I have been in my home for approximately 3 months. There are greatly noticeable cracks and nail pops throughout the house that were visible prior to moving in. Drywall spackle on mirrors, countertops, walls, and doors I cleaned after closing on the house. The conduit outside the house for the fiber optic line was cut and covered over with concrete making it very difficult for the technician to run the line. I had to cut sections of drywall and then conduit behind the wall in the garage to keep the line from catching on very tight turns. Here my list of issues and concerns - kitchen cabinets ...

After living here for a month, I realized the material used to build my unit is very cheap and low quality. The flooring carpet specially is really bad installed. Doors are low quality. No very happy with the unit in overall. I have submitted 4 service tickets so far in less than a month. I know that this unit will need a lot of work after a few years which it shouldnt be since it's a new brand construction.

We purchased a quick move-in home that required many small repairs, particularly regarding the quality of the finishing work. Several final touches were poorly done, especially the paintwork, and almost all doors were damaged at the bottom, likely due to improper handling when they were removed for painting. During our walkthrough with the builder, we pointed out all the issues we noticed. However, we were told that since the house had already been approved by the county, these corrections were not mandatory, although they would try their best to address them. This gave us the impression ...

The purpose of this review is to provide an accurate account of our experience in Sunrise Estates. While for the most part the experience was positive there have been a few issues along the way. We were completely unimpressed with our rude sales team member who was wrong about multiple steps in the process. Our construction manager, Vaughn, has been more than helpful and our best point of contact in this process. Working with him we were consistently impressed with how he conducted our build especially after being switched into the role. A few issues have been tough to deal with and have ...

We have not had a good experience. First we were living on our home a few weeks and we had an issue with our smoke detectors. I called the warranty number and was told it’s not an emergency and they will come in 3 or 4 days. It’s a state law in Florida that you must have working smoke detectors so I don’t see how having no fire protection for my family is not an emergency. Also I pay HOA fees for my lawn to be cut, edged and fertilized none of which was being done for my first two months living in the community. I reached out to the managing group of the community and was told oh we are sorry ...

Horrible experience with Brian, sales consultant. He withheld information and lied about it. When we raised concerns once we found out the truth, Megan (Brian’s manager) asked Brian about we reported and reported a response back from him which contradicted what he told us. We went straight to Brian to clarify the inconsistency in what he told us verse what he told his Manager and were slapped with a harassment complaint and told we couldn’t meet with any employee of Pulte without prior approval a manager present and another person present. The initial sales experience was positive, with assurances of exceptional quality throughout the home build. Unfortunately, post-closing reality has been significantly different. Within three weeks of occupancy, major and minor flaws stemming from poor workmanship have become evident. Issues include, but are not limited to: failure of the tankless water heater, a severely loose kitchen faucet, and several clear footprints visible on the concrete patio floor after recent rainfall. The overall quality of workmanship is deeply disappointing. We purchased a new home specifically to avoid ...

Poor quality products used such as granite. Poor workmanship. Window shades do not fit properly as drywall around windows not uniform. Cheap wood used on deck is splitting. While our home-buying process with this builder started off smoothly, the overall experience has been disappointing. The quality of several finishes does not meet expectations — the interior paint is of noticeably low quality, showing marks and wear quickly, and the doorknobs and hardware feel cheap and poorly installed. These details detract from the overall appearance and craftsmanship of the home. Equally concerning has been the lack of assistance after closing. Getting questions answered or help with issues has been extremely difficult. Communication is slow, follow-up is inconsistent, ...

We chose Pulte Homes based on my personal experience working in the homebuilding industry and their reputation in the market. We were extremely disappointed by numerous issues throughout the construction process and in the end result. We have been in the home for 2 plus months and still have warranty work taking place. This is our 4th new build in Phoenix, and by far the worst experience. Manu of our new neighbors feel the same way, sadly I would not recommend.

POC responsible for validating my financial records kept adding requirements until I was told that I couldn't close on the scheduled closing date. Also, my loan was supposed to be for a convential 30-year fixed rate loan, but they showed the final loan to be a VA loan. Also, I was told that I had to provide a letter to explain that I was going to stay at this new home at least for one year (incorrect). I had overpaid on the 20% deposit and was supposed to get a rebate. However, you failed to tell me that you were sending a check to the new home and it got rained on. It was so ...

This was supposed to be an exciting time of my life. Find my first house. It was absolutely horrible trying to close on the house. I’m still dealing with issues that Paul will not call me back about. The backyard has a drainage issue. The sod was not laid properly. For the money spent on this house I think it’s an absolute shame that nobody will respond back. If pulte does not approve you, do not give up and find another lender who will! Most of the time pulte is not willing to go an extra step for the customer and will put you down through the home buying process. Pulte showed throughout the whole process that they didn’t care about anything besides bottom line. From getting the wrong lot opposed to the one we discussed to just predatory lending techniques to horrible landscaping. The whole time I was constantly reminded why I and so many others do not enjoy buying from home builders. My yard will need about $50-$80k worth of retaining walls for any part of it to be enjoyed. It’s clear Pulte realized how much soil/walls were needed to make the lots respectable and they don’t care so obviously they’re doing whatever they can to exit with the most money ...
