Jimmy and Shane were AMAZING! If it was not for them I wouldn’t have anything nice to say. Kelly was my original sales person, the few questions I did have for her which are basic questions i.e. what grade does elementary school go up to, what is the average home bill etc... she had no idea. I originally added a backsplash in my kitchen, she quoted me the wrong price but did honer the price she messed up on. Pulte overall is a good builder, however, when I had brought things to their attention after my house was built, I felt that I did not get very responsive scheduling of these items. I am still following up on work that needs to be completed from my punch list. The house is basically a kit so, the fundamentals are good. But the finishing is poor. Exterior and interior painting is poor. Interior trim is poor. Front door does not fit. Basement window well is littered with construction materials. They cut corners everywhere they can. We have built 3 homes and this is the most expensive and the poorest quality. I have requested things to be fixed and so far nothing.

I built and bought the house in the winter so I have lots of details to be fixed that were not noticeable or fixable during that time. Since I already closed on the house, now I have to wait until they have time to come and fix them after they finish building other houses they have to close on first. It seems Pulte is in a hurry to sell and close on houses. I wish I didn't close until they got everything done.

So many things we noticed wrong about how this house was built. As if the workers got lazy towards the end and left so many mistakes. Ac broke our first month, crooked cabinets, uneven baseboards. Frustrating. Our sales rep, Eric was also not helpful at all during our process of buying. Always seemed bothered when reached out to.

Pulte has beautiful floor plans that are well thought through to meet the practical needs of every customer. They also have nice exterior elevation options for each home model. As a first time home buyer, I did not do a good job of planning my structural options since it needs to be locked in within 24 hours, I would have appreciated some leniency from Pulte in that regard. Lack of communication from the start. Nobody realized that the option for large frosted glass window in master bath was not allowed by the computer with the walk in shower. It took multiple times of reviewing paperwork to figure it out. Field supervisor was out at the beginning and nobody picked up the ball. Finally heard from him a month after contract and then after that only about every four weeks and that was only after bringing in someone else. I paid extra for a refrigerator there top of the line one that they had to offer. On the day of closing they put a temp one in and told me that it would be 2-4 weeks the fridge was on back order. After 4 weeks no one contacted me I had to reach out to them and the person that contacted me said he was not sure when the fridge will arrive. He would contact me which one has it. The fridge that is there stands out like a sore thumb. I am totally disappoint in the lack of communication and the sense of urgency. I paid extra for what?? Only issues were driveway wasn’t done, no garage opener, also miscommunication with the mortgage payments, I sent mine in week and half ago still haven’t received it plus loan has been transferred. I got a letter to still pay Pulte but got letter from other servicer yesterday, I could have paid new servicer without any issues, very disappointed with that situation. Other than that everything else is ok

Overall, the experience has been good and the response from the Field Manager has been really great. However, some of the concerns that were reported earlier still need to be resolved like parquet finishing and repair, water leakage noise in living space, water leakage from dishwasher, cracks and peeling of plaster in some areas need to be addressed. On the external environment, the noise of running train, noise and dust from on going construction could be better managed.

We like the location and the space of homes on lots. We were disappointed with lack of flexibility to change material. For example, we wanted the room off the kitchen (that was suggested for an office) to be a butler’s pantry. Pulte would not do this. We asked to leave the room so that we could make it what we want. The sales representative Maria was worse than a used car sales rep. It seemed like she was say almost anything to purchase a home from her. We purchased our home long distance, in a pandemic and did everything virtually. Everything was extremely rushed and Maria did not review all of the available options with us. QUALITY CONTROL should be much better. Some sub-contractors do not clean up messes they made to material that was previous installed. Pulte personal do not seem to check after them to see they have done the job right or cleaned up afterwards.

To be fair, we have never contracted for a home to be built before, so there were a number of misunderstanding between us and the sales agent. We also made some bad design choices. Our sales agent was not new to the building industry, but was relatively new to this role. Overall happy with the home I purchased. The Pulte realtor was excellent. Moved in a little over a month ago and am constantly having Pulte come out to fix things. Feels as if they rushed through the building process. Definitely inspect the home multiple times before your warranty expires. Considering getting a professional inspection as well. Would buy again if the price was right.

I had my house done before the end of this year which supposed to be finished at the end of November 2020, I know this pandemic had effect the supposed to be completion date. The builder missed a lot of things like screens on the windows and carpets nail on the stairs still out, even my two sons got wounded bec of that. Tiles that are uneven on foyer and kitchen area, paint that was missed. I was kind of upset because I put 20% down payment and I know Pulte works even better than that, I hope they will fixed this issue pretty soon.

The experience was stressful. The quality is average. Walls seem thin and it sounds like a herd of cattle when my children play upstairs and I’m downstairs despite the fact I have pretty laid back kids compared to others. All the doors were dinged up you when we moved in and no wood filler and paint can correct them even though that’s what they’ve done over and over. Whatever you do, do not upgrade your color of paint for the entire house, save that two grand and hire a painter to come paint your entire house with a satin paint after.
