We started building our house at the peak of housing market. The delivery was as scheduled, and we were lucky to have a good deal on mortgage rates (despite the increase). However, the build quality is poor and we have a long list of items to be fixed. I understand the delays due to supply chain issues, but there's no excuse for the lack of quality. It seems like they rushed things and just wanted to deliver. Just looking at the modal house is deceiving (don't expect the same quality/look). I had high expectations for this house, but they didn't meet my expectation at all. The construction is subpar at best. The windows make noises when there is even a little bit of wind, there are very loud ticking sounds through the vents and the pipes are freezing when the temperatures are low. This is Chicago, the winters a cold and harsh so a house should be build sturdy not like this. Don't even get me started on the floors, it's all uneven and there are cracks in the celling already. Love the home layout and design. Construction took forever while the builder was inconsistent and unresponsive at times. Even after moving in...he was given a list of issues needing resolve and he never followed through. The sales office was excellent. Quality of build and issues seen since moving in have been very disappointing.

My sales rep, Jason, was wonderful to work with during the process. During the build though sometimes my house would sit for a couple of months with no work done. Then Andy and Logan took over as field managers and things started to happen quickly finally. All three of these people were great to deal with and on top of things. Once I got into my new house though a few issues came up and it takes weeks for any responses or any one to come out to do repairs. The home buying experience with Pulte is well organized for Pulte, but from the buyer's perspective there is plenty of room for improvement. Soon after signing the contract we asked for some information specific to our housing design and Pulte was non-responsive. However, weeks later Pulte needed to alter the contract as they could not deliver the kitchen appliances they agreed to and we refused to sign the addendum until they provided the information we requested. Selling our loan one month after we closed was not appreciated. There are issues that are being addressed. The HOA documents that were approved are to strict in some areas. I would have given a 5 star rating but it took way to long to build the home and now we're dealing with some issues that shouldn't be.

Ryan our construction manager made such a stink when we asked him to come back and look at the poor craftsmanship. When we moved in there were big items he did not address. We couldn’t move in properly because so many things needed to be fixed or touched up. He shook our hands and promised it would be done before move in day. Nope. The material used to build the house seems of not very high quality. I didn’t like the drywall thickness, power outlets and sturdiness. I can easily hear upstair and vibration from washer and dryer. Room door is cheap quality. I like the carpet used only.

The quality of the home is disappointing. Would have expected a much better final product for the price we paid. Several issues were supposed to be addressed during the building process, but left not taken care of. Items that were marked by the Pulte quality control Team were ignored. Now we are going to have to take up several issues with the warranty department.

We had a rocky path with Pulte. They use good products and build a good home, but we have never seen such poor customer service especially with the amount of money we spent for our home. The cabinets have still not been finished and have many issues that have not been fixed after being in the house for two months. We have asked for a handful of punch list items to be completed and maybe half have been done. Now I can’t even get a hold of our construction manager. Communication from start until after purchase is very poor. No one in the company returns phone calls, text messages or emails. From the on site sales agent who we first spoke with. pulte finance could not provide a break down of closing costs or current mortgage rates. Pulte could or would not provide advance estimated time line on a closing date in order to lock in a mortgage interest rate. If they run into a shortfall they rush that part of the build...grout over dirt, chipped trim, paint on hardware, etc. These are things that appear in my bath where the doors were late in delivery so it was the last room finished and things were hurried. Other areas showed lack of craftsmanship. Front door remains with a gap at the bottom letting in cold and hopefully nothing else.

Everything starts out well and goes smooth until about 6+ months in. Completion seemed to drag out well past what we thought but then finally wrapped up very quickly at the end but with items still left to be completed after closing. You obviously agree because you’ve been waiting so long and are just ready to close. Once you close it’s like pulling teeth to get those leftover items completed. I’m still waiting on things to be completed and I’ve been in the house for 3 months.

I entered a contingency purchase agreement and within 24 hours the house I chose was shown & offered to another buyer. Luckily my realtor was able to sell my house so I could remove the contingency. The quality of the carpet & flooring is low. There are numerous flaws in the drywall finish and paint (gouges, and rough areas) I requested repairs on 2 particular areas and both were not smoothed or filled. They were merely painted over. Pulte Group sells under multiple names - at least five other than Pulte Homes. We bought a spec home that was already under construction. Consequently, we were able to modify some attributes of the home, but not others as they basically assemble a "package" for the construction of each home. The salesman was very helpful in securing some of the modifications we desired, but he was unable to achieve others such as upgraded kitchen appliances and changing tub/showers to showers. My review comment is little less because of the below reasons. I am open to have a discussion if my comments are not valid 1. This house planned closing date was mid of Aug 2022 but closed on 28th Oct 2022. 2. The initial process of building with Pulte was exceptional. We followed their process and things were on track. Once we were about half way through the process things started to fall apart. Lack of communication, delays, missed deadlines, etc. We closed on October 7th 2022, as of today December 7th 2022 we have tape all over the house marking repairs/items to complete the punch list as well as our 30 day warranty issues. Still Waiting!!!!!!!
