I did not expect this, last new home bought was in 2017. Then and now the differences, the sales office is rude, the first question is what is ur budget? Do u have an appointment (no hi no hello, no greeting). The dry wall contractor and framing contractor and the landscaping sub contractors have done a very poor job and have taken the joy out of new house. This is our third Pulte home and by far the worst workmanship. Work orders are not addressed in a timely manner. The trades do not protect floors, walls, etc while doing work. I have submitted several items to the portal and it takes weeks to get a response after I follow-up.

We were very excited to move into our Pulte Home. We paid a huge premium for our lot which has a lot of natural shrubbery and is a pretty big size. We were told that the lot would be cleaned up prior to move in. Fast forward 2 months after move in, there is still trash, leftover construction materials, a fallen tree trunk, etc on our lot. The lack of care and clean up is holding us back from being able to install a fence and enjoy the lot that we paid for. The house itself is nice, a few minor issues with one of the stovetops not working correctly and not getting the full amount of ship ...

We paid alot for the home but didn't get the quality we expected. From plumbing leaks in ceiling to basement walls leaking. Some of these issues are still not fixed. The delay in these issues getting fixed is causing me a hardship in dealing with cleaning up after repeated leaks and therefore leaving this review.

Paint finish quality is horrible. Peeling and chipping paint on walls and doors already. Drywall feels very weak (crumbles when you put basic drywall screws in to mount anything). I was promised at closing that remaining items on punchlist would be taken care of ASAP after I signed. It has been well over a month and we are still waiting on things to be done. I had to go chasing after them for a lot of things. Took multiple calls and messages before any movement on tasks.

I will never recommend Pulte Homes to anyone. The Quality of workmanship and attention to details are definitely missed through out the house. The quality of materials that are used through out the house are very cheap. Not until you move in would you realize the cheap stuff used through out the house. From the plug points to wooden trims, the flat Paint, Stair Rails and the windows, the Carpet edges ripping off. You will notice it. The HVAC is another problem. I hardly get any Cold/ Hot air in the my Upper floor bedrooms and my Lower floor gets too Cold/ Too Hot. It is so unevenly ...

Rushed to sell the house with broken window and missing features

Builders were in a rush to sell the house. There was a broken window which they were aware of however did not fix. In addition contract had a ring door bell included. They refused to push the closing date regardless of these features not being present. It has been 2 months post closing and both things have not been fixed. Have reached out to them many times however it still has not been addressed. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone

We purchased the house for providing additional space for special needs kid and pulte team agreed to build the house with accessible bathroom on main floor. 1) It took 3 months for the sales person, an architect and designer to come up with plan and in the end bathroom had no overhead light. seles rep was GREAT, the tour of the neighbohood really nice too, the visit to the desing center was very nice and easy however once they started actually building it all went to crap project manger was terrible, his ownership of mistakes and poor workmanship was close to not existent! zero attention to detail - multiple closing reschedules, poor attitude and responsivenes to issues, aweful expreince it seemed like he was working for the tradesmen as if they were paying him and i wasnt the customer whose oppinion and work he should be taking into consoderation....

This is my 3rd Pulte Home, I should have learned my lesson. When we went to the design center to pick materials we we upsold on Quartz Countertops. We picked a design pattern that we liked, and went about our business. The contract clearly said QUARTZ , but when we moved into the home, and within one week the QUARTZ countertop chipped, and stained, we knew something was wrong. we contacted warranty, and during our research we found that they installed a product called Silestone from Consantino. Alot of workmanship issues with the home itself and lack of quality assurance oversight from toilet leaking to refrigerator not working and out of warranty issues, mismatched front door lock and key not working, dishwasher not working, windows not opening. After hours even the emergency warranty line no one will answer the phone, Ive had to go through the sales staff to get things done at times which seems more responsive than the construction manager. Very disapointed in the quality of construction and lack of responsiveness to construction defects.

Lots of pertinent information and decisions were left out of our sales presentations-we always felt "rushed". Then, it was pulling teeth to get appointment at the design center. We were surprised by the number of restrictions, like rectangular sinks, that were not oven offered options. There were a lot of issue due at closing, promised to resolve and is now no one owns it and is a service requests that never gets resolved or taken care of. A lot of the angle cuts on boards in the roof structure were very poor. A lot of drywall screws were sunk to deep. They don’t tie all the corners together structurally resulting in cracks in more than 3/4 of the corners. We had a horrible experience with Pulte. They tried to make us close when the house was nowhere near being complete. Their quality of workmanship is horrible and subpar. We’ve had so many issues in the house. We honestly would probably never build with Pulte again and this is $1 million house. I can imagine what they do for less expensive homes.

The number of problems that we have had in our home have been too many to count. Not only do we have some rather large problems, such as cabinets being gouged, doorbell never working, gas leaking from fireplace, etc, but getting these issues fixed seems to be nearly impossible.

Substandard House for a hefty price tag

The house is built very substandard, from the materials chosen to the workmanship. The house is completely out of square, we have had multiple failures, The worst is the contractors poured thinset down the toilet blocking the pipes, (Still not fixed a month later), so that bathroom can not be used. I would NEVER purchase a home from Pulte again!
