When you bring up issues right after closing such as cracked tile, door has hole in it, which takes over 2 weeks to be painted so far and not installed, a month out at this point to get stucco hole fixed, if they show up! Just horrible on issues and they just do not care after you are handed the keys. No communication with you, if there is no one is on the same page.

It was a struggle but we are in. It took over a year from the time we signed. Our closing was changed at least 5 times and most of it we wouldn't find out until the day prior so we missed quite a bit of work for these closings that didn't happen. We still have issues on things being finished so hopefully we get those fixed sooner rather than later. We moved in a month ago and we've had a couple issued addressed but be prepared to find things you didn't know about until after you've lived in the house for a bit.

Although PGP Title is separate from Pulte Homes, the experience with them started the home buying experience on a bad note. The individuals we dealt with were incredibly unprofessional and borderline rude. The folks we dealt with at Pulte Homes were nice for the most part but also unresponsive at times. The quality overall has been a bit of a disappointment. There were numerous things left undone at close that we are still trying to get taken care of through their warranty team. Not only did the delays total four months to move in (7 month window to 11 months), but we’re still waiting on an oven, utility sink, cabinets, etc. Pulte clearly over building while rates are down and not concerned about you once you’ve paid your down payment.

I purchased my home remotely and visited for the scheduled inspections. In between visits updates from the crew were few and far between. Many times I had to reach out multiple times before receiving a response. Now that I live on the property, the warranty service is even worse. I appreciated the step by step process by construction and leading up to closing, but then once I closed it was all different. My dishwasher was installed wrong and caused major water damage. This resulted in my hardwoods being removed and replaced during my first week (the very next day I closed). I couldn’t properly move in and access my kitchen for days. This is my second Pulte Home in 17 years. Unfortunately, this new home did not meet our expectations in quality workmanship. From the sparse front landscaping to drywall repairs and tile mess-ups it has been frustrating. Due to the company rushing the closing before the houses are done is an experience that all homeowners are faced with in this community! Pulte rushed delivering our home; therefore, quality suffered significantly. Workmanship was very poor overall; the lack of oversight of the contractors is evident everywhere. The warranty department has been very responsive in fixing issues, but with much inconvenience to us since we already moved-in. The fixes are also very poor as far as workmanship goes. This is the third new house I have owned and by far the worst quality and moving-in experience. Previous builders were D.R. Horton and Lennar.

We are two months in, and still have no working master bathroom. The plumbing is leaking through the downstairs ceiling and Pulte advised us to not use the bathroom until they can come out later in the month. I think that says all. The slightly longer version is that we bought the home in a great area, which represents about 50% of the value of my house. It's just sad to see how cheaply Pulte has finished everything. The quality and workmanship was not what I expected from a Pulte Home. A month after closing and we are still addressing issues found during the final walkthrough. Actually, one of the issues was with the gas connection to the stove which caused it to burn. Very dangerous!

Aside from the lack of responsiveness, the Pulte Mortgage process was highly questionable. 1) They did their best to dissuade me from taking a VA loan [which required a VA inspection] 2) The Pulte Mortgage interest rate was somewhat higher than an independent mortgage broker [which we took] 3) The demands for details about the origin of our cash down payment verged on accusations of Money Laundering [I wrote the framework for the Money Laundering Act of 1986]. There are dozens of fit, finish and trim issues. We have been so patient and understanding with our reps, its not their fault, and I am sure they are overwhelmed.
