This was the third home we’ve purchased, second one we’ve built, and this was by far the worst experience of the three. Communication was non-existent, deadlines didn’t matter, and the finishing work on the house could’ve been done better by a high schooler. The only saving grace is the location of the property, the schools, and our community. We have great neighbors and live in a great area.

Watch any deals they offer, those tend to disappear! Quality of paint and trim work is extremely poor. The painters will paint over dirt and anything on walls without wiping them down first. House looks great if you aren't one to pay attention to details.

Pulte was a good company. I remember my friends houses 15 years ago with Pulte, they were excellent in quality. Now, in my own experience, the quality is from low to average. They are not into details anymore, you will see excess grouting, floor tiles are not even, walls corners are not straight electric switch are opposite and other stuff. This are the things that you see, the question is, how about the things that you don’t see, like the structure, framings, etc. I’m just hope and pray that everything is within standards.

Do your homework. Pay attention. Ask questions. Don't expect honesty, demand it. Follow up if something is not correct. Elevate issues immediately. Give yourself at least 30 days to be in your new home prior to providing a home builder rating.

Our general contractor was great on trying to get things done with the backlog of materials being done, but some of the trades were not as quality in their work ethics as they should have been. Trying to get issues (minor or major) resolved has been challenging once you go to settlement.

The sales and builder was good. Problem occurred after we moved in. Our builder has done everything right, but we have several things that need to be fixed and the contractors that need to fix them either don't show up or they never have the right products when they arrive. It's a 4 hour window they can arrive. So it's either ruining my morning or afternoon by sitting at my house. Just getting very annoying. I feel bad for our builder because he has done everything right. It's the people Pulte has chosen to do the work.

Everything about this experience was, “just ok.” This is not to take away from any of the persons involved in the process. We never had a bad experience with a single person involved in this transaction. However, from the choices in the design center to truly shoddy work throughout the home. There is still a hole in the concrete near the foundation of our home. There are patches of compound that were not properly sanded or painted over. This is our second Pulte home we have owned over the past 5 years. The first one went great During the beginning of our home buying/building it went fabulous. During the middle and end was a different story. We knew about delays and could understand that. Unfortunately, Pulte didn’t have any quality control when it came time for the finished product. My project manager did a great job communicating with me during the build process. However a week before closing we were assure things would be fixed by closing and they were not. Then we were assured they would take care of it while we were in the house. When we followed up we were told we had to put in warranty tickets. Now we've been in the home two months, our doors are not aligned, tile is crooked and chipped, and my floors are not level.

We are a first time home buyers. We have zero knowledge on the upgrades and options. It would have been helpful if sales could have told about the major selling upgrades we would have gone with them. We miss a few now which we regret to not have them. Second, I felt Pulte is not fair to all home owners. They finished the garage of almost every home owner missing a couple and when asked about it they gave some crappy answers. Our project manager and sales rep were very friendly. However their construction motto seems to be build the house quick and cheap, then attempt to fix only what the homebuyer catches. Some workmanship errors have been corrected - still waiting on many others.

Home is beautiful. Salesperson should reference a list of options to go over with home buyer-not rely on home buyer discovering that something wasn’t even offered during the building process. Also, salesperson strongly suggested that I not get the backsplash option for my kitchen, and do it myself, but when I thought it through and thought that because I bought a range tower exhaust, it might be wise to have the builder do the backsplash was abruptly told by the salesperson that it was too late and I had to do it myself, regardless of my willingness to pay the $500 change fee.
