We bought a new home with Pulte and the minute you sign, you can't get anything fixed that was promised and you have to follow-up mulitple times for any warranty issues. Would never build again with them.

Our Sales Agent and the Warranty Person we deal with have truly been the saving grace for this transaction. I am disappointed with the quality of work the construction manager approved and then passed off. We have walls that are completely bowed, corners that are at 75° vs 90. Door ways that don’t line up, we had a major leak from the electrical people drilling a hole in the pipes, and after our inspection pointed it out, they said it was resolved, only to find it was never looked into. Only the experience with our sales rep Dale was positive and become more disappointed and disillusioned with our CM Wesley towards the end of the process and waiting for punch list items to be corrected.

I was very disappointed in the sloppiness during the construction process with paint and drywall materials found on many finishes and resulted in the need for steam cleaning. There seemed to be a rush to complete the home which was behind scheduled and definitely a trade off between quality and speed. The CM seems over stretched and able to focus as there were too many houses to manage. Overall it was a very average experience and so far a very below average experience with after closing service for issues requested in Pulte Owner's Entry portal.

I wasn’t allowed to make my own selections for floors, tiles, cabinets etc. Kind of took the fun out of buying new. The windows are poor quality and some don’t latch/lock. They did not paint the interior of my garage and it looks really ugly when the garage is open. They need to start installing frameless showers and crown molding for homes over 700k price point.

We were excited to enter into contract with Pulte on our new home back in July 2021. The interaction with the sales team through the majority if the process was excellent. Tara was pleasant to work with in terms selecting our floorplan and upgrades. She communicated extremely well with us and we were grateful for her services. The one year process was very long due but I understood due to inflation. However we got our keys and the foremen guys Tracey and the trainer were pushing us to sign that they took care of things that weren't complete. Tracey brought me the wrong keys to my home, I did not feel comfortable I was scared ppl still had access to my home. The sales team did their part and got me everything I wanted in the new home, but that’s where the positive experience ended. After closing expect little support, your loan to be sold, and for them to pull your credit again. My loan was transferred to M&T within two month and when Pulte no longer serviced my loan they pulled my credit again. When I asked them about it, they said it was for an audit and I gave them the authorization during closing. This was a lie. Extremely disappointed in the quality of product and workmanship in my home. For the price I paid, the lack of care and concern by Pulte's subcontractors is very disturbing. I was told there are 2 walk-throughs completed by Pulte prior to my final walk-through. There was absolutely NO way this was done in my home. We were sold a walkout basement option on our home at the Cottages. We cannot walkout on our lot as it slopes on a 45 degree angle. A flat patio is not workable without a retaining wall. This $20k option was sold to us with no one reviewing the plot plan or explaining the lot grade issue. Why would a builder sell a walkout basement that you cannot walk out on to? Pulte Homes does not do what they say they will. Sales Staff (Mark) is dishonest and not transparent about lot release dates, pricing or timelines. The Construction Staff (Robbie) deflects and places the blame on the sub-contractors. Which is silly considering Pulte Homes is ultimately responsible and pays the sub-contractors. They have not been responsive to the 12 month warranty items. Customer Care Team (Mariah) does not respond to service requests. If you have any other option choose them. You will not get what you pay for from Pulte Homes and their customer service is atrocious.

Stay on top of your superintendent. They throw these houses up quickly and do NOT pay attention to quality. I had multiple walls that were not square and are still being fixed two months after we moved in. Once you sign and move in you are not a priority.

If all sales people at Pulte are anything like the one we had to deal with, we would have never signed the contract. Our sales person is only interested in getting that initial contract and then disappears blaming everyone else at Pulte for any delays/inconveniences that arise (even the ones he created).

Expected much more from Pulte, especially after our second home that was built by them. Quality of materials and build was really disappointing and even more so was the rush to try and complete major issues before closing. Were also promised that major items still pending would be finished within days after closing. Should have trusted my instinct because it is going on 2 months and still no resolutions and we have to be the one constantly pursuing the so called warranty manager to get answers and only to receive attitude and no control over any subs.

Our first newly built home where we hoped to be able to relax and retire has been a nightmare. We closed and moved in a little over a month ago and have had repairs done nearly every week for missing grout and caulk in the bathrooms, broken cabinet doors and door locks that don't work. Repairs can take hours for something that should take half the time. We are still waiting for a fix to be able to use a shower since there is an actual hole in tile. Quality control is an issues as there was very little oversight of the contractors that did the work. We had to point out major issues that needed addressed that Pulte blatantly missed. On the positive side house designs where nice and the design team was helpful.

First the walls are so thin that you can hear any conversation from one room to the other with the doors closed. Second, the finishing touches are simply the worst. Third, a large amount of things have to be redone, it never ends. After living at the house for some time now things are still trying to be corrected.

I understand in this economic climate there's a lot of "hurry up and wait" with subcontractors. A week before close you look at the house and think certainly it won't be ready. They then rush to close because they have to meet their month-end quotas. Two days before close we do a walkthrough ("Build Quality Celebration") and point out a lot of cosmetic, attention to detail issues. You then don't get another opportunity to inspect the house.
