The experience of purchasing the home direct with Pulte was pleasant. We found the house to have our ideal layout. They included extra favors without cost to us and were much appreciated. The energy efficiency features are noticeable, even when compared to our previous home which was also a new build with similar claims. Our sales person was poorly trained. For instance, we asked the upgrade cost of a sprinkler system and he said it was not an option. It was, but we didn't find out until after we closed. We chose a floorplan with an extended kitchen. He said it was included in the base price, but when we got to the design appointment, it was a $5800 upgrade. Have been disappointed in the number of issues that have cropped up with appliances and AC. Have been VERY DISAPPOINTED with the responsiveness of Pulte. One issue raised with a dishwasher in one of our units - raised on Sunday. No response from emergency team. Called and mailed multiple times. Then on Wednesday a ticket was raised. Still no resolution. Many other examples This is not helping Pute’s reputation

Pulte title company was horrific at communications. Omar Wes and Maria kept me sane through this process and they were the only reason I continued to move forward with pulte. A lot of the issues I had were with the trades and the poor workman ship. I’m now in my home and see so many flaws. Whenever i reach out to Pulte warranty, they have an excuse for everything, which is unacceptable in a house that cost so much. Never buy a new build Pulte home as a development is closing out

We purchased one of the last condos in Crown East - Gaithersburg. The communication within Pulte departments was terrible. Many times, we were left to fend for ourselves working with the various depts (Mortgage, Construction, Sales and now Warranty. We have built 3 other homes in our past and none were as non-responsive as Pulte. One last comment that explains their lack of coordination. This request for our opinion states that we purchased an MPDU home. That is incorrect, we actually purchased a full priced Condo. Hopefully their records don't show this.

We closed 2.5 months ago. Just informed we won’t get a yard until at least July. Kitchen ceilings cracking. Mortgage process a disaster. All in all wouldn’t recommend.

We settled mid April , still waiting on lamp light( all new homes have the light, )we were told the light would be installed three weeks ago. Still waiting on refrigerator and wine fridge. We are leaving the last week of June until October, and coordinating the install will be difficult, if not received by the end of June

For the price I paid, the attention to detail of the finishes, paint, cabinetry and trim work was completely sub par. I would expect a much better job pertaining to the finished details of the house. Honestly, I’m disappointed to the point where I don’t “love” my house as much as I would like to.

I was very excited about building this home because I knew it would be our forever home. I have had 4 other homes, 3 of which we had built. I have never felt so frustrated about this process. The carelessness in workmanship has been so disappointing. Thankfully, we have ended up with a nice home but some changes really need to be made with this builder.

I am convinced that the left hand is not talking to the right hand. It that were the case this survey never would have found it's way to my mailbox. The folks you have handling warranty repairs left lots to be desired but the biggest issue is/was a water leak in my home even before I made my 1st payment. The response was laughable as the leak went unmitigated for a minimum of 3 Days. I am considering legal action as I can only imagine what happens down the road as a result of this water leak. Going on two months in the home and still no cabinet hardware. Good luck with getting any resolution on issues not reported during the final walkthrough. My cabinets were installed poorly, and I’m struggling to get Pulte to fix the damages. Communication is poor, and I was accused of causing the damage myself. I’m so disappointed. Once I closed on my home many issues have been ignored. Front porch has large cracks, never heard about my driveway and grass installation. I had to pay to have my garage insulated and drywalled. After 2 months I have not received my trash receptacles. A little disappointed after purchasing a home for over $400,000

The sale of the home was great but once it came down to the quality and inspections, that’s where it fell apart. Most last minute touch ups were not completed as promised and MANY outlets are not functioning properly around the house. Thermostat’s haven’t been changed and the direct contact’s do not care about resolving the issues.

The sales and build process was outstanding. However the process to get construction issues corrected after close has been terrible. Our Customer Care Manager is more interested in making excuses or finding reasons why they should not address the problem than fixing what are overall minor problems.

Be prepared to follow up with your customer care representative and keep a pulse on your punch list of items that need to be fixed. I received mismatched appliances and poor flooring installation followed by excessive delays in getting things fixed. I still don't have fixes to specific items 5 months post closing.
