list goes on. ... We felt very supported throughout the process and feel that we received a quality home.

Watch any deals they offer, those tend to disappear! Quality of paint and trim work is extremely poor. The painters will paint over dirt and anything on walls without wiping them down first. House looks great if you aren't one to pay attention to details.

Everything was great except for the fact that we have not yet received our appliances we purchased through Pulte. Also, no one has communicated when we might be getting them. We have reached out multiple times but have been ignored. This is not how this should be handled. I expected more from a large company like Pulte.

Everything was great during the sales process. Some quality issues in the workmanship were noticed as soon as we moved in and the responsiveness of Pulte has not been the best.

It's good to stay in Pulte but there are some teething issues.

Pulte has great floor plans and beautiful model homes, however, the workmanship in our home is lacking. If you build with Pulte, stay on top of your build.

I still haven’t moved into the home because I’ve spent my days cleaning a mess that shouldn’t be there. I was told that the blue tape items that we put in during the celebration meeting would be taken care of by the morning of the closing. I came on the morning and Jeff told me that the painter couldn’t get to it yet and told me to go close and come back and that it would be. I gave him my garage code, came back the following day to most of it completed still some not and a dirty house which I had to sweep up and clean myself.

Alex and Steve continues to provide quality service. We are very happy we went with Pulte to build our home.

Great home buying experience with Pulte. Overall Good customer service and professionalism. Few items were on back order and could not finish the house on time.?but it could be due to CoVID too.? Will buy again from Pulte

Pulte was a good company. I remember my friends houses 15 years ago with Pulte, they were excellent in quality. Now, in my own experience, the quality is from low to average. They are not into details anymore, you will see excess grouting, floor tiles are not even, walls corners are not straight electric switch are opposite and other stuff. This are the things that you see, the question is, how about the things that you don’t see, like the structure, framings, etc. I’m just hope and pray that everything is within standards.

Pulte homes are unique

The experience from signing agreements to closing was great. From sales, field engineer and customer support manager, all of them are some professional and helpful. Glad bought properties from Pulte.

Pulte picks such inefficient products to put in these new and costly homes. Items such as the hot water tank, garbage disposal, a/c, etc - they’re an appropriate size for an apartment, not $400k+ homes. It’s obnoxious to spend so much money on a new home only to have to deal with “below grade” products after the fact. It’s like pulling the wool over buyers eyes, who would ever think that a new home wouldn’t get the products sufficient enough to run their home? The workmanship is also sub-par. All the contracted work is slapped up there with much care on the end product. There is so much paint that was carelessly shipped up on my new floors. It’s just all very disappointing.
