The house had a lot of issues before closing, some of then were supposed to get fixed and they never completed them, we had to submit a second request.

As a real estate agent, our experience was less than impressive. Home was supposed to close in July. Waited over 3 months for siding. Ultimately, we were only given 1 "option" as a "replacement" color. Ironically, I had asked if we should choose a replacement in July. House closed 3 months late, which pushed back the sale of our previous home (missing the summer sales season). Refrigerator was delivered and installed with broken door. Drywall finishing and painting is a 5.5 out of 10, at best. Even though the home past inspection, permitting and occupancy, the Sump Pump was wired on the incorrect breaker. In addition, the electrical contractor placed over 20 receptacles on 1 (15 amp) circuit. Standard "rule of thumb" is 8-10 per (15 amp) breaker. Planted grass and sod too late in season. Very happy with the home purchase

The whole experience was great from start to finish. This is our first home we purchase that we got to see being built from beginning to end. The experience was amazing. The field manager explained each step and made sure we understood everything. All questions and concerns were answered and resolved in a timely matter. After closing we had minor repairs which are being resolved as I write this. Thank you Pulte for this amazing adventure in seeing the process of building our Retirement Home.

The experience was great. The staff were professional and respectful. However, the uncertainty on the home completion date frequently put us in difficult positions. We had to do multiple extensions to our lease and had to look for alternate places to live due to the frequent and last minute delays to the stated completion date. Rather than delaying the home 0-2 months prior to completion of the home, we would have preferred a conservative estimate 4-6 months in advance to allow us to properly extend our living arrangements. in the end, due to the uncertainty, we would have over extended our prior lease or would have scrambled to find last minute rentals. Both alternatives would have resulted in extra costs. However, over extending our prior lease would have prevented a great deal of stress and heartache. ... More

2 things - ensure you are putting in cable connections in each room you are going to possibly have a TV - my last provider used wifi - here, with Spectrum, it is a hard wire connection. Second - REALLY look at the light switch location and ordering. The vast majority of the locations do not make sense.

We love our layout and that was the main factor in deciding the home we built. A few things that we wish would have been communicated (steepness of driveway grade they said it was 9.3 but it is well over 13, Garage height we were told something different than the final build height, also felt like the house could have been better prepared for closing, final walk through did not give enough time for all issues to be completed - front door frame not square as an example). Overall we had a good experience and plan to stay in the home for quite a while.

Organized and experience with great building supervisor in our new development.

We have owned 8 homes. This Pulte home is the best. The workmanship is excellent, including the countertops, tile, trim, wood flooring, drywall. The design also is excellent - great cabinet space, excellent closet space, lots of recessed lighting, area for storage in garage, large open living area.

Low quality with not attention to detail results in a subpar home. They do enough to “finish” the home, but every day I notice something new such (cracked and jagged tiles, crooked pulls, nicked hardware, dented cabinets, stained counters). Given these issues I do wonder about the things we can’t see. Requests for fixes result in a not covered under warranty/ not our responsibility response.

Our home is beautiful and we feel we had good value and quality. Our issues have been primarily with communication towards the end of the build process. It seems this depends very much on who you have as we had excellent communication from our earlier contact point, sales manager, title company and mortgage provider.

Very happy with our new home!

The builder was always available to answer my questions and give regular updates on the build process.

The project manager is liar Matthew. Was told if there any issues to contact him. These are issues he knew about prior to closing and now after he got a initial good review. His answers are call the warranty department. He lied about his abilities to get things done after closing could have been honest and said from the beginning to call the warranty department after today

I felt like the builder was genuinely concerned in getting us into our new home despite all the adversity with the given supply chain.

Great home for my first home purchase

Very easy process and very helpful guiding me through this whole new experience. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. There were ups and downs with the building of my home. Pulte was very quick to respond to my concerns. My home was being built during COVID so things were always on back order and very hard to get supplies. Some things were not explained clearly at the design meeting so that caused a few issues with the design of my home. I was unable to get some of the things that I really would have liked to have in my home because I was told what I wanted was standard and comes with the build. It was not standard and I missed out with getting those specific items. I was not happy to the fact that Pulte only puts in basic lights and faucets and carpet in your home. All Chrome. If you want to upgrade it costs double the price if you had it done yourself. So keep this in mind if you are planning on building with Pulte. I have had to change out faucets, towel bars etc in all three of my bathroom. This is my first time building a home. Things do go wrong!!! It's a smooth process from signing the purchase contract to pre-drywall inspection to settlement.

Poor quality of workmanship & materials. Still trying to get open items fixed, and trying to get an issue sorted where the wrong shower door was put it.

I had really good experience after the purchase too. Did get a lot of help with many minor things from Michael and the build team.

Employees were all professional and willing to answer questions as needed.

The homesites are very dirty with garbage strewn all over the lots. Large amounts Roofing nails and other types of materials strewn across lots. Chicken bones, beer cans and other food materials left in house EVEN AFTER ASKING TO HAVE REMOVED AND KEPT CLEAN. Workers used our toilets instead of the porta johns. A very mismanaged site and overall lack of supervision. Other buyers should beware that the quality is lacking and Pulte is very good at saying no first and then sometimes accommodating your needs. After moving in the ongoing construction workers are very rude and unsafe and have access to our community 24/7. Pulte thinks that they have all the answers already and maybe need a little self reflection to make their company closer to what they want to portray.
