Willing to work with customer through each step of the build and to solve concerns.

The overall experience was good. But, there were some communication gap with the design studio and the builder. The construction quality is good, but the finishing work can be done much better with attention to detail.

If you are looking for a quality home builder in the Ft. Myers area, you can't go wrong by choosing Pulte Homes. There customer interaction during the buying process and their responsiveness during the building process were outstanding. And the follow-up after the sale has been tremendous. They truly believe in delivering a quality home and making sure the buyer is happy. We couldn't be more pleased and are happy we chose Pulte Homes to build our new Florida house.

Love the community so far but the customer service both from the sales office and the Dartmouth group is very poor. You leave messages and nobody ever gets back with you!

Very bad experience buying my first house, there are already 4 repairs in less than 2 months, 2 water leaks, washing machine, and clogged drain, I want someone to contact me I no longer feel safe I want them to do a general inspection

The building process was very smooth and Pulte representatives helped us out every step of the process. If something came up during the building process that we didn’t like or questioned they were quick to fix the issues to make sure we were 100 percent satisfied. Overall it was a great building experience.

Pulte pushes using their mortgage company, but they do not know what they are doing and do not communicate well. We waited for 4 months for a decision only to be rejected and told I had three weeks to get a full mortgage commitment or the entire deal would be voided. I had two mortgage approvals within two weeks. Building process was slow (6 months) with little to no communication until the end of the process. Multiple homes were started after ours and delivered weeks before. Even after 6 month build time, there are multiple outdoor items which need completed more than a month after closing. Overall the value was there due to an increasing market, but the length of transaction (10 months from signature to closing + 1 month later still waiting for landscaping and grass) and the lack of communication would make me hesitate to ever recommend building with Pulte ... Pulte was very responsive in resolving the punchlist items at the closing of the house.

Pulte creates too many homes that it cannot keep up with, thus the quality suffers. Finishings were poor such as painting was awfull, many places were missing paint entirely, choices of wood were poor as noticed during construction, final grading still is not complete after 2 months, window signs still in windows above garage, responsiveness is very slow often times months.

Ever heard the saying, “The devil is in the details,”? Well it’s so true for this house. It is evident in every aspect of this home that this was a rushed, careless job. From large chunks of debris being found in the yard that they laid sod over, to missing chunks of sub floor underneath the laid carpet, to paint stains all over the wood look tile floors and in our black granite sink. We have baseboards that have chunks of wood missing that were painted over and not repaired. Flickering lights in the powder room. Mud or dirt on the baseboards that were painted over instead of being cleaned. The mortar on the exterior brick is sloppy to say the least. Door strike plates that don’t fit the groove they were placed in. Window screens not secured. Paint splatter all over patio fans. Nails from tack strips on stairs not properly being installed, poking our feet as we walk. The cleaning of the home prior to move in was minimal. There was so much dust and dirt still left to be cleaned. We were told that our issues were merely cosmetic in nature. While that may be true for some of the issues, it wasn’t true for all of them. And even so, the “cosmetic” details are still a part of the experience. You walk into the model home/sales office expecting to live in a home that is as immaculate as they portray, but that’s hardly what you’ll get. And we understand that everything wouldn’t be perfect, but there are issues in this home that loudly profess that they didn’t even try! I think that’s the most insulting part. The lack of effort feels extremely disrespectful from a customer service perspective. I would like to add that Mauro our field manager was very attentive to our needs. But, he could only do so much. We moved from Minnesota to Texas to be nearer to family. The nature of moving across the country was a challenge in itself. While there were some bumps initially with the build process, Pulte kept us well-informed with weekly builder update calls. When we arrived in Texas, Evan and Landon met us at the house and gave us a lot of confidence in the work being done and their attention to detail. They examined the carpet that was installed and had it replaced right away due to some issues. They have continued to be. helpful as we moved in. We had a great experience building our dream home with Pulte. We would recommend them to anyone we know.

As far as the overall process , Pulte is a great company with a great staff. The on-Site reps do everything they can to make sure the house meets your expectations. However, Ensure you know what you are doing when at your design appointment. When you make changes to a feature; it’s not always explained to you how it will affect the other selections you have made. We went from having wood floors in our gathering room to having carpet when we specified no carpet on the first floor. A selection change we made basically added carpet to our living room without us knowing it; and we have pets, which is now a problem and will cost us more to have it fixed. This is not a direct line to Pulte, but it is a direct result of the design appointment being subcontracted to another company with their own way of fulfilling their contractual obligations. ... Sales office personnel were very responsive. Closing process was very professional

They cheap out on good Materials. Like paint , siding , concrete driveways crack ,and the sod they use is terrible

We were happy with the quality of our new home. David and Trenton were very helpful.
