I am very upset at what happened at closing. Up to this point had a great experience with everyone that we had encountered. WE did the walkthrough and labeled A LOT of things with blue tape. Supervisor asked us not to take the survey until he had a chance to fix the things that were tagged. Went to sign paperwork and came back to check on the status of the repairs. Nothing had been worked on but all of the tape was off. Called our realtor and she called the supervisor who told her that he was in the house while repairs were made, and it clearly was not. The home we bought was to be completed between Jan. and April with Feb as their goal. We closed June 12th. The interior of our brand new home was really dirty. We found shoddy workmanship everywhere we looked. There are holes in cabinets that expose the insulation. A week before our close we were at the property and heard a bulldozer hit our AC Unit. It knocked it off it's foundation and slammed it against the house. It was dented all over. We called and complained and we were told they would take care of everything. Our experience is this. Structurally, the house is great. However, the quality of the trade's workmanship is poor. For example, painters and crown/floor molding. Pulte took no steps to protect our LVP flooring. Leaving marks on the floors throughout the house. Stains on the carpeting. The painters were notorious for over-spray. Over-spray on floors and porches. Several other items not mentioned here.

Very disappointed in Pulte’s response to water in my basement

I have owned my Pulte home less than 45 days and was, overall, quite pleased with it. Then we had a moderate rainfall and my basement was flooded. Mike, our Customer Care representative, came out to bring fans and a dehumidifier, which were greatly appreciated. Mike took the cover off our sump pump, and discovered that the well had several large pieces of rock, brick, and wood, which had apparently blocked the pump and caused it to malfunction. Love the design of the home, love most of the materials used, but I would only recommend going with this builder or any other builder if you having nothing but time, patience, and not be in a hurry to complete. That being said… The build took 1 year and 1/2 years to complete. Had I not paid beyond full price for this home considering the current market, I would have been more forgiving and flexible with the quality of the home. The buying experience was great. The builder, Ryan, kept us updated along the way and the mortgage team was very helpful. The overall layout and quality of workmanship has been great. However, since we’ve moved in, the warranty team has been very unresponsive for the issues we have had. We have been in the house almost two months and have had constant AC issues. We love the design and structure of our house. Unfortunately, the finish quality leaves a lot to be desired. Pulte pushed us to close, but when we moved in the house was not complete, and there were many issues. We initially had a list of 20 items that had to be either completed or fixed. There are many high spot on wall and the ceilings where drywall was not finished for a high quality home. Trim finishing was poorly completed and caulking was used to hide some of the poor craftsmanship completed. A report was generated on 6/5/23 and I have not spoken to a Customer Care Manager as of 6/29/23. Wall and ceiling imperfection was noted on the walk through prior to closing.

My husband and I were so excited to move into our new-build Pulte home, but the excitement was stolen from us when the week we closed, as the place was a mess. Scratched floors, splattered paint on the floors and countertops, direr windows, missing pieces to blinds, loose siding on the house, and a few others. Pulte cares about their quality, but the contractors they hire do not. We have lived here for a month now, and they are still fixing a few things, but the home is beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and we look forward to making this our life-long home.

Sloppy work/ poor craftsmanship. It feels and looks very rushed. There are holes in walls that we are finding in random places that were missed during walk through, globs of paint everywhere on the walls even after pointing out and fixing over 50 during walk through, uneven cabinets etc. They also have an awful warranty. Flooring isn't even covered! We have only been in our home 2 months and the floor is already coming up and they are saying it’s not covered under warranty.

Rushed to do walk through as the cleaners scurry out of front door. Expected to do a thorough walk through by myself, not advised to bring others to help. Many missed issues and then no further clean up after painters and others had to come in to fix the things seen on first walk through. Very sloppy, many paint spots all over carpet and tile. Build quality could have been lot better compared to neighboring home builders. Abit High price for what I got. Mortgage APR deal details are not properly shared prior to purchase.. mortgage and sales team wasted my closing costs credit .. very very bad issues observed pre-inspection.. ready to move in home is there in market for 3.5 months and lot of thin airline cracks seen inside and outside . Too much delay on fixing minor items which missed fixture during closure.. service and build quality could have been lot better..

Had a good customer experience overall. Very disappointed with the quality of my home. You can tell things were done rushed with no care how it would turn out. Painting throughout the house was horrible. Hard to believe that was done professionally. There were a lot of scratches on everything (appliances, countertops, floors, tubs, walls, baseboards, cabinets).

The most important things like roof, structure, foundation appear to be just fine. I just think fit and finish on cosmetic things lack true craftsmanship and attention to detail for what I would consider luxury homes at this price point. Pulte “sells” their internal QC program and it was nonexistent on the interior finishes phase of the house. I purchased a Pulte home in a different state over 10 years ago for a third of the price and I was much more impressed. This go-around was definitely disappointing.
