very bad at doing follow up repairs you have to stay like honey to a bee to get pulte to get things fixed, its very time consuming and frustrating to get them on top of things

Everything starts out well and goes smooth until about 6+ months in. Completion seemed to drag out well past what we thought but then finally wrapped up very quickly at the end but with items still left to be completed after closing. You obviously agree because you’ve been waiting so long and are just ready to close. Once you close it’s like pulling teeth to get those leftover items completed. I’m still waiting on things to be completed and I’ve been in the house for 3 months.

One has to really plan well in buying home with Pulte. As soon as you make buying decision, they give no time in deciding about the upgrades. They dont have any 3d tools to show the upgrades. In one two hours everything needs to be decided with no chance to revisit the options. They are inflexible and their contract is one sided. For example as a buyer we cannot move the closing date but they can move the closing dates. Beware: they will try to close the house much before it is actually finished. Dont agree to it, it takes long time to get the pending issues complete. I have closed house six weeks back, the issues are still pending. The build quality is bad and hasty. Please have a home inspector to review everything. Specially watch for the paint and plumbing. Their internal inspection is not very good and everything is outsourced to the vendors. Please be very careful in choosing the lot. They may say your lot size is .5 acre but they may leave a lot of wooded area. You have to ask in how much area they will put the grass and what they will leave wooded. They will even leave the construction material in the woods, ask them to clean it. Buying a new build with Pulte was a mixed experience. Their communication process with us was okay but there are alot of problems that we’ve experienced since moving into the house that was supposed to be fixed before close. They took it down to the last minute and assured us that everything that needed to be fixed would still be fixed after closing and that hasn’t happened. We had a 30 day check in and everything that we pointed out during the check in still hasn’t been fixed. At this point we feel like we’ve been strung along in regards to the existing house problems that were present during the close. The sales agents we dealt with were great to work with. Our second project manager was significantly better than the first one. We’re just very disappointed that none of the issues that we pointed out during the 30 day and even before close were addressed and we keep hearing the same answer of “oh I’ll reach out to the crews and get back to you”. ... Bad communications and expectations.

First off, we love our new Pulte home. For the most part, we are very happy with the home, our upgrades, and the quality. During the process of working with Diane (sales office) and Jake (construction manager), we have been impressed with the time taken to provide details and inform us of the construction process along the way. Unfortunately, at the end of the process and now, 1.5 months of ownership, we most certainly do not feel like a priority any longer, nor do neighbors that we have spoken to. Jake the construction manager turned over the responsibilities for closing out our home to his assistant, Kyle. First, Kyle changed our closing date without informing the Title Company or me and my wife. During the walkthrough he did a good job walking the house and his crews followed up on most needed quick fixes. However, when pointing out stains in the carpet upstairs, he said he would send a carpet cleaner. That never happened. We decided to live with the stains and will work to remove the stains ourselves. The next item, which is major to me and my wife is that our kitchen cabinets are still not fixed. There are several molding pieces missing, a cabinet side missing, self-closing drawers that do not close, and the nail holes/scratches have not been covered. Kyle indicated that he ordered the parts and that they should be received within a week or so. The cabinet parts have still not been received 1.5 months in and Kyle is extremely slow to reply or give adequate updates when he does respond. When reaching out to Jake to obtain an update he pushes the responsibility onto Kyle. We paid an awful lot for this chef's kitchen and we want to fully enjoy it. Lastly, we still do not have our smart lock for the front door. When the smart home installer called Kyle about the lock, Kyle indicated it was on backorder after checking around. Kyle never informed us it was on backorder. 1.5 months in and no smart lock. Is the problem the two different companies not being responsive, or is the problem our construction management? To us, it doesn't matter...we just want our home to be finished and have what we paid for. Overall, like I said, we love our home. But, as soon as Pulte received our money, we certainly do not feel like a priority to Pulte Chasewood's team. That is very disappointing! ... More

Pulte let their deadlines and we close on our house on time. Once they sell you their house, however, their customer service is poor.

we have a lots of issues at home we called them several times it takes more than a month before they do an action. some of our appliances ang not in good condition not working.

After paying 500k for my home. I feel the home is not that great quality especially the doors they are so poor in quality.

Pulte mortgage and the sales person we dealt with were phenomenal…..the craftsmanship and quality of work in the house is sub par

During the build process everyone was easy to work with and responsive. Then we moved in and things changed. Leaky pipes, broken supply vents, missing vent for the over the stove microwave are all things that should have been right before closing but weren't. Now, the construction crew ignores us. We're told to contact the warranty department, who tells us it will be taken care of but nothing happens. The items needing fixing are small, but the hassle of getting them fixed are very annoying. Paint is of poor quality and very thin. Finish work is lazy and lacks detail required of finish work, trim is done with 45s in some places and just pressed against each other in others, house was super dirty when we got keys, the ac filters were so clogged it was making a whistling sound because the air was going around the filter. Counter top was cracked they tried to say it was a fissure and then changed the definition through out to fit their benefit. The house was lazily went through with touch up paint that ended up on cabinets and other places that it shouldn’t been on. First let me say we do like our new home. During building we had to contact the project manager due to poor workmanship and poor overall quality of finished work. Our major issue that remains unresolved and frankly ignored by Pulte is the driveway. We purchased this model to have two bays one specifically for a golf cart. The driveway is too narrow and of shape making it impossible to use the golf cart bay. We are reaching our tolerance for action by Pulte and reaching out for legal advice.

Home buying process was okay, could have been better. Financing was okay but mostly because we were on top of it and kept following up with Pulte. They sent us letters twice saying we were not compliant even though we had submitted all the paperwork they asked for. Freaked us out but when we called they said to disregard and they would look into it. Lots of problems with the cosmetics lien paint splatters all over my countertops, neon orange spray paint on baseboards, construction manager missed an appointment where my mom drove an hour to attend, chips in my bathtubs and counter tops that need to be fixed, messy paint job on top of windows, etc. and poor insulation you can hear every toilet flush and shower really loud. They said nothing they can do about it. And the fridge we ordered is not here yet with no ETA update. ... More

We closed our house with a couple unfixed issues. And as we moved in, we found more issues on the flooring and AC installation. So we have to contact the warranty team to fix them, But they just replied and then disappeared for two months. They do not care about you at all once your house is closed. So make sure you check everything carefully before closing.

Material quality is poor, House wasn’t ready even after closing with tons of things to be fixed including pool heater, water pressure, final paint, cleaning of the property, water in shower was backing up as a result of construction remains in pipes. Bathroom cabinet had a hole right next to toilet holder, bought this home being from out of state and agent did the walk through

Still waiting for hole in garage wall to be fixed from leak. Still waiting for promised items to be delivered and installed dating back to walk through nearly 2 months ago.

While we love our new home there are shortcomings. The delivery was rushed and felt as if there were numerous items either damaged, not working, or missing or unfinished. We moved in almost two months ago and only one item of several has been addressed. We still don’t have cold running water, but the vast majority are damaged or cosmetic items. While the price you pay is subjective I feel we paid a large premium for a sub par product in the end with slow service after the sale. There are only so many excuses of trades not being available and supply chain issues which is why we rated the experience as average but how things are handled and once resolved to our satisfaction will ultimately drive our final opinion of if we would recommend or use Pulte in the future. ... Good Side - Dealing with the Production Manager was excellent. He was one of the best crew members I dealt with. He was very co-operative in every stage of the work. Bade Side - My 3 star rating is mainly due to to incomplete work that Pulte has done in my house. At closing the master bed shower glass was not installed and Pulte committed me with a date of 07/08. However further to that there is no follow-up being done nor any updates are shared with me. I had multiple calls with the Prod Manager but he does not seem to have any update from Atlanta Glass Door company. But at the same time I also see the glass door getting fitted in other houses which were closed along with me as well as few which are not yet closed or closed after mine. It is more than a month now after closing and my shower glass door is not yet installed. I had few complaints and issues for certain things not working properly in the house for which I had to reach out the service warranty department. I raised service requests with them for couple of issue but had no luck to get the problem fixed. It is been more that 2 weeks, I haven't got any update on that. ... More

Pros: Design, Appointments at various stages to go over the details, construction team responsiveness. Cons: Mortgage options, Quality of materials, promised appliances but not delivered instead refunded old prices in a high inflation period, huge delays in delivery timelines. Overall: If I get a time machine, I would choose another top builder.

After 6 months of waiting, which was fair and understandable due to supply chain issues, the final product had several issues upon move in. 1. AC was not working upon move in and we had stay at a hotel on our first night after driving from San Diego, CA. My family was exhausted from the cross country trip, only to come home to an oven. 2. Poor craftsmanship on the home. Lots of details missed put together poorly. Far from professional work. I’ve been in Open Houses of much older homes that had better craftsmanship. 3. Plumping issues Definitely not what we expected. To top it off, the HOA chosen is the worst possible choice to manage the property. The online reviews on this HOA is 100% accurate. Sale support is great. But quality of workmanship is questionable. Tile lippages are obvious in many place at family room. Paint left on hinges and door handles. Some repair requests are ignored and not fixed. Wall oven and microwave oven touch screen is broken. One shower drainage is clogged. Bottom coroners of counter top look old and need touchup.

Limited options, Painting work is poor, rough plumbing for basement bathroom not laid out correctly.

After closing and Pulte has their money ; response is poor to any items required for completion. Do not have any items to complete after closing.
