I purchased this house because when I came to see the model home, it was elegantly on display without a single defect, so I expected the final home that they will sell me would also be without defects. But the home I walked into has cabinets that are chipped, kitchen island that is not aligned with the center of the kitchen, and molding in the kitchen that is not even painted. The window frames in the kitchen are dented and uneven. Very bad experience after closing with warranty

Very bad experience after closing with warranty team. Aeron in charge had no interest in following up with issues in regards to our driveway pavers which was stained and broke while we were closing, a claim was filed and no answer received, not even a follow up. Very disappointed. The details of the home in general lacked attention, the paint was terrible. Very dissatisfied with pulte.

Pulte did an okay job for us, but we are not 100% satisfied. Now after living in the home for almost 3 months, we feel we overpaid and got a lesser product than what was advertised. Every team we dealt with tried to shift the blame down to the next team, and would consistently tell you that you can't expect things to be done right. After close care is horrible

Every time we submit a claim, we get told “this wasn’t reported during close, so we don’t know who damaged it”. That can be said for anything because it’s such a fine line. Seems a little ridiculous for such an expensive house and things are supposed to be under warranty. I can say the same where they purposely placed things that had flaws where it wouldn’t be obvious without inch by inch inspection.

Within 48 hours of moving in we had to have them come and tear out a shower wall because it was installed improperly. When I went back to the sales office to find out what to do, the sales agent said ‘it’s ok, it’s under warrantee’ like it’s no big deal to have to tear up a bathroom upon moving in to my new home because I don’t have to pay to fix it!!?! Our experience was not the best. We felt pushed and also not heard. We know Pulte is not a custom builder however some of the items we inquired about were brushed aside, not properly addressed and/or we were given wrong information. One of the worst parts of the build was the sloppy nature of the contractors as we pointed out SO many things that needed to get fixed. terrible workmanship

Since moving into our new home there has been issues with fixing the quality of this home such as the woodwork, paint, and the yard. The HOA is non existent and there is trash, dead bushes and trees and old pine straw. The landscaping is NOT what was shown to us that this community would offer nor is the keep up. The amenities don't all work. This place already looks like rental quality. NOT a Pulte community. I have little hope this place will turn around. The only people that were helpful was Scott at the sales center and Darrin who helps with work requests.

Not a Quality Builder

Pulte is a low cost provider of housing and they are trying to be in the luxury segment in a community called ascension. They are out of their league and are not able to meet the expectations of a luxury buyer. The only reason they are getting the prices they are getting is due to the location, not the design or quality of the build. They are so bad with the customer journey and have no business being in this segment of the market. Summerlin (Howard Hughes Corp) is not thinking clearly either. Older Summerlin is so much better. Don’t buy in ascension from pulte if you want to spend $2m+.

Bad Bad and more Bad. I will not be recommending to friends and family. Very cheaply built and all staff have a used car salesman mentality. Been in my home 2 months and I am still trying to get things that were not good before closing.

Sloppy construction everywhere: crooked walls, doors that don’t close, bad trim, messy painting, and caulking that looks like a joke. Add dead sod, flooding, broken sprinklers, and a warranty team that disappears — and that’s life in a Pulte home. Buyer beware.

Bad experience to buy a home at Pulte

Overall, it is not worth to buy the home - house was not ready but pushed to close - after move in, noticed the quality of workmanship and materials are poor - found repair issues more than I expected - the warranty team responses the repair request quick but some vendors are not doing the repair good.

Pulte send the wrong documents to Freedom Insurance and they are charging us so much. They are still charging us for the Cancelation of the old Insurance (Putle Insurance) and they won't update. We are getting a lawyer and we are going to include Pulte for not sending the correct informaiton.

Everything with Sales was good. The construction phase is one where all SawGrass members (my neighbours) had issues with a Construction Manager (Dominick) who talks to customers like piece of trash. I wish i could gives Sales team (Lori) 100/10 and then the next part of construction and post closing experience is 2/10. Definitely do not recommend Pulte at SawGrass till the construction managers learn how to behave with customers. You can buy a bigger house and good construction managers at MI homes

Builder did a terrible job then showed up at my house everyday asking me to give him a 9-10 rating. When sod was put down the crew put sod over a bunch of garbage after I told the builder to make sure the garbage was picked up. Door frames in the house are not flush, lots of pencil makes on the walls where they circled nail spots to fix but never fixed them. Found cigarette butts in the basement where workers were smoking in the home. Drywall has lines and grooves. For $400,000 this home should be perfect but it is not. Mortgage company was a nightmare to deal with. The sales office knew nothing. The construction manager got his good review from me and then ghosted me. I have tried reaching out to the service team to get some things fixed for about six weeks now and still, nothing is fixed. I feel like the materials used to build the house for cheap. And way overpriced. Overall disappointed.

We closed in early April and were told we had no driveway or landscaping due to weather. Later we found out the Pulte was having contracting issues and it took 3 months to complete the work. What was supposed to be an amazing fresh start in a new community is suddenly feeling like "a cash grab" by the builders.
