Getting things finished on a timely matter has not been a pleasant experience

Started great but with Covid we were pushed back seven times. Now we have struggled to get things finished even though we have lived here over a month. Overall the house is amazing but getting things buttoned up has been a slow process for us

Lack of attention to detail in finishing work. Can still feel uneven concrete from corrections of issues in the slab through the finished floor. Multiple issues with electrical and plumbing that needed to be addressed in first 2 weeks. Of our 3 experiences with new construction this was the worst

Everyone was very nice and responsive during the building process. After closing you are treated like chopped liver. Issues that were promised upon signing off on the final inspection prior to closing are ignored despite numerous texts and emails. Love my home but very disappointed in the lack of communication. The Field Engineers should be required to take a course on how to communicate with their clients.

I have had worker throw their trash on the ground across from where I live and not picking up after themselves which in turn blows into my yard. I’ve been filling up my own container full of energy drink cans, fast food wrappers and plastic foom. This probably sounds minimal but is turning into a everyday occurrence. What do you think that conveys to new buyers when the new house across the street is covered in trash from the workers. We like the house but you need to do better.

Good design but not good quality control

There are good things about this home but too many little problems and some bigger ones. Hardwood floors had a lot of glue on them, island outlets had no electricity for a month, overflow in bathroom tub was not installed correctly so water flooded, paint was on floors from touch up etc. Chips in doors, tile cracked

Pulte builder sells itself as one step above the other builders. I've worked with 3 builders in the last 8 years and Pulte is barely as good as the other builders. I've found that their people only care about one thing: Reviews. I didn't appreciate how many times they mentioned it. Due to covid circumstances, our house closing was delayed by a total of 5 months, which I don't hold them accountable to. It's what it is. The house itself is well built, nothing special compared to meritage homes for example. Some of the materials used and insulation, wasn't as good as meritage's for example. ...

Overall sales experience was good. Delivery and follow up after home was done was not good. Home was not clean at delivery. Paint still on floors, windows not clean and too many items on punch list. Not sure I would build with Pulte again.

The poor quality during the build.

I was able to watch the house being built. I have a niece that purchased around the same time her house was LGI. The quality on her home was much better. The fit of the framing we had cracked studs large gaps in cross pieces patched in with 6 so so nails. overall I would not purchase another Pulte home.

They were in such a rush to complete the interior of the home that quite a few mistakes were made such as uneven floors, uncorked windows and scantily painted window panels, cuffed and splitting door frames, doorknob placed backwards and mal-adjusted kitchen cabinet doors. The list goes on. They tend schedule final walk through 2 days before closing and many issues go unresolved thereafter.

Pulte has beautiful homes and great features but the final quality work lacks making for a disappointing experience. They take great upgrades and don’t watch carefully how the final touches are being complete and that’s where the quality suffers.

The home is aesthetically pleasing - just as in pictures of the models. However, the quality of finish leaves much to be desired. There is a time-frame in which the new homeowner is allowed to "point out" issues that need attention. The Pulte representatives are accessible through appointments and do inspect and view homeowners' issues, but also note that they "can't keep an eye on every contractor during the building process". Things were not smooth since start and then issues with construction, delay in the closing and now going through the issues that I'm seeing in the house that were noted at the time of closing and here after 2 month still not fully taken care. And seeing the how much least bother the Pulte group is in resolving these issues. I would recommend to buy some older house instead.

If what you are looking for is quality work with a builder who is proactive in satisfactorily remedying workmanship issues then this isn't the builder for you. The home overall is in good condition however the subcontractors used by the builder were primarily people who could fog a mirror not specializing in their specific craft and the quality of the work speaks for itself. The builder's idea of remedying the workmanship is far from what you would expect for a new home or from a builder of this magnitude. In fact, I would be embarrassed to resale my home with some of the work that was done ...
