It was frustrating and disheartening to watch, after we had moved in, several homes in the neighborhood be completed, with driveways installed, while we waited. It is apparent to us that Pulte only cared about getting us Closed; after that we were put to the back of line.

The sales team and building team were fantastic.

We have had a great experience with Pulte homes and are so happy with our new home.

The buying of our house was smooth and I want to state thet we were consistently backed up in our eventual concerns.

Overall home is wonderful. Where they fall short - is the attention to detail due to the number of homes they build. For EG: Our home - has uneven floors, misaligned cabinet, cleaning of the home when handover was poor (windows, floors etc), Trees leaning outside and much much more

The workmanship was poor. The painting is awful (Walls, doors, rails.. everything) - Half of the doors are misaligned - water leaking from the shower (what we did mention before moving-in but they didn't care) - The gutter broke just in a month and downspout missing The field manager promised to have the issues fixed but never did so! They cut corners as much as possible. I regret buying this house, wish I had shopped with a different builder. They show you the model house but the quality of what they build for you is poor. Very disappointed .....

Pulte requires that you buy appliances through them. The washer and dryer were installed and no consideration was given to the installation of a countertop being placed over them. There is not sufficient ductwork, gas line and plumbing to allow working on the appliances. Pulte has yet to respond.

The best homebuying experience ever!

Overall the experience was good. After you move in, the service was ok. It is the home owner's responsibility to contact the individual contractors if there are an issue instead of calling Pulte.

There's no communication between the superintendent and the sales side. Over and over again we were called about setting a closing date when the house wasn't even finished yet. It's 2 months after closing, and we still don't have a replacement garage door panel. This was documented that this still needed to be replaced after closing. We also had a plumbing leak recently, and no one told us when the plumbers would show up. They just showed up with no heads up. The plumbing leak was because someone installed a toilet with a broken base. I mean come on if you break the base of the toilet you don't just install it anyway. Currently the ceiling in our downstairs bedroom closet is ripped out because the plumbers needed to find the leak, and the leak had destroyed the dry wall anyways. I submitted a warranty claim to fix this a day ago, and still haven't heard back. Communication from anyone from Pulte in NM is awful. I emailed Rebecca (who we are supposed to contact for warranty claims) about also needing the drywall fixed and painted, but never heard back so I submitted another warranty claim. You shouldn't have to submit warranty claims for every step of the solution to a problem that was the result of careless workers in the first place. Time consuming and frustrating. I also submitted a warranty claim about getting sink holes fixed underneath our driveway. All I got was a "someone will fix it in a few weeks". When I asked when we could expect it to be fixed I received no reply. Needless to say, it's been 2 weeks and the sink holes aren't fixed, and I haven't heard from anyone about fixing them. Other things that were frustrating was the house not being cleaned before our stuff was moved in. Someone had vacuumed, but the floors were filthy and even though we were promised someone would be there to clean the morning before our furniture was delivered, it never happened. Another thing to note is that whoever installed the cabinets did so very carelessly as they were badly scratched up. We went through with a furniture marker to fix this. The shower also wasn't appropriately sealed so water poured out every time we showered. Some clear caulking fixed this, but again it's just really careless work. The design of the home is great, but I honestly can't say I'd recommend buying a Pulte home due to these issues. ... More

We love our townhome and the building process was great.

Overall I’m happy with the house.

Incredible Sales Personnel who really care about you, the home buyer. And we really appreciated the weekly meetings with our Field Manager (the specific Builder who is assigned to your house). Communication between the home buyer and the builder is excellent. We were impressed that our builder (i.e., Field Manager) for our home had superiors above him who oversaw the building process. ALL Pulte staff were so courteous and helpful. When Pulte says 'the tentative completion date of your house is ____', you can count on it!!

Overall, I’d say our experience has been a solid OK. There was a lack of communication about who was in charge of what aspects of closing, finishing touches, future home issues. Some of the communication problems were COVID related, but then there continued to be issues. A lot of “oh that person told you the wrong thing” kind of situations. Everything that I’ve asked to have fixed has been fixed eventually. It’s hard to tell if this is the experience most people have or if it’s completely a result of covid impacting the business (people quarantined, etc.).

Mixed bag of individuals throughout the process. Some parts went well: our construction site manager is responsive and cares about her work. Sales is typical: brash, not super helpful in reviewing *all* details, very “hands tied” approach. It felt more like a transaction than any partnership. TBD on exterior work and warranties. Talk a good game but I am a bit hesitant to believe it given neighborhood chatter. Do research and be VERY vocal at all stages for your home; it’s not worth it to have surprises come up due to Pulte’s lack of transparency (despite all the workbook binders they provide). ... More

Beautiful dream home came out the way we planned it & wanted it.

The people who sell and build your home are amazing and truly care about your home. The craftsmanship is wonderful. We've been so happy with how our home was built. We also were amazed at all the options you can choose from when selecting finishes. I also love the layout of our home, it's very functional.

Toward the end of our build process we encountered a few problems with about a month or more to go til closing. When brought to the attention of our construction manager they were either down played or we were told it was suppose to be that way. When asked for things to be fixed we were given alternate methods to fix the issue instead of just fixing it the right way the first time. These issues led to moving our closing date multiple times and at the end still had many unfinished problems. These problems were suppose to be fixed immediately after closing in mid March and here we are mid May with the issues still not handled ... More
