We were excited to enter into contract with Pulte on our new home back in July 2021. The interaction with the sales team through the majority if the process was excellent. Tara was pleasant to work with in terms selecting our floorplan and upgrades. She communicated extremely well with us and we were grateful for her services. The one year process was very long due but I understood due to inflation. However we got our keys and the foremen guys Tracey and the trainer were pushing us to sign that they took care of things that weren't complete. Tracey brought me the wrong keys to my home, I did not feel comfortable I was scared ppl still had access to my home. I had many issues still not resolved. My shower door has gaps that allow water to come outside of the shower. They gave me a rusted water heater. Tiles were chipped and grouting not completed. A screen door on the patio was never installed. Stove keeps going out. I think the experience would be better if these issues were resolved before we moved in.

I recently moved into my Pulte Townhome. For the price I paid I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the workmanship. Pulte is more concerned about putting up homes quickly rather than the quality of the home. Here are just some examples- 2 bedrooms wired wrong tripping breaker, tacks not nailed down in carpeted areas hence pricking bottom of feet when walking on, garage door broke after 2 wks Bc it was installed improperly, sloppy trim work, worst painting job I’ve ever seen where painter totally missed doors and trim and on trim painted over drywall dust and bits of dry mudding instead ...

The sales team did their part and got me everything I wanted in the new home, but that’s where the positive experience ended. After closing expect little support, your loan to be sold, and for them to pull your credit again. My loan was transferred to M&T within two month and when Pulte no longer serviced my loan they pulled my credit again. Extremely disappointed in the quality of product and workmanship in my home. For the price I paid, the lack of care and concern by Pulte's subcontractors is very disturbing. I was told there are 2 walk-throughs completed by Pulte prior to my final walk-through. There was absolutely NO way this was done in my home. We were sold a walkout basement option on our home at the Cottages. We cannot walkout on our lot as it slopes on a 45 degree angle. A flat patio is not workable without a retaining wall. This $20k option was sold to us with no one reviewing the plot plan or explaining the lot grade issue. Why would a builder sell a walkout basement that you cannot walk out on to? Does Not Do What They Say They Will

Pulte Homes does not do what they say they will. Sales Staff (Mark) is dishonest and not transparent about lot release dates, pricing or timelines. The Construction Staff (Robbie) deflects and places the blame on the sub-contractors. Which is silly considering Pulte Homes is ultimately responsible and pays the sub-contractors. They have not been responsive to the 12 month warranty items. Customer Care Team (Mariah) does not respond to service requests. If you have any other option choose them. You will not get what you pay for from Pulte Homes and their customer service is atrocious.

Stay on top of your superintendent. They throw these houses up quickly and do NOT pay attention to quality. I had multiple walls that were not square and are still being fixed two months after we moved in. Once you sign and move in you are not a priority.

Prepare to be "sold" on the model homes they show you. Unfortunately, almost nothing resembles the quality of the model. Poor worksmanship plagues this company leading to constant warranty requests. Items that were listed on the documentation at closing will NEVER get done so be prepared to delay closing. If all sales people at Pulte are anything like the one we had to deal with, we would have never signed the contract. Our sales person is only interested in getting that initial contract and then disappears blaming everyone else at Pulte for any delays/inconveniences that arise (even the ones he created).

Expected much more from Pulte, especially after our second home that was built by them. Quality of materials and build was really disappointing and even more so was the rush to try and complete major issues before closing. Were also promised that major items still pending would be finished within days after closing. Should have trusted my instinct because it is going on 2 months and still no resolutions and we have to be the one constantly pursuing the so called warranty manager to get answers and only to receive attitude and no control over any subs.

Our first newly built home where we hoped to be able to relax and retire has been a nightmare. We closed and moved in a little over a month ago and have had repairs done nearly every week for missing grout and caulk in the bathrooms, broken cabinet doors and door locks that don't work. Repairs can take hours for something that should take half the time. We are still waiting for a fix to be able to use a shower since there is an actual hole in tile. Things that were talked about at walk through have not been fixed. Field Manager is unresponsive or promises that someone will be out to fix it but never comes. I have contacted the national office who told me the local office needed to take care of it and I was just circled back to the same Field Manager. Terrible, no non-existent customer care.
