Overall good process but elongated by Covid delays in materials. Home build is mostly fine but we are finding some sub par workmanship in areas and obviously things done quickly and not to highest quality. I personally had to chase things up myself and noticed things not done which the construction manager didn’t notice. A number of cosmetic issues after close which took quite some time to fix. Nice team and friendly but overall some poor finishing details.

During the build process everyone was easy to work with and responsive. Then we moved in and things changed. Leaky pipes, broken supply vents, missing vent for the over the stove microwave are all things that should have been right before closing but weren't. Now, the construction crew ignores us. We're told to contact the warranty department, who tells us it will be taken care of but nothing happens. The items needing fixing are small, but the hassle of getting them fixed are very annoying. Delays, delays and more delays only to point figures and trade/subs versus taking ownership and producing the quality product Pulte in known for. Just way to many poor workmanship and quality issues versus quality of work seen in other Pulte developments. The process to build completion was fraught with frustrations. The Pulte mortgage process was awful - responsiveness was almost zero and had to constantly follow-up and track down the person assigned to my closing. The individual has a permanent out of office set so you cannot reach them. The Pulte construction manager is a negative rating on a scale of 0-10. Responsiveness is non-existent. Allow me to begin by saying I believe the design and engineering that goes into a Pulte home is pretty good. This is our third new build home so I do have something to compare it to. 1. There are some areas at the living room lvp flooring where I can see some pop ups which moves and down. They are pretty significant. 2. There is crack in the concrete near the edge in front porch. 3. Loft carpet has a discoloration of line. This has been passed to builder and they sent a person to check it out. No updates from them. 4. Dishwasher is installed bent towards right side. RDU warranty team says they can look only during the built to last check point which is after 11 months. Is there a way to just have a check and evaluate.

Paint is of poor quality and very thin. Finish work is lazy and lacks detail required of finish work, trim is done with 45s in some places and just pressed against each other in others, house was super dirty when we got keys, the ac filters were so clogged it was making a whistling sound because the air was going around the filter. Counter top was cracked they tried to say it was a fissure and then changed the definition through out to fit their benefit. The house itself is great for the most part. Once closing takes place, they forget about you. We've had to beg for 6 weeks to get the final grade completed. Lack of response to e-mails and texts is maddening. There is still a list of items that need done. In summary: pre-close, great (A+) - post-close, horrible (F).

First let me say we do like our new home. During building we had to contact the project manager due to poor workmanship and poor overall quality of finished work. Our major issue that remains unresolved and frankly ignored by Pulte is the driveway. We purchased this model to have two bays one specifically for a golf cart. The driveway is too narrow and of shape making it impossible to use the golf cart bay. We are reaching our tolerance for action by Pulte and reaching out for legal advice.

Home buying process was okay, could have been better. Financing was okay but mostly because we were on top of it and kept following up with Pulte. They sent us letters twice saying we were not compliant even though we had submitted all the paperwork they asked for. Freaked us out but when we called they said to disregard and they would look into it. My experience with Pulte has been below average. I closed on 06/23 and still have issues with wood floors, kitchen cabinet and other things. I have been here over 6 weeks now and chasing building Manager. I plan to post a review on Google so others are aware of the experience I'm going through.

Building experience was good and sales rep was responsive. At closing, there were many issues and had to move closing twice. At final close there were several actions for builder to fix. No response since. Air conditioning still does not work after over a month. Very frustrated.

They have gone wrong with what was promised in having the property ready in 24 hours after having made the closing, in such a hurry to close and it is still not ready, 29 days have passed and nothing has been done on the property, who is the person responsible? Although according to them they are cosmetic repairs, it is a new house and enough time has passed for it to be ready. I imagined that they will give me some reimbursement for what happened. We closed our house with a couple unfixed issues. And as we moved in, we found more issues on the flooring and AC installation. So we have to contact the warranty team to fix them, But they just replied and then disappeared for two months. They do not care about you at all once your house is closed. So make sure you check everything carefully before closing.

I made the closing with missing appliances, they told me that the next day they would come to install these, it has been 6 weeks and I have not had a response, I have written to customer service and they do not pay attention to my mails. Indeed, they warned of delays in deliveries of household appliances; but other neighbors that are under construction already have all their appliances, I made the mistake of closing trusting their word.

Material quality is poor, House wasn’t ready even after closing with tons of things to be fixed including pool heater, water pressure, final paint, cleaning of the property, water in shower was backing up as a result of construction remains in pipes.
