Pulte asked me many times throughout the building process if I thought I was getting a quality home. I would tell them that I can’t possibly know that yet. Now that I’ve moved in; yeah, if this is Pulte quality, cosmetically it’s pretty awful. Can’t say too much about the functionality of everything as I’ve only lived here a month, but the price of the home is not consistent with the quality. It’s disappointing finding new issues on a daily basis.

Our build was extremely slow. It seemed nothing would happen until I’d reach out to the project manager. Then a flurry of activity for a few days, then nothing. Quality of craftsmanship is terrible. I’m convinced there’s not a straight wall in the entire house. I met with the warranty department shortly after we closed to go over my four page list of concerns. After a month of silence I reached back out and was told the person I met with is no longer employed. There’s only one cabinet note about our meeting. We’ll have to start over! Frustrating….

Originally I was very impressed with the quality of work when walking through the houses. After almost completely going through the process we find out we should have had a couple of walkthroughs as the house was being built. The only walk through we had was during the final punch list. During the punch list numerous issues were found and unless specifically written they won’t try to fix even if mentioned. We tapped a lot of errors, but they were overlooked. Given today’s current market and high interest rates, homes are more expensive than what one might unit expect; that should make the quality and care better alone! Unfortunately, the product we received at the end was flawed. Our home had minor issues that we hoped would be resolved in a timely manner and through miscommunication and error, we still sit with those issues unresolved (paint, drywall, doors…). Pulte Mortgage loan consultants are arrogant people. For every question you ask, the response starts with you signed this document. They would deduct appraisal fees on a lot that didn't even get a permit, no clear communication about when money will be deducted and for what purpose, basically customer service is non-existent, and their attitude is like you're stuck with us. The Good: We were kept up to date all the time by the Field Manager. He was very helpful and always willing to answer any questions we had. After closing our warranty person was also incredibly helpful. The post closing warranty is quickly righting a lot of the wrongs stated in the bad. However, initial impressions of the Pulte Quality of the home were not good in a home that costs well into the seven figures. I think there are things that can be improved such as the quality of the toilets, the keys to the bathrooms, showers, kitchen equipment is of low quality, the entrance to the house and the backyard is as if it were under construction, only cement, the poles of the fence are made of wood and not metal, they gave me the house without gutters, it is strange because all the others are delivered like this. The design and colors are great, the rest of the materials are good.

Pulte is a production builder. Did not realize initially that term had some negative connotations, including lack of flexibility and occasional poor workmanship and materials. Follow up and call back fixes are numerous and response is slow. Knowing what I know now, I would give give much more consideration to alternatives. My expectations may have been too high but it is what it is and trying to make the best of it.

A lot of people are a part of the home buying process which created unneccessary headaches due to communication issues. Once in the home there have been NUMEROUS quality issues that were missed during the repair time after the walkthrough. Some things were covered up and would never have been discovered until they became an issue if it wasnt for the fact that we decided to change some fixtures. There are lots of issues after closing mostly cosmetic but they are not being addressed timely broken sinks , fireplace rock falling out, doors and bathroom hardware not installed correctly, irrigation exposed , cabinet doors loose or falling apart, scratches on cabinets and appliances, floors were left with huge amounts of grout on tiles that was not cleaned out after the fact, blinds that do not work properly, paid for cabinet hardware that has not been installed 1 month and a half after closing, overall responsiveness to issue is terrible

its great The home have alot of space but there are things that is very poor quality. The poor quality are 1. Windows. some windows leaks and creates draft air, call pulte to come look at the issue they said it normal, I am an home owner and fixed houses every now and then so I know when something is wrong, but pulte will not admit it and said air draft from windows are normal, pulte even mention that their windows are mid grade, to me it is the cheapest on the market. We had no heat in the house for the first 3 days we moved into the house. Pulte warranty dept was very slow in responding. Temp in the house was 67 degrees. With 3 small children this was unacceptable. Stacy customer care manager was very adversarial instead of trying to get the problem fixed ASAP. Still having issues with the home and Stacy. Very dissatisfied. Third Pulte home we purchased. This by far is the worst experience. Had no issues with our Pulte homes in Florida. California service is disappointing

I have closed my home during Thanks giving. The response from the Sales team and initial Construction manager was very good. They helped me clarifying all my doubts. But post closing, the new construction manager uis not responsive and corporative at all. He denied working on the exception items as he didn't receive it from previous manager and asked me to contact warranty team. I contacted warranty team and received a note that it has been passed to my warranty manager. Its been 2 weeks now and no one contacted me for my open items.

Andy and Ryan were phenomenal as Project Manager/Sales Rep. The trades were beyond horrible with craftmanship and response times. Crooked drywall, crooked cabinets, crooked countertops, and crooked door trim and frames awaited me everywhere on the day of my closing. During the build, the trades were scheduled for a certain day and/or time, which was relayed to me by Andy, but when I would check on the house, that particular item was not completed. Overall the homes and the community are beautiful. The exterior aesthetic is different than most builders currently. I fell in love with the open layout design of the Isleton model, particularly the rear kitchen. However, a lot of the luxury options are not included with Pulte as they are with other builders. For starters, when doing the 2-hour walk-through, instead of getting some explanations all we got were excuses. The home buying experience with Pulte is well organized for Pulte, but from the buyer's perspective there is plenty of room for improvement. Soon after signing the contract we asked for some information specific to our housing design and Pulte was non-responsive. However, weeks later Pulte needed to alter the contract as they could not deliver the kitchen appliances they agreed to and we refused to sign the addendum until they provided the information we requested.
