The closing process was a disaster closing was delayed 5 times and I understand things happen and get delayed but my big issue was no one kept updated I would be notified the day before my closing was delayed. The communication was terrible. I was also promised 2 years of no hoa which they couldn’t honor and that was a mess on the day of closing no one knew anything. I was compensated for the one year they couldn’t honor which was nice but that also took a month for them to figure out. The day of closing they scheduled a time then told me I had to come back 2 hours later bc none of the paper ...

My experience wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either for the amount of money spent on the home. I think the construction manager was spread too thin, did not have reliable contractors, seemed to jump from one project to another. Closing dates kept being pushed out and still had some issues that need to be resolved. In all fairness, I did have an in person visit from the Customer Care Manager who submitted a work order for the outstanding items. In conclusion, I believe Pulte can make for a great experience if they could recruit and retain enough top talent.

Half of backyard is preservation, was not told until 1st walk thru before closing

Half of my backyard has made preservation, as it backs up to wetland. Thus means I cannot do anything to it, not even weed it. I wasn’t told this when I choose the lot, otherwise I probably would not have chose the lot. Feel like it has devalued the property. Just over a month after move in, quality and workmanship on the home is average, but no major faults found. Bought connected home pkg, which still isn’t completely connected. New community so still alot of construction and growing pains with noise and dirt.

The process of purchasing a Pulte home was fairly easy. The process outlined in the Pulte videos was not followed at all. The walk final through went great, but the amount of re-work required is unacceptable. Pulte needs to do it right the first time.

Mike had a concrete sealer applied to my garage floor the beginning of March without notifying me first. During my 3/10 blue tape walk through, the smile was very strong to the point I couldn't be in the garage. The celebration was on 3/23 that I didn't attend but my cousin that was there said it still smelled really strong. I moved in on 4/15. The smell was still very strong to the point that it was in the house and triggering my asthma. I opened a ticket with warranty to have it address. Need to fix the damaged and uncompleted places

When I moved in, I found many places were incomplete, some were damaged, and some places had not even been painted. All window curtains were not installed. The bathroom glass door can not be closed very well, and there is a massive space for water leaking; every wardrobe door was incomplete(Not securing every closet door)

Probably the worst sales associates I’ve ever dealt with. They are horrible at responding after a contract is signed, did not assist with the closing process in the least, and just not good to work with. Even when referring other buyers to the community, same song and dance, both Sabrina and Gisabel drop the ball.

Edward has been absolutely outstanding. That guy really cares and it shows. Hope he is promoted. Grading on the house was done incorrectly and I am working with warranty department To correct. Water drains toward house in numerous spots. Garage doors need to be replaced with wood doors like all the others in neighborhood. Membership to club was honored. Thank you.

Some amazing people working for Pulte, including our construction manager Dimitri and Zorinel our sales consultant. Both were and continue to be responsive and made the experience straight forward. Some aspects out of their control but they genuinely are great to work with. Original estimate for move in was Oct-Dec, moved in officially in April. Which is going to end up costing an unbearable amount of money with the interest rates increase, no one’s fault who we worked with directly but no way can we give 5 stars all around knowing it’ll hurt us in the long run in probably high 5 or 6 ...

When a homeowner pays in excess of 700-800 thousand dollars for their home, he/she should expect a home that is pretty much completed to standards. Rushing to finish homes when homeowners are waiting an average of 14-16 months and then expecting them to close when homes are not even properly cleaned after all the painting and construction, and issues are found everywhere is not something Pulte should be proud of.

Amazing experience with everyone I interacted with, from the front office to project managers, loan officers, etc. However, at this price point, (over 600k), I had certain expectations for a home. Some of the standard/builder grade options were the same/less than my first new build (approximately 20 years ago). For example, I had a better shower/tub in my apartment than the stand tub/shower combo in my over half a million dollar home. In addition, some things just felt rushed. First let me say that the home is beautiful, and I believe it is definitely worth the price we paid for it. For the most part everyone we have worked with has been very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been marred by post move-in issues with the house and poor responsiveness by our builder to address these issues like they claimed they would. My home took 13 months to complete and it wasn’t even complete! Pulte fired my project manager and gave me a new one 2 weeks before closing. The quality of work and attention to detail was horrible and the new project manager has done a wonderful job of making things right but the home took entirely too long to be built for there to be so many issues with the home.

We had a very good construction manager that finished the job. However, we went through 2 not so good managers that very not good communicators. Pulte builds a beautiful home, offers lots of upgrade options. Very disappointed with the number of cosmetic issues that we have to deal with after closing for the price point of the home that could have been taken care of prior. My experience with the title company was difficult and did not meet my needs. From not returning my phone calls to being oblivious to my situation with my Cape Coral home being destroyed and no internet access for their forms. Nor were they flexible with my closing date even though Pulte was not able to assure me the HVAC unit would be in place and operational before it. I was surprised at the amount of obvious flaws and poor craftsmanship that we had to continuously point out for repair prior to closing. Bring a level and magnifying glass when doing routine walks or you’ll be stuck with shorty work.
