Pulte hires excellent people and delivers a quality product. Questions answered promptly and honestly. In the end everything they said was proven to be accurate. The building process and quality of our new home was exactly as promised. Best construction experience ever. Highly Recommend recommend Pulte.

The experience was horrible. The loan and home insurance was terrible with several different and unexplained quotes, unanswered calls, and errors. There is zero quality of workmanship and materials. Everything is damaged in some way from improper handling and no care taken to prevent damage. Some examples are : driveway pavers have paint and roof mortar, unevenly framed walls that have humps and curves, paint and caulk on the tile floors and grout, dull paint finish on my kitchen cabinetry, scratches on my windows, stains on my master tub, unlevel window sills by up to an inch from corner to corner, improperly centered thermostats, AC vents and returns, crooked bathroom mirrors, improperly pitched gutters holding water, expansion foam all over on the roofing tile and siding of the house, and numerous painting/sheetrock work. I don't trust this builder. These issues all should have been seen and addressed prior to closing by their project manager. The builder emphasizes that the build process is closely monitored for quality assurance. Its apparent to me no one was monitoring my build. I expected better quality for the amount paid, not value. From the buying process with Jake to the loan approval with Chris Haskin and Tiffany Walters to the construction with Nate Lawrence, they were always available and ready to inform and notify me of everything. I felt well supported and advised every step of the way.

In general, the entire experience with Pulte from sales, to design, to construction and closing was mediocre at best. The left hand doesn't talk to the right, and overall communication and organization was poor. What should've been the most proud and exciting time of my life was 8 months of hell and escalation after escalation. Post-close has been no better, with continued issues 2 months after closing with things like pavers, paint, grading/slope of my yard (excess water pooling) and general poor craftsmanship inside the home resulting in non-stop back/forth with our warranty specialist. If I could do it over again, I'd have chosen a different builder. ... More

My builder, Robert Delaney, was fantastic. He kept me updated weekley and was very responsive.

More attention to detail and quality, ownership of as much of the end to end process as possible rather than blaming "trades" and other departments for issues.

Trust the people that are selling the units supporting the units and the other team members even from the processing of the loan. I can't thank Pulte enough for their support, the educated staff and their ability to answer questions on a regular basis through the whole process. I would recommend Pulte to anyone that wants to work with a company that will completely support the customer.

Materials seem to be quality but finishing workmanship is not very good. Lots of issues with drywall, baseboards that need to be replaced, tub drains missing or not installed, chipped marble in the bathroom, window frames/screen frames bent, etc I have several warranty tickets outstanding and no drywall has been addressed. Also baseboard in the master bedroom was supposed to be replaced pre closing. As of today (nearly 8 weeks later) it still hasn't been replaced.

This was my second home building experience with Pulte Homes. They have made vast improvements in the customer experience over the last 20 years. I LOVE my new house! All of the team members (from the sales representative to the construction team) have been very professional. The pandemic created supply chain issues which delayed the scheduled closing date. However, the company succeeded in overcoming these obstacles and delivered a high quality home for us. Any concerns throughout the building process were promptly addressed by the team. The communication during the building process with the construction supervision and sales agent was excellent. The assurance of quality of the home construction and the result after construction met and exceeded expectations. The help given after construction for warranties and post construction issues was very good.

House has a lot of imperfection , pulte only focus on volume no on quality for customers!

Our move in date was about 6 weeks longer than initially communicated but with supply chain issues caused by Covid I know this is not unique to Pulte. During the build process, any concern that I raised was addressed by the field manager and communication was good. We moved in with a few incomplete items which we agreed to as we needed to be out of the house we sold. I would not recommend this to others if you can avoid it as it has been slow going getting to full completion and we are not there yet. The concrete sub contractor has been very slow to respond to any rework, once during the build, and now after move in for omission of tile under poured sidewalk which I ended up resolving on my own. It does not appear to me that Pulte has much leverage with the concrete sub but then as a customer, I certainly have no view of the big picture relative to work load. In general, all the subs did good work and a couple of them were amazingly efficient; roofing, drywall, electrical to call out the best. Our warranty manager has been good as we work through what I would consider a modest list but I can’t give final approval as we are currently about half way through the list. We signed a build contract in late November, ground breaking March 9, move in Aug 27, 9 months total. Although we have had frustrating moments, we are happy with our end product. ... More

Good and beautiful property and zone

for the most part the process moved along well. The Sales Agent was very knowledgeable. The Design Studio representative was very helpful in making the process very pleasurable and exciting. The construction manager worked on our behalf to see that the quality of the construction was maintained. Then came the closing process and the agent we had was definitely the best. His explanations of every form made the process very smooth.

The whole process of buying a new home with Pulte - from the initial visit at the sales office and visiting the models to closing to post-closing - was very easy and painless. Such a professional company. We love the house! We did find a handful of things after closing but everything has been taken care of within weeks. It’s been 2 months since we closed and there is still one item left to be repaired. It’s great to have the fit and finish warranty though! Pulte has stood by their workmanship and we love our new home and the community that’s still being built!

We love our home and we know there is a staffing crisis but we’ve had lots of issues. Our PM Josh did a good job but we discovered some things our first month in the home. Here’s a list of our outstanding work orders: Electrical team didn’t properly install exterior light plug, cat 5 wires or high surge protected outlet for tv mount. Still waiting on tv outlet. Garage door makes a “popping” sound-awaiting repair. 2 Blue exterior light boxes exposed awaiting mortar. Outdoor light “sagging” Caulk around bathroom window. Cabinet door above microwave unhinged Rehang study door (small scratch in glass) No privacy lock for the master bedroom Gaps in front pillars need mortar to cover. Before I go into the build process, I want to call out Shandra for being a great selling agent. She helped us along the way and was an advocate for us from the start. We began with one project manager, Brandon, who was excellent. He made me feel comfortable and in good hands from our first virtual meeting. Every week he would send us emails with pictures, letting us know what was accomplished and what the plan for the next week was. During my pre-drywall inspection, he was very thorough, and let me know the ins and outs of our soon-to-be new home. Unfortunately, a week later he left the company, and things began to go downhill from there. The new project manager, Brad, did not keep us up-to-date on the building process. We had to send multiple emails to him to try and find out what was going on. We received a brief email from him on July 16th, without pictures, concerning the progress of our home, which contained an excessive amount of typos. On the 25th, I sent an email with questions about progress and potential closing dates. It took him six days to respond to me, in which we were "given" final walk and closing dates. The next time we heard from him was August 16th with an email in which he wanted to know if there were any questions or concerns, and what he could do better. We gave him that feedback the following day, and never heard from him until our "celebration" walkthrough. It was nothing close to a celebration, and in fact had the wind taken out of our sails, in what should have been a very exciting experience. He admittingly had not been in the home since Thursday, and it was nowhere near ready to be shown as a walkthrough. He attempted to call us 2 hours beforehand (on the wrong number). encouraging us to reschedule. We clearly did not receive the phone call, so showed up as scheduled. There were holes in the walls, mud all over the floors, the banister was on the floor, the planning center countertop was not installed, trim outside was not painted, a wire for the front porch was lost, and a hole had to be cut in the soffit to find it. We got to the top of the stairs and we ended the walk. My wife left the walkthrough in tears. We then came back on Wednesday, to a somewhat improved situation, but were at the house for over three hours "after" walking it with Brad, to tape up all of the imperfections. At this point, the whole house needed to be repainted. We ran out of a full roll of painters tape. This should not have been our job... it should have been Pulte's! He needs to make sure that when I walk in that home I have trouble finding anything wrong (at least that's what the signage that Pulte advertises says). We were actually told they were working on changing the verbiage because it was an unrealistic expectation for owners to walk in on a walk through and expect perfection. What? Failure at the core! Even at the final closing day walkthrough there were a ton of items that we called out, that still have not been totally completed 2 months after closing. Since moving in, we have discovered paint circles on our Owner's Suite bathroom countertop, a trim piece that is damaged and needs to be replaced, grass that won't grow in because the soil has been contaminated with paint or cleaner (you can still see paint stains on nearly 1/3 of our lawn), and a garage door that does not function properly. Not to mention we don't have cold water in one of our guest bathrooms. The craftmanship of this home is something to be desired, and we feel that we are stuck in the biggest investment of our lives. We would never recommend Pulte to anyone! Even our realtor was disgusted with the entire process, and said Pulte went from being her #1 recommended builder, to one of her least recommended builders. She had 3 other clients at the time, 2 of which were looking to build with Pulte, but were spared the headache because she saw our experience firsthand and pointed them in a different direction. For a 444K home, we shouldn't have had to, nor continue to have to, micromanage the execution of our home nearly as much as we've had to these past 3 months. Pulte should care just as much about the quality of our home as we do, but have continued to disappoint us with their clear disregard, and honestly, their overall care about us as clients. As homes continue to close, we continue to get forgotten about and have to routinely send follow-up emails to both Brad and Chris. Our lawn is destroyed, there's a 5in divot in our front yard (which my wife sprained her ankle in the other day, hence how we discovered it), and items continue to sit left unattended, even though we were told they'd be completed 30 days after closing. I don't live a life of regrets, but going with Pulte is by far one of the biggest regrets yet. ... More

Problem with pipe leaking to unit below me was handled quickly and efficiently.

This was our first new home build, and Pulte was great through the entire process. We are so happy with our new home.
