The quality of construction is not up to the mark, construction finishing is not satisfactory. Painting is not done as expected. Quality for components used is very low quality.

The builder is a very trustworthy person that does not cut any corners when building your future home. They use good quality supplies and completed the project on a timely matter.

Quality of construction is not that great. It looks like the team is in a hurry to get the project completed and move on to a new one. Response to issues is very slow and things promised to be taken care of have not been addressed.

Pulte Homes builds some of the best quality homes out there. Compared to other developers we toured during our home purchase experience, none met the quality of Pulte.

Process is extremely cumbersome. Pulte takes longer than advertised times for each phase of loan approval. Constantly asking for same documents all the time (pay stubs, bank statements, etc.)

Worst builder ever and lot of quality issues

Wouldn't purchase and build without being on site to periodically check quality. Had I not, there would have been a much bigger and more complex "punch" list.

What is considered standard is very cheap. Nickle and dime you to include any upgrades.

There can be more value addition for the money paid for house. Builder should be having more professional staff for interior painting and trim works.

Home is beautiful. Salesperson should reference a list of options to go over with home buyer-not rely on home buyer discovering that something wasn’t even offered during the building process. Also, salesperson strongly suggested that I not get the backsplash option for my kitchen, and do it myself, but when I thought it through and thought that because I bought a range tower exhaust, it might be wise to have the builder do the backsplash was abruptly told by the salesperson that it was too late and I had to do it myself, regardless of my willingness to pay the $500 change fee. When I made onsite visits, I was appalled to see that workers left empty bottles and cups and trash in my new Kohler bathtubs and that one window screen was severely trashed and on the floor in the garage. Field manager said that as a homebuyer, I could call at any time and he would respond—-not true.....never returned phone calls. Salesperson and field manager blamed the US Post Office for placement and assignment of mailboxes. Was told by both the salesperson and the field manger that my mailbox would be right across the street from my house....not true....discovered after closing that my mailbox was not one of the four towers across the street from me, but one block over. Field manager blamed landscaping company for not installing sod until day after I closed on the house, which benefitted the builder because builder didn’t have to pay the water bill for watering sod. Names of streets are confusing....One half of a block is Samantha Joy Lane and the other half is Samantha Joy Court. Mail is messed up because the numbering duplicates numbers of houses on other streets and mail carriers are severely confused. Construction traffic oftentimes blocks the mailboxes so that those of us residents who have to drive to our mailboxes cannot stop and safely get out to check the mail. I could write a book about all my frustrations with my new home and working with Pulte field staff. In short, they have promised us a lot and delivered on very little. Lots of items remained to be fixed or completed at closing, and after 40 days not much as been fixed. The only way to get things done is to send angry emails. Paint was spilled by the painters on the brand new carpet, and the tile on the kitchen backsplash is crooked. My Pulte field manager really doesn't care about fixing any of it. Overall build quality seems acceptable, but the finishing work was super sloppy. I doubt I would buy a Pulte home again. ... More

Pulte builder team is amazing, Sales team including Sam and Sophia were excellent with communication as lots were coming up, we really enjoyed the Design center appointments, with this product line, Pulte should include larger tile with more colors, more selection in the countertop and cabinets. Most other builders are giving white cabinets, toffe cabinets as basic options to select from, Also the Counter tops should allow buyers to select from Quartz and Granite, No other builder is using the light cream 16 *16 tiles as basic options. Other builders in the area are offereing 18*18 as standard tiles with 4 colors to select from. Also the entire house is painted with one color. Most builder are including 2 tone paint, semi gloss in wet areas, shelves, bathroom, laundry. The basic paint you are offering required immediate painting. When we move into home and spend so much money, the basic paint should be something livable. Other Builders are giving the following, 2 tone paint, including recess lights in all area including garage, storage. We chose to go with Pulte as the product design and floor plan. The base price should include other items. The construction manager Walt has done an excellent job in building our home. He looked at all small details and the final walk was very simple few small items and they were done prior to close of Escrow. We really enjoying building our home with Pulte and hope they include few more options in the future community. ... More

All Pulte personnel acted in candid and professional manner from sales to finance to construction. However the home still has numerous punch list items to complete now one month after closing and no reliable information on when items will be completed. Punch list items are part of any complex construction project and Pulte must do a much better job of organizing in this area. It seems the priority is to just get to financial closing, not to actual job completed.

It's a great home. We have had some minor issues that we continue to discover as we live here. For example, one of our AC vents is blocked and covered with plastic, the faucets in our bathroom were not properly attached to the countertop, there is some damage to some of the baseboards in the home, and two of the doors in our home (including the front door) had damage that should have been caught. That said, Pulte has addressed or will address all of these issues and we are confident that Pulte will be there for us if we have any future problems. We do think they need to do a slightly better job on the quality control front. We'd rather wait a little longer if it means less warranty appointments we have to deal with after moving into the home. When we compare the Pulte homes to the other builders in the area, we feel that Pulte's home designs are better, their lots are significantly bigger, and we love the neighborhood they have developed. All in all, we would recommend them to friends and family. ... More

Good experience. Much of home is great but Carpet, thermostat, garage finish are all low quality for price of home. Very responsive to items that need to be repaired

I've purchased and built 3 homes. This was the worst experience ever. I don't know if it is a lack of staff or expertise. The builder was nice and always well-mannered and that's the only positive thing to say. I felt that we were managing the actual build of the home because of all of the quality issues that we raised that would not have been addressed. We had to monitor every selection we made to make sure it was correct, including colors, size, shapes. We purchased numerous add ons. When we moved into the home it was as if the builder did the bare minimum to get a building up and operational. Poor quality painting, poor quality tile, molding not painted, the home had paint, spackle, grout, etc. throughout the home on the day of move in. The home was poorly cleaned on move-in. This is my wife's second time with this builder because the quality was very good on the first build. I wouldn't recommend this builder to any one if this is the experience expected. ... More
