The process of obtaining a mortgage was tedious. There was a lot of back and forth . Even asked for a US currency income whenever my husband was recurving a Canadian currency pension. All they have to do was convert it to US but instead called us several times that it has to be in US. After our closing time and we were supposed to move in, our moving truck has to park outside the house because there was something else they have to fix before it will sign off that whatever they fix is ok. We have pay extra time because of the wait. We had 2 moving trucks waiting to unload our stuff. ...

In general, I like the house. But I expected a little more quality for the price I’m paying. But that my just be a product of the current overpriced housing market. Also, some of the workmanship, such as on the doors, the cabinets, and shower, could have been better. My experience with Pulte Mortgage nearly soured the whole experience. I would strongly recommend saving every single correspondence email with Pulte Mortgage in case they accuse you of not replying or if they try to offer you something different from their correspondence. The sales team was amazing. Generally the responsive tone ...

The construction manager was great and answered all of our concerns. The male sales consultant needs to be more diplomatic altho Karla was attentive to all of our needs. We still don't have the keys to the community areas such as the pool, etc.atic

Multiple options to upgrade ( but with a steep cost off course), allows to build and add on your choices. The sales team was very helpful in choices and explanations. The construction side of folks, take their time to respond. The closing got messy as the corporate and the construction team were not on the same page and had to delay closing by four weeks. We are still working on clearing some last minute kinks, but overall the follow up team is responding well. Overall a good experience. I will choose them if I am interested in a lot of personalization to my build.

Let me start off with saying that we do love our new home. But the quality is not even close to what we expected for a $470k new home. The Pulte representatives we have spoken to are extremely professional, but the trades they hire do not seem to provide the quality of work I would expect. The finishings are not installed very well and we are already having issues that we are going through Pulty’s warranty process to resolve and we have only been here 2 months. The warranty process seems to take a lot of time base off of what our neighbors have said. And every single one of our neighbors have ...

Communication between staff member and staff and customers was not good. The process from beginning to end was not good. I was encouraged to sell my home with an anti aped move in date of September. I did not move into November. The mortgage company told me mid October. Staff told me I could get my keys on a Monday I didn’t move in until Thursday. There were lapses all along. If I had my choice I would not buy Pulte again.

Nice community, lackluster quality, design and slow build progress

Our neighborhood is shaping up to be a nice community but overall our build and buying experience was not exceptional. Our completed home looks nice, but by watching the build process we know the bones of our house are low quality. The concrete slab was not well tended during curing and has an abundance of hairline cracks everywhere. Some are completely through the slab. In the framing there were hundreds of nails that missed their mark. We have floor panels that are loose and make noise when they are walked on. Prior to closing we found a door that was installed in the wrong ...

My home was completed in about 7 months and looking at the details it shows. My floors are covered with white trim paint, paint on walls missed, glass window put in with scratches all over it, outlets put in 1 CM from the corner (why would you do that?), missing towel rack in our shower we "upgraded", door frame not painted. The attention to detail is just not what I would expect.

During construction, I was notified that Pulte was changing cabinet vendors and the color of cabinet I initially chose would no longer be offered. I asked questions to the construction manager and salesperson to see if I could still get the color we picked from the original vendors at all, and if so, how long that delay would be. I didn't receive direct answers or updates on the situation for about two weeks. During that time, a new color was selected, installed in the home, then subsequently ripped out, then the original cabinets were ordered, but would cause a 3 week delay in closing. All ...

Overall average experience. Bad: Felt rushed throughout most of the process even when there was plenty of time to close: namely, the deposit process and the document review/signing process. Salesperson was not good at explaining things clearly/succinctly. Worst part of the buying process: how inflexible the salesperson was from deviating from Pulte docs/procedures, even though they made a mistake. Build quality isn't amazing but it's functional: details like trim, carpet edging, screws for door hardware, and even tiny drips/paint spots on the floor are all things you notice after living ...

This is my second Pulte home and I was very happy with my first. This was new construction. I've been in the house for about 60 days and it's been a not-so-great experience. Closing was delayed multiple times due to delayed materials or unavailable trades. The builder did not verify the options I paid for so, for example, failed to paint the walls in the color I picked out. There have been multiple issues that I'm still working through in the warranty process, but should have been caught by Pulte staff prior to closing (concrete damage, shoddy tiling, full backsplash replacement, sliding ...

My sales people & my GC were amazing to work alongside; however, the sub contractors that have done and continue to fix mistakes at my home hired by PULTE are completely unreliable and have added a tremendous amount of stress to this process. There is a lack of accountability across all sub contractors and I am spending tremendous amounts of time & energy coordinating people to fix the mistakes at my home. I bought a new home to avoid these issues and I am frustrated with the whole process since I still have cabinets unfinished, non-functioning appliances, missing crawl space stairs, etc etc.

It is my third and most expensive home with Pulte in an exclusive neighborhood, yet the quality of the workmanship has been the poorest. I am very disappointed. The salespeople, staff, and field manager were all great as always from my previous Pulte experience, however, the quality of work was very poor. It seems we closed on the house, and it needed at least another month before closing. Every day/week I find new issues. I have spent the last 2 months addressing issues. Pulte has been very responsive and have begun to take care of some, but it seems it will be 6 months before they take care ...

It has definitely not been a stress free move process. A lot of rescheduling because of not receiving communication in time that walk-throughs cannot be met as things are not finished, or having to reschedule the closing multiple times. In the end we could not move the closing any further due to move out constraints, but the house was not fully ready yet 3 weeks after promised delivery when they were just one month out of closing. If they had focused on our house I'm sure they would have been able to, but it seems they were short staffed and had multiple closings around getting delayed, so ...

The support from the Pulte employees has been fantastic, but unfortunately the workmanship has been terrible. Within a month on living in the house the following has happened: Garage door collapsed and needs to be replaced. Half of my kitchen has been without backsplash for a week because the countertop needs to be replaced. Once replaced, who know when the tile company will come back to put the backsplash since they are never available. Nails were sticking out all over the carpet around the stairs. All the edges and doorways and had my kids get cuts multiple times. This issue was ...

Working with the Lending Company was difficult at best. They continued to ask for information that had been requested more than once. Getting service for issues is very dependent on the vendor being used. Sometimes it is 7 to 10 days and other times it is 7 to 10 weeks. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR A NEW HOME.

There were quite a few issues with the house from day one. We now have a timeline for fixing most issues, but it has taken a month to get movement on some issues. The most critical issues (toilets backed up, shower not draining and water pouring into porch) we’re corrected in a timely manner. We are still awaiting our wine fridge. It does not appear that a great deal of attention to detail was provided by the tradespeople. We do love our home and look forward to enjoying it once the issues are corrected.

Before buying my Pulte home, I had been researching other homes with little satisfaction. When I saw the Pulte homes, I was ecstatic; they had everything I wanted in a new home. I wanted a single level, a patio, and a pantry which according to the advertisement came with these homes. I made contact with the sales office, selected a model, began the qualifying process and provided my $15k deposit. It was afterwards that I was told the homes in this development did not come with patios. I discovered later, that I was not given the opportunity to make structural choices. Then the process of ...
