Very bad construction quality for the price paid. Flooring, painting, cabinets are all of very low quality.

Overall home quality is ok

I had initially worked with a hardworking Pulte team from the start to closing. They were very attentive and did what they could to get me to through my closing. Then closing happened and the quality of service began to taper off. The warranty team and the lack of customer attentiveness and professionalism specifically from my customer care manager has completely tainted my experience from great to terrible. I closed on Dec 1, 2023. It is January 25th and I have not been able to unpack my dishes, some major household furnitures, and quite frankly I have not enjoyed my new home because of the items open. Who would if the place still have blue tape everywhere! My experience with my Customer Care Manager has been a terrible one. I have asked to have someone else work on my warranty requests. I had put this requests on an email that included his manager. I have not received a response from the manager since. I do not want to deal with a Pulte employee that does not want to help with my home issues. I do not want a Customer Care Manager to come into my home ever again and be met with hostility! I have escalated and have asked who I can escalate to but no one from Pulte has responded. I, as a new Pulte homeowner, am very dissatisfied and felt deceived. My voice has not been heard and I truly feel like the Warranty team is now sitting on my issues on purpose because I have been very vocal about my requests for the reasons I noted above, I will think twice before recommending Pulte to my friends and family! ... Many small small issues are there, but customer care is not great and supportive. They never pick the calls at all.

We have purchased four tract homes in the past 25 years. This purchase and closing process went well but the finished product is not what we expected or were assured We were unable to have the house inspected by an independent inspector prior to closing for several reasons. In any event, our post-closing inspection revealed issues of sloppy quality control. We have an extensive punch list. We are disappointed and would not buy a Pulte home again (this is our second). We will not recommend Pulte to others.

We have had nothing but issues since the initial walk through of our home before the actual closing. We still ave items on our punch list still not completed after a month from the closing date. We have had dates for repairs which were cancelled. our oven did not work. The electrician came and discovered it was never hooked up to the electric pane box behind the microwave. The microwave was damaged. It was replaced with a different cheaper model than the original. t The first time we went to use the oven we noticed a chip on the inside door. We have now requested a new oven. Still have not heard when the replacement will come. We ordered flood lights be put at the rear of the house at the time of purchase. These not installed and were on the punch list. After one month they were finally installed but not with the flood light bulbs. I was told the bulbs would be installed - Still waiting. We had an upgraded kitchen put in. A couple of the cabinets are not installed properly and is missing screws in the hinges. The lazy susan in the corner cabinet does not turn properly. A date to repair these problems was scheduled and than cancelled. We are now scheduled for Dec.5th. We have damage to the wall in our kitchen. the repairs were scheduled and then cancelled. We now have been rescheduled for Nov. 30 for the repairs. We are very unhappy with the way all warranty items and additional prepare requests have been handled. ... More

We were in the market for our forever home and our realtor suggested Pulte Homes. We had certain wish list items and found a model home to fit the bill. A Pulte sales agent pushed us toward a quick move-in to save money with the incentives the builder was offering. We toured the model home to compare what we would be getting from our quick move-in and felt like we had a good idea of what we were getting. We voiced our wish list items and it seemed like the quick move-in had most of what we wanted but not all of the items so we went for it. As the building process took place, we quickly noticed our expectations from the model home tour were mismatched. The construction manager provided us with great communication and explanations of what he was handling. We realized the sales agent misled us in many areas of our wish list. We were unhappy with the choices that we had no control over... features available in a non-quick move-in, having two of the same model side by side wasn't a consideration before going under contract but it happened while our home was being built another model of our kind was being built next to us. Given the choice, we would have customized our home but the lot we wanted wasn't released yet. The craftsmanship is what I expect from a quick move-in... quick and sloppy. The vendors are coming out numerous times to address things that should be standard for a new home. We told the builder numerous times during the building to take their time as we wanted it right the first time but no surprise we have a list of issues to be addressed within the first year. Pulte sales need better communication with potential buyers and realistic conversations. The construction team shouldn't have to be the middle man as he is working off a word order while we are left dumbfounded about how details got passed us. The area case manager is friendly, but it is hard to service so many customers promptly. The financing department is friendly in the beginning and as time goes on, they forget previous conversations you have had and ask for more uploads of documents you shared with the team previously. It seems disorganized talking with team members from the West and East for one mortgage application. ... More

Still have a list of things that have not been taken care of that we’re supposed to be done by closing.

The quality of pulte has gone significantly since the covid . It's been 26 days since we moved and we are already seeing the commode water drain peeling of from the wall. Also the windows are of very low quality. They cut corners to save money and make profits with cheap quality materials. Tankless water is making loud noises.

To many issues for a brand new house

Pulte really didnt care if I bought the house or had concerns I wanted addressed/changed. They threathened to cancel my sales agreements if I didnt like the way things were dictated. There attiutude was take it or leave it and they were not very accomodating and didnt seem willing to negotiate....

Please text instead of talking to a person .Make sure you take more time to walk around your house.

Our sales rep was absolutely wonderful so we were very disappointed when there were numerous issues with the home that the warranty team did not address in a prompt matter. We sent multiple emails without any response for several days and it took many more days to get just a few minor things resolved. The other things that need to be corrected still have not been addressed and we will have been in the home for almost 2 months now. We would never choose Pulte again as they seem to stop caring once you close.

After reported the issue as part of new home warranty, it took a long time to schedule the service. Hope Pulte Homes take care of customers even after purchasing a house.

I am very upset at what happened at closing. Up to this point had a great experience with everyone that we had encountered. WE did the walkthrough and labeled A LOT of things with blue tape. Supervisor asked us not to take the survey until he had a chance to fix the things that were tagged. Went to sign paperwork and came back to check on the status of the repairs. Nothing had been worked on but all of the tape was off. Called our realtor and she called the supervisor who told her that he was in the house while repairs were made, and it clearly was not. He also told her that the rest would be done the next day. We got our keys and had a painter lined up so we can paint the colors we wanted and start moving in. Painter refused to work because the quality of what was left was horrible. I was extremely upset so I called the emergency number and spoke to a very nice lady that emailed the supervisor and his boss also about all of the issues. I also sent her many pictures to show her what I was dealing with. Miraculously all of a sudden contractors were brought to the house to complete work that should have been done in the 5 days between the first walkthrough and the signing of the documents. The supervisor reached out to me again and asked me not to take the survey until all repairs were made the correct way. His only concern was the survey, and I was left wondering if that is his concern why didn't the items get taken care of the first time around? ... More

Issue with landscaping, issue with the paint job, not properly inspected by the property construction manager. not even a month after closing so many issues. not sure how many issues are going to arise in the next year.

Poor quality in the house.

From our construction manager revealing pertinent details regarding a defect AFTER handing over the keys to the trades destroying our yard and using our utilities after we moved in, I cannot say that this has been a positive experience. No surprise that everyone was much more helpful prior to close. Now it's difficult to answers. In terms of quality... Everything looks beautiful, but we've already begin seeing signs of poor workmanship. Our pantry cabinet door is already breaking apart (we moved in less than a month ago), the smurf tube feature that was highlighted to conceal wires is a total joke (our 16.5' tv cord isn't long enough to reach the closest outlet), etc. etc. I love our home but I am already disappointed that "The Pulte Way" is merely a selling technique on paper only. ... We had many issues with the build of our house. Poor response to our concerns.

We absolutely love our home but it feels like a façade. The things we marked during the final blue tape inspection were not completed when we moved in. The blue tape was just removed with no repairs. When we had some of the things repaired, the guys repairing them said it was incomplete. The custom shower was installed incorrectly with the water flowing away from the drain, and after a few months it has yet to be repaired. We have multiple work orders in and have documented everything, nonetheless no one seems to ever come repair the major issues. The Garage door is having issues and the chain is loose causing it to snap and bangs loudly, at this point it’s a safety hazard and we have still had nobody come out to fix it. We were told it was a high priority issue because of safety but still no word on the repair. The whole back door jam needs to be replaced and reset. None of the tile grout was sealed on both downstairs floors and bathrooms including the showers. Again, it’s a beautiful home but so much to be repaired it’s exhausting and there is a warranty but it’s taking longer than it should. ... More

For what we paid…we are shocked at how many problems we have. A punch list is expected, but you’re only as good as your subs. And they are terrible. House was filthy upon moving in…walls/pillars visibly not straight…many windows had scrape marks on the trims…paint all over our wood floors which also had quite a few dings (and this was a very expensive upgrade)…pocket doors scraping the jambs (both of which have visible damage)…many broken roof tiles, etc. The list is too long, and many of these things should have been caught by our super (who we like very much) if he had only spent a few minutes to look. We were told that the cleaning crew (after we complained how dirty it was) they use is terrible by our super. He has told his bosses this, but they continue to use them. And that says a lot… The house is beautiful, and we love the neighborhood…but very disappointed in the quality. ... More

The expectations of certain finishes were not met.

Easily identifiable workmanship issues all around. Low quality materials are used everywhere.

The buying process was fast and despite hurdles I received good communication. Since moving in I haven't received follow up with the warranty department at all. Even if there is a delay in processing warranty claims having someone respond would be great.

Not happy at all with the person that did our walk thru both times. He’s no longer on the job site and that’s great news. There are a ton of things he was supposed to address and didn’t. It feels so horrible to spend so much on a house and to see so many imperfections. I don’t understand how my house from 2005 doesn’t have close to the defects this home by Pulte has in 2023. It doesn’t make sense.
