No follow up and failed warranty

Sales was good as well as mortgage process. All add on items were over priced for the value furnished. The French doors in the den were installed off center and had to be reconstructed after move in. Many items were missed or damaged. The warranty department is all about excuses for not doing the work. Instead of fixing the items now they keep saying wait for the one year mark because they only fix items once. Pulte used to be a great builder in the 90s but are only interested in getting more money for junk. Not satisfied at all.

We don’t have access to our own mail and there is no one to reach out to so lack of communication, we spotted multiple imperfections in the home, particularly the tile in our shower is not level.

I love my home I think it’s very beautiful. Minor and some major concerns after only a few months living here. Construction was fast; however with speed they lacked attention to DETAIL. Half my electrical outlets throughout the house don’t work. Finding trash in the walls and outlets. Prepare to not have grass on closing date!

While designing our new home, everything has to be in the STANDARD choices, regardless of custom’s needs (health and safety issues)! After closing, all issues that I reach out to the customer service were pushed away to 3rd parties, none was resolved by the customer care department! We have spent more time and money to fix issues that they won’t help! I’m so disappointed!

Everyone was great prior to closing. During my pre-closing walk through I identified several things that needed to be addressed, and the project manager promised that they would be done the day of or after closing. They were not, and many still have not been addressed 2 1/2 months later. Was easy process, however we are having trouble getting the contractor come back out to fix issues that we saw on our walk down. House was not clean and found sun flower seeds in the carpet. Workmanship is not the best. Easy communication when we were buying the house.

I don’t even know where to begin, I probably wouldn’t go with another pulte home if I had to. Scraps left behind in my new house when I moved in, work wasn’t completed correctly. Basically no effort in making sure it was fixed correctly. Dustin yelling at my partner for having concerns over the quality of the work done on the house. Honestly it was the quality of the craftsmanship of the house that soured the whole process for me.

Pulte has a big problem in the Double Branch Community with the contractor living in unfinished homes, not to mention the using of the bathrooms in homes that are pending purchase. As, a buyer I stressed that the homes remained locked unless work was being done in them.

We chose to build with Pulte because of the quality they promised. We loved working with our sales rep but our construction manager not only didn’t know what was going on, but flat out lied to us a number of times. We are two months in and still having to deal with warranty because of lazy craftsmanship. I'm very disappointed in the quality of workmanship in my NEW home. I feel that the house was thrown together and that nobody from Pulte was overseeing the build. The downstairs flooring has been an issue since before closing (8 weeks ago) and is still an issue today. I was told by Chad that once I put a rug and furniture in the room I would never notice it. Our brand new Pulte home experience

We recently purchased a brand new Pulte home, moved in less than 2 months back and our experience in last 1 month has not been good at all. We had a leakage in one of the pipes in mechanical room which took almost a week to get fixed, noticed cracks on the wooden floor in few sections, bathroom lock’s doesn’t work most of the times and the walls get scratched very easily. Overall the quality of materials used in building the home are really bad and we wish we knew this before buying our dream home!

There needs to be better communication and better quality of trades. The quality was to the minimum of code rather than quality expected with the new higher prices Pulte charges. Our yard was not graded and has so many flooding issues as well as our septic was never turned on until after a month we moved in, it could have been a disaster. 1/5 of our backyard is un-usable due to mud and no grading being done. We can’t let our dogs out in our backyard because of it and it’s unacceptable being 3 months in without anyone fixing it properly.

There is lot of air leak from all the windows and when we approached the team they informed us that it is how they have manufactured Did we ask for that kind of windows which wont stop the cold air coming inside Staying in Illinois no one needs a house like this We paid the amount for this house no one gifted this to us No proper insulation entire house cannot maintain same temperature Lennar was the best when it comes to quality

New home buying in Florida

Bought a new home in Florida for just under a half million dollars. The interior of the home displays the worst level of “finish” work I have seen. Low quality materials, rough finish work on most baseboards and door and window frames. Entire kitchen and three full baths contained zero handles or pulls on any cabinets and drawers. House was still very dirty from construction debris when we took possession. A full month has passed and we are still finding things that need replacement or fixing. Not a good reflection on this builder.

We were not able to catch issues at each step during the build. As you can imagine dealing with problems after you close, takes months to address all the issues. It has taken 2 months to address the14 work orders- that detail badly installed, missing or completely incorrect items put in place. House lacks attention to details. Many things in the house have poor craftsman ship. Seems like Pulte developers were more interested in making sure they finished the houses before schedule to get a return on their investment. Nick was the only positive experience we had during our home purchase. He was very attentive and quick to respond to our new buyer questions. All other departments were very disappointing, especially the finance department. They were not efficient! We were given a lot of generic responses! We didn't feel like Pulte cared about our needs and concerns about purchasing our home. This experience felt like we were on a conveyer belt!
