The quality of the build was okay. Since we moved in, we have seen some area where the quality was not great. Issue have been handled promptly for the most part. The buying process was great.

This detailed finishing work isn’t what I was expecting. We were left with many spaces, shadow lines, seams and some major flaws in our sheet rock mud. A little disappointing.

Pulte built a beautiful condominium with high end appliances, fixtures, amenities and color palette. The staff at Atrium at MetroWest is exceptional. Special kudos to Lien N. in the sales office, Jeff B., Customer Care Manager and Andrew N., Manager.

Pulte in Indiana builds some nice homes and we had a good experience with sales and Mortgage folks. Due to the skyrocketing home prices and Pulte trying to sell as much as humanly possible to get money, their workmanship went down quite a bit. Along with high turnover rates in their own employees on the construction side, it’s becoming a bit of a nightmare. If your planning to buy a pulte home, I would still recommend but understand you need a high level of due diligence and its best to get all their work double checked by outside parties.

Made the home buying experience easy!

Overall the buying experience was not great. Right from the time of choosing the lot till the celebration walk there were lot of issues. The buyer is always treated with rude answers. First of all not enough time is given to decide on anything, no clear explanation is given about the land, floor plan and customization, being a first time buyer we struggled a lot by the way we were treated. Almost it felt like pulte has this attitude towards customers " take it or leave it " as there are lot of people waiting to buy. Design center appointment was a disaster, everything has to be decided right at that moment without even having a minute to think about it, no new home buyer will be able to decide things by looking at small pieces of sample available in such a short time. I was always open for suggestions and friendly approach but it was not what I experienced. Any customization you ask for is denied even though you are willing to pay for it. It never felt like the builder is building a house for me according to my convenience rather than customer has to adjust and accept with whatever builder provides. Great job checking over for problems

It would have been great to have a list of recommended vendors to address common things that a new homeowner is likely to need. For example, window treatments, handyman to put up pictures, fans, lights etc.

Frustrated with quality, particularly caulking and sloppiness.

Warranty folks doing a great job

There are the typical new home issues, but they should all get fixed within the first year. After closing, they are very slow responding to issues.

This home building experience was different than my previous two. It seemed that Pulte was more concerned with meeting deadlines than making sure the homeowner was happy. We have submitted several repair request that could have been avoided if the closing date wasn't the number one priority. Overall we are happy to be in our home but extremely dissatisfied with the process.

I am impressed with the team's committment to my happiness and needs as the home buyer. They have been very gracious to answer all of my questions and calls/texts and even came by after the closing to fix a few details that I missed in the final walk through.

The Good Throughout the entire process, Linda was kind, helpful, responsive, and did everything she could to answer questions and guide us through the process. We had a great experience with her. The home is filled with thoughtful features, a finished crawl space with lights and power, a whole house fan that can cool the entire house down in an hour, plenty of lighting, timer lights on an the outside doors, and great insulation that makes the home stay cool through the heat. The network closet has conduit to pull cable from the street, and is prewired. The electrical is well done and done with care. There are little touches that make it clear the electrician cared about their work. Our builder rep at closing, Daniel, was kind and amazing. He helped us list all our concerns and chased down issues for us. He went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Unfortunately, Daniel left Pulte before all of our issues could be resolved. During the design center we were rushed and our consultant was either unknowledgeable or something else. We were told that if we added anymore network to additional rooms they were required to add an additional 8 port switch beyond the included one, which they wanted 800$ more for. We opted to pull our own cable instead to the last two rooms. On close we discovered there is no switch included at all, the cat5e is just bundled with a tech loop in the cabinet. During our final walkthrough we found many issues with paint over spray, finishing damage, and issues with finish work (cracked base boards, etc ). Some of these issues were resolved before move in. Others we were told to make a list and file with customer support. Our refrigerator was not ready on close and we were told it would be here on May 10, we are now being told June 24, but only because I've been trying to chase down a rep to keep me up to date. Right now we have a cheap fridge that freezes or veggies and can't keep our frozen food cold but produces plenty of frost. We are very thankful we bought our washer and dryer ourselves. Our stove was damaged on delivery so they needed to replace it, no big deal. The replacement showed up on May 10th with no warning while we were both working and in meetings. Our landscaping on the left side was dead on close, but we were assured it would come in within a couple of weeks. Our plants are still dead and we have not heard a response on the issue yet. I dropped a can on the tile from around 2 feet and our tile chipped. The grout comes unsealed, so we spent 4 hours our first night sealing the grout Both Mike's in charge of the build site are very kind when you meet them and seem to genuinely care when you talk in person, but they do not respond to email after the fact. I love my home. Everyone was very nice and help when they could. One thing needs to improve is on the people they hire to do the work, painters, fence, landscaping, electrician, appliances the quality of the work is not as good the details on the paint, molding, etc is not the best. Appliances where very cheap even though we got the upgrade package. They need to do better on attention to detail or hire people that have pride on their work. Landscaping was half fast done. We paid a lot of money for our home and details are important when it comes to the finishes of the home.

It was a great experience buying a new Pulte home, from the initial meeting with Mark in the office and throughout the building of the home under Justin's supervision. I would and continue to recommend Pulte Homes.

If you have Thomas as your field manager you will have a wonderful experience. He is extremely responsive; and sometimes you don't even have to ask as he already knows what needs to be repaired. I would rate him a 12 out of 10 - couldn't be more pleased!

Terrible building experience. Started filing warranty claims the day of closing. Not happy with the quality of the home at all. The workmanship is horrific and the "Pulte Promise" is nonexistent.

We went through their financing and added insurance and security making it easier for us. They were very easy to deal with and the complete process went smoothly and it will be easier for us each month.

The experience with Pulte overall has been very good if not excellent. We love our new home and the workmanship was high quality. Overall, they have been very responsive. If there is any negative it is that they contract workers who make mistakes which then require they be rectified - which has occurred.

The selling agent ignored my messages and entered my email address in wrong so I wasn't getting any updates on my build, it was very stressful. Now after I officially purchased the house, the "customer care" person assigned to me is rude and they're ignoring my requests to be assigned the someone else. After they get their hands on your money, they just stop caring.

We had a great overall experience especially with the sales rep Cindy who was very knowledge and helpful throughout the process.

The buying and building process was great. We have purchased from 3 other big builders and Pulte has been by far the best.
