The experience was "ok" overall. I wouldn't say it was terrible but I definitely wouldn't say it was great. The builder rep on the ground for the Pulte was fantastic but the remaining team members leave much to be desired. Trust and responsiveness were sadly lacking. As a customer I do NOT want to be ignored and the team would often not return emails and my guess was they would just wait me out. Well, we held them accountable to provide answers and solutions to issues. Pulte makes a great sales pitch but they fall short on execution. I'm happy with my home but it will not be my forever home ...

The place looks unfinished and is falling apart.

Siding and window boards falling off outside, cracks and tape coming off walls, left over gobs of plaster on stair lights, cracks on stair moldings, appliences all off balance, broken or bent, window moldings out of place, cheap caulking shrinking and cracking, shelf pins missing on cabinet shelves, no sink sprayer or stopper/strainer, gaps in kitchen floor, dirt and rocks all over parking lot, missing weather seal on entrance door, gutter water guides flying all over the place, landscaping full of weeds and unmaintained and I'm sure there is more I can't think of right now.

I would not recommend Pulte to others who are interesting in using this builder. After being in the house for a month, I have noticed numerous items that were completely poorly. The lack of response from the PM is disheartening. I have friend who is ready to sign in a different Pulte community that I will be discouraging from doing so.

We didn't build. We purchased an inventory home being used as a model home for 1 year and closed in less than 4 weeks (around Christmas). During the celebration meeting, I pointed out issues such as dirty/stained grout, repainting needs, whole/gap in cabinet, broken sliding door handle, sloppy work in the master bath and other areas, as well as overall wear and tear issues given that the home was used as a model. The buying process was easy, the finance piece was easy and the people were great. However, once I moved in, I found multiple things broken or just poor (cheap) quality. I was so disappointed to move into a brand new home and find so many things that needed (and still need) to be fixed (inside and out). I've built with 4 other builders and lived in several other homes and this is the worst built home I've ever lived in (floor plan is great but everything feels so cheap). I could go on and on but I'll simply finish by saying I'm so very disappointed!!!

After paying so much, this is not what we expect to get, quality of everything lkke dry wall, boards, shelves, bathroom not up to the mark. After a month only I am seeing all the ptch work coming out, drywall getting scuffed just with the touch of anything. Nails are coming out from the doors and shelves.Got defective gas init, at the time of closing, field manager said he gonna replace it but after that we are just doing follow ups. Not happy at all

Where do I begin? Pulte and specifically, its staff is stretched thin on local construction coordinators/managers. That, along with just very little oversight caused lack of quality control during our build process. I was basically their QC person each time I visited my home during the construction process. The homes in this neighborhood range from $600K+, but the quality of workmanship and materials is that of a house less than half that price. Our salesman Eric was great. They can never give us an accurate estimate of when the home would be completed talk to three different people I got three different estimates of completion then after longer than expected they call us and tell us it would be completed in 30 days, not giving us much time to prepare to move. After moving in our dishwasher did not work it took them almost a month to get out here to fix it and they are very slow to respond to any other issue we have been here almost 2 months and still have many unresolved issues. Design center options over priced and limited options. You can get the upgrades from other parties for a third or more less with more options. Getting issues resolved takes one to two weeks, sometimes requiring me to follow up for eta.

Things were good until the end. Since I closed I have had a terrible time trying to get issues resolved. The little attention to detail is missing. There are lots of little mistakes. For example, paint spills and splatters, lumps of plaster, scratches. Several of the items marked during the final walk through were never fixed. They planted trees then turned off the irrigation so now all 5 are half dead. They won't replace because there are still a few green branches. I can't get anyone to respond to my emails. We had a lot of issues after the fact of getting things done that were promised. The drywall and paint in areas is horrible. They are finally coming to fix it 2.5 months after we have moved in even though we addressed them at the final walk throughs.

Major repair that needed done (I caught it) after closing. Extremely frustrating and stressful to deal with after moving in. Was not fixed correctly the first time and I've been dealing with it ever since. Multiple promises to fix several items right after closing have not been done months later. Warranty submissions go unresponded to for months (in talking with some neighbors, it's taken more than a year for some fixes). I’ve noticed a lot of things either already pealing (lining/paint), not fully sealed, or just done sloppy... it’s actually embarrassing to be honest because we haven’t been here long and no matter how well I take care of it and clean, cosmetically, it doesn’t look brand new... on top of that, we’ve had issues with drains not draining appropriately and I can’t help but think there are things inside of them since we had to repeatedly ask to have workers quit leaving food and trash all over the place during building... We have been moved in since March 23rd and have had issue after issue that has gone unresolved. Pulte hasn’t sent us any help besides a few emails. In my opinion we shouldn’t even be paying the mortgage if none of our warranty or services are not being upheld.

We moved in at the end of March...several items need fixed and we can hear in our kitchen everytime someone flushes the toilet upstairs..No insulation.. in walls...Kitchen cabinets doors are uneven...and I have big hole in my back yard and they keep putting dirt down for people who house was built after mine..Feel like since closing I don't matter.

They tell you things have been ordered, but they haven’t. They insist that work was done because they believe the contractors over the homeowners—the ones who see the problems every day and know nothing has been done.

We chose the best in line kitchen to get better look. The sample showed to us was very different than the actual material installed. They seem ugly to us and we are very unhappy. We raised the concern to sales office and they said team will not be able to help us. Sales office should have the true representation of sample that is planned to be installed. Kitchen is most important to us and we really need Pulte's help to resolve issue

30 day checklist & Landscaping

I submitted my 30 day checklist on Nov 15th and have not heard back from anyone (Dec 5) on when the issues I reported will be resolved. I contacted CAC@pulte.com on Nov 29th and they said someone would contact me? Haven't heard from anyone. (Dec 5) There has also been a lot of problem with landscaping collapsing on this block over the past 2 weeks and it has to do with Packing that wasn't properly done when pipes were laid to the sides of houses. There is confusion on who is responsible (Arizona pipe or Desert Valley) and what the reporting process is, there isn't one? you contact Pulte ...
