There are many issues due to poor workmanship and also have had a very poor response to have them rectified. Been in the home over a month snd the issues and findings just keep on coming. Very disappointed!

The quality of drywall, carpentry and attention to detail are not good. Also, after my walk through numerous items were supposed to be completed. A month and a half later I’m still waiting. Not enough management to oversee contractors. Electric was only service that was great. Disappointing once they have your money.

The whole building process started good, but it took Pulte 8 extra months to complete the project resulting me extra 16k out of pocket (interest rate, month to month lease). Our builder Josh, and Stephanie was unresponsive most of the time. They simply did not care. Also, who pays for 450k but get a thermostat that is not even wifi capable?

I closed on my Edgewater property on May 9. I am still waiting for the painters to paint the concrete wall that patch a hole in the garge and a baseboard in the kitchen and a slider to keep the guest bedroom closet door in place. I waited from 1-4 last Friday and one person came out and glued the house back on my house for the second time. The grab bars I was promised were never installed in my shower either. Our sales rep Danny was great. Our framing and drywall inspections were fine. There was zero quality control after drywall was installed. Closing day was hectic with multiple major repairs being made. The “celebration” was a joke. It was spent identifying large and small issues around the house. Many have been resolved, but most are still pending. Damaged entry doors, broken flooring, scratched tubs and more touch up. We love the layout of the home and our lot.

Pulte title company was horrific at communications. Omar Wes and Maria kept me sane through this process and they were the only reason I continued to move forward with pulte. A lot of the issues I had were with the trades and the poor workman ship. I’m now in my home and see so many flaws. Whenever i reach out to Pulte warranty, they have an excuse for everything, which is unacceptable in a house that cost so much. Throughout our construction process we had many questions around Pultes set and missed timelines. During that process we were made to feel like we were in the wrong with unacceptable responses, if we even got one at all. Would not go through this process with Pulte again.

The sales and build process was outstanding. However the process to get construction issues corrected after close has been terrible. Our Customer Care Manager is more interested in making excuses or finding reasons why they should not address the problem than fixing what are overall minor problems.

We decided to buy our first home with Pulte because we had heard really good things. But the experience has not been good. First there were hardly any flexibility on choosing different options. There was only 1 model home but pulte was offering 5 different designs. They did not had good digital experience to help make decisions. Our sales rep at the beginning of the process of buying our home was fantastic. He was proactive in his communication, regularly checking in to provide updates about the progress of our home purchase and build. Our construction manager was responsive in a timely manner to our requests for updates. Closed on my home in March. Multiple issues with workmanship and missing items. Everyone says they are going to rectify the problem, but all I get is multiple lies and put off. My advice is not to close on the home until everything is satisfactory. They say they will come back to fix the problem but never do.

When you bring up issues right after closing such as cracked tile, door has hole in it, which takes over 2 weeks to be painted so far and not installed, a month out at this point to get stucco hole fixed, if they show up! Just horrible on issues and they just do not care after you are handed the keys. No communication with you, if there is no one is on the same page.

Although PGP Title is separate from Pulte Homes, the experience with them started the home buying experience on a bad note. The individuals we dealt with were incredibly unprofessional and borderline rude. The folks we dealt with at Pulte Homes were nice for the most part but also unresponsive at times. The quality overall has been a bit of a disappointment. There were numerous things left undone at close that we are still trying to get taken care of through their warranty team. We are two months in, and still have no working master bathroom. The plumbing is leaking through the downstairs ceiling and Pulte advised us to not use the bathroom until they can come out later in the month. I think that says all. The slightly longer version is that we bought the home in a great area, which represents about 50% of the value of my house. It's just sad to see how cheaply Pulte has finished everything. There are dozens of fit, finish and trim issues. We have been so patient and understanding with our reps, its not their fault, and I am sure they are overwhelmed. The finish work was rushed and not good at all. There were so many corners cut that the house looks terrible. We marked all of the issues in the walk through, but roughly only 25% of the issues marked got fixed. The cleaning was also the worst cleaning I have seen. This is the 3rd new home we built, and this was by far the worst experience out of the 3. It has been poor communication from the very start. We moved into the house 3 months ago and we are still waiting for items to be completed. We were forced to close and move in before the house was completed. Workers are STILL not showing up for the scheduled appointments for them to complete the unfinished work. The sales team is great and the financing team is great!! The builders/contractors lack in quality work and getting back to you on issues. If I had known this, I would not ever considered Pulte as my builder. I will never refer anyone to Pulte as the worksmanship is absolutely horrible.
