Material used is low quality and workmanship is sub-standard. We have been in the home for 4 weeks and some of carpeting is already coming off at the seams. Some of the tiles on the floor are damaged, door knobs are loose and some doors do not shut properly. Kitchen drawers are not aligned properly. A large package (mattress) that was erroneously delivered prior to our closing date, was stolen by someone on site - which the crew could and should have left in the garage or inside the house. House and garage were not cleaned before we move-in date.

The home appears to be in great shape; the problem is with the other factors that go into building a home from the ground up. The overall administrative function, the loan processing process, and delivery of the home was terrible. As I stated earlier, the house appears to be built solidly, but everything else was a COMPLETE mess.

Zero customer service from sales agent

We signed up for a home and until we pay the earnest money, the sales rep was behind us and after that she never responded to our emails / texts or any questions. I will never buy from Pulte again.

Awful workmanship.

The quality and workmanship not good and we are very dissapointed. From painting, uneven walls, hole on the ceiling, misaligned lights, sub standard undersink tubings that is waiting to burst and leak water, the awful sound of water hammer or knocking sound that I do not know where it's coming from that I always hear inside master bedroom, the uneven pavement outside my home that's collecting water and never dries out, the gap in my kitchen cabinet trim and etc. For a home worth $600,000....

I will never do business with Pulte again. The Company only cares about the bottom line and they know that once they’ve got you in a contract they have the upper hand, so they will take advantage of that. If you’re considering buying a new home, stay away from Pulte. There are plenty of other builders who will offer you the same warranty they do, but they will treat you like a customer, not prey.

Buyer Beware Terrible Service Sloppy Finish Work

We were excited to move in. However we have found 3 pages of poor workmanship issues. We submitted tickets for all. Customer Service keeps making appointments to fix the issues but never show up. Stayed home from work last week to meet with Pulte no show no call. ai guess I am stuck with Pulte’s lousy work.

Bad experience after closing

I had the great experience while making the offer on the house. The agent was super responsive and provide all the information in timely manner. However after closing builder did not complete the remaining repairs as they promised and as sign in the contract. It took almost 2 months to get those issues addressed after the closing. I needed to follow up multiple times on those repairs. They even lied mentioning everything fixed even when none of those items were addressed. It became very hard to trust.

There is no light in the toilet room. They placed a handicap bar behind the toilet, that is of no help to my husband. The towel bar is in the toilet room and not next to the sink. There is a 6 inch border going into the shower so it is not handicap accessible. The cabinets are made of some material that is not wood. The toilet paper holders are plastic. The appliances are the cheapest and bottom of the line you can find anywhere. The "gathering room" is a misnomer as it can only accommodate 3 people. They did not have a model to see before buying, only a floor plan and misleading ...

Post buying experience difficulties

Pulte has bitten off more they can chew. Sales associates rush you through bid process and choosing finishes. Builders are under pressure to finish in a certain time frame, hired workers who do not care about workmanship, and rushed to complete builds in the last days. It shows. I am shocked at the lack of quality in the workmanship of my new home. I have a long list of items that I should not have to contact the builder to fix. It's a matter of thoroughness, which Pulte does not follow at all.

I don't think I would ever go with Pulte Homes again in my life. The buying and building process was okay. I'm very very disappointed with the quality of workmanship and materials used in the home even with everything upgraded. I feel like I overpaid by a lot compared to the value I received in the home. Most of the items marked to get fixed during the final walkthrough were not fixed as they had only kept 2 day window between the final walkthrough and the closing. Underwhelming Experience and Customer Responsiveness

Quality of workmanship is above average, but there are definitive flaws with the angles of the walls and doors. There are many walls and doors that are crooked and bowing right now (before settling). Our interiors doors were poorly installed; some simply don't latch properly, others latch with effort. One of our initial concerns is that we had three construction managers. It's not like the model

We have somewhere around 100 footprints on our driveway from workers with concrete on their boots! We have dead plants because they were installed and not watered until after 3 weeks! We have tile in the shower that looks like a first grader installed it !The pocket door to that bath is 1 inch wider at the bottom of the frame than the top of the frame! There is a column it the hallway that is at least 1 inch out of square! That is what we paid too much for in this home! Not the quality we expect for the price we payed

To many things wrong at closing for the money we paid. Shotty workmanship on alot of different trades within the home. 6 weeks after move in, many of the fixes we have requested are still not fixed. Pretty obvious the trades do not care your home. Trying to get in and out as fast as possible. If they don’t have a part to something, they just leave it as is and move on to the next job. No accountability on the subs, the Pulte project managers need to do a lot better job holding the trades accountable. This is definition of over promise and under deliver.

Agent was not educated on PA content, nor had the ability to adjust PA to fit purchasers needs. Substance in the home is poor in quality and finishes that I feel should be improved. Response from construction manager was perfect. However he seemed to be limited to what could be corrected and improved on. Again, finishes by Pulte should be improved on so that new owners are not immediately putting thousands of dollars into finishing appropriately. Site manger just let anything pass once we moved in we found a lot of thing wrong and brought up to building manager let warranty handle it they will fix it we had 67 items on the list they have to come back and fix and a few of the item they had to come multiple times to fix

while there were some aspects of the project that were completed to my satisfaction, there were also areas where I felt that improvements could be made. One specific area of concern for me was the communication throughout the project. I often found it difficult to get in touch with someone from your team, and when I did, I didn't always receive prompt or clear responses to my questions. This caused some delays and added stress to the project.

The build quality and finish is below expectations. I never expected this from pulte and will not recommend friends to buy a home built by them. A new home doesn’t look new it looks like construction team was tried to complete this project asap.

Home wasn't completed during the timeframe given, and there was never any communication from Pulte unless I initiated it. Excuses were the norm during the process, and even after I'm still waiting on things to be resolved!

Not the experience I paid for

Had our construction manager quit 2 weeks before our house was supposed to close and realized he hadn’t cared for weeks. Had so many things wrong at our walk through. Pushed closing back a few days. Still have multiple thongs on the outside wrong. Dishwasher has never worked, still waiting in parts. Water heater was broke from the electrical people turning it on without water. Still waiting for cabinets to be fixed for the 2nd time.
