Generally high quality construction. Always a few challenges with any large project, but they are very responsive to the issues.

We really like the design of the house. There is a lot of storage space. You do, however, pay extra for every little things. The things that come standard are so basic that everyone - from the sales person to the consultant at the design meeting highly encourages you to upgrade, which then, of course, drives up the cost for the house. Most frustrating has been our closing experience. We had a pre-closing walk-through date set. At 5 PM the night before, we got a call that the walk-through and our move-in date (scheduled for that weekend) had to be moved back. I understand issues around supply, but those should have been known earlier on. We already had everything set up to make the move happen - and trying to manage a move during COVID with a 1-year old baby is challenging enough without the company changing dates on you last minute! Many of the issues from our pre-closing walk-through had not been addressed. We have since added additional items to the list that we noticed (e.g., we paid extra for a mirror in our master bathroom since don't come standard - the mirror they installed was chipped. We didn't notice it during the walk-through as a lot of furniture had paint splatters on it - so I assumed it was the same with the mirror. But when I looked at it, it was chipped). Now, two months later, nothing has been taken care of. Last Friday, we were told that contractors would stop by to address all items on the list. The e-mail confirmation, however, only listed two of about 10 items. We called and were told all items would be addressed. I then rearranged my work schedule to make sure I was available during the time the contractors would come by. And nobody came. We called to let them know and now, almost a week later, nothing has been done yet. I have responded to several surveys sharing the challenges we've had with getting our closing items completed - we then get a phone call from someone higher up in the company promising that things will be taken care of. That sometimes results in an e-mail or phone call promising that work will get done - but then there is no follow-through. I would not buy from Pulte ever again. ... More

As a first time home buyer, I received a great experience with Pulte. The environment, people and minimized stress in my experience has made our home worthwhile.

My Microwave vent was not set right(I have outer vent). Sent somebody later to fix it but was not a good technician. Not that good painting.

Please be very careful when deciding a Pulte home. Your first experience at the model, just like with any other builder, will be a great one and you will see the potential for your home. First piece of advice, I would ensure you have a good sales consultant that knows what they are doing and is knowledgeable. Ours was the opposite of that and essentially ruined the home buying experience for us. She tried to charge us for things that were not needed, neglected to advise us that basic items, such as a master bathroom mirror and a garage door opener were not included in the purchase. Those two items we learned about the days leading up to closing. Floors are uneven in the home, the home was unfinished and dirty, and then responses to get workers to the house have been, at best, slow to respond. It has been nearly two months since closing and we are still waiting for "punch list" items to be completed regarding the interior of the home. Pulte and their sales consultants seem to be more concerned about profitability vs customer satisfaction which is unfortunate considering how much people are spending on these homes. Overall we had good experience. What we did not enjoy was the options we got to select in design center. Pulte definitely add more options as it gives way less to choose as compared to any other builder of this scale.

Great overall experience. We do wish that the house had been inspected closely by the builder for minor cosmetic items, such as globs of construction materials on the tile and tile grout, as one example. The house cleaning prior to moving in was good, but could have been better. As one example, the top shelves in the closets were very dusty.

During y buying experience I dealt with various Pulte representatives and they were all extremely helpful and made my buying process a smooth process.

Overall, the experience has been good and the response from the Field Manager has been really great. However, some of the concerns that were reported earlier still need to be resolved like parquet finishing and repair, water leakage noise in living space, water leakage from dishwasher, cracks and peeling of plaster in some areas need to be addressed. On the external environment, the noise of running train, noise and dust from on going construction could be better managed.

PulteGroup, Inc. offered significant value for money in comparison to the other communities that my wife and I toured. We never found another community in our area that provided the same offerings within a comparable price range; it was always significantly higher. We really valued PulteGroup, Inc.’s bright and spacious floor plans that provided 3-car garages and 10’ ceilings as standard features in our selected community as well as a wide range of structural and design options. Even before COVID-19 placed a new demand on home designs to support work from home or virtual learning, PulteGroup, Inc.’s plans had already accommodated these functions. We had previously built with PulteGroup, Inc. in the past and were very happy with our home. When we needed to relocate to another part of the city, our immediate reaction was to look for another PulteGroup, Inc. community. We were very pleased that within a 4 -year period we could tell that PulteGroup, Inc. had continued to innovate and develop their product and processes, and we built a home that was more energy efficient, boasted a wider range of design options and incorporated more advanced technology. During our build process we observed that the lots in our community continued to sell very quickly. In contrast, other communities that we had initially considered had a much slower rate of lot sales and were struggling to sell their spec homes. Excellent Customer service was the key since the beginning of all the Sales/Purchase process, therefore it was fluid almost zero stress. Great capacity to identify your needs and Pulte personnel does wahtever is need to comply with it. Excellenet relationship House Value -Vs- Quality. They frequently showed the progress of their commitmment sending communications & pictures regarding status and the better part they complied with the critical Date during rush time which was December.

Great sales and superintendent staff, but the lack of quality material is very apparent after living in the home for only 3 months. Almost as shocking is the lack of communication in regards to fixing the issues. Unacceptable for this price point, and a new home. We closed in November, and so far issues include.. AC unit, refrigerator, subfloor/flooring, concrete issue on the screened in porch, and numerous areas where its obviously lazy sub contractor work. We were quite liberal with our option selections, so very frustrating that these "upgraded" items are still sub par.

We like the location and the space of homes on lots. We were disappointed with lack of flexibility to change material. For example, we wanted the room off the kitchen (that was suggested for an office) to be a butler’s pantry. Pulte would not do this. We asked to leave the room so that we could make it what we want. Their response was no. Therefore, we have paid more money to have cabinets made and we are going to dispose of the cabinet and countertops that was installed. What a sinful waste of money and resources. There was only one option for the roof and limited (very similar to every other house in the neighborhood) color palette choices. All the Pulte people I worked with were very helpful throughout the process. The homes are some of the best designed and well thought out of all the builders you can choose from in the Phoenix area.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of buying my first home through Pulte Mortgage. They made everything easy and simple from the start. I was gently guided through the entire process, from the day I viewed a model to the day I closed. I cannot express how thankful I am for the patience and diligence of the team. Also, before I forget, MY HOME IS AMAZING!! I’ve been here 45 days now and I couldn’t be happier. No regrets!! I always want to buy from Pulte.

Purchased unit with the plans shown for the development. Those plans are now changing half way through the development process on the additional buildings. Bathrooms did not come with storage. Medicien cabinet or drawers really should be standard.

great house great neighborhood. guality materials and plan. couple minor issues at closing but Pulte being very responsive to correct. this is my second pulte home..i love it.

I’ve purchased 5 new homes. Pulte has been the worst in initial quality.

Overall experience was great. Project Manager was attentive and professional. He worked very hard to meet and in some cases, exceed our expectations. House was completed on schedule with minor punch list items.

The construction manager was very responsive to any questions/concerns and very thorough in his final walkthrough.

From the very beginning, whenever we expressed a concern it was dismissed as just being part of the process and that it would be taken care of later, but that wasn't the case. So now we have a fireplace that is crooked, a recycle drawer that isn't soft close and paint-splattered stonework.

Dean was great to work with. We had an issue with kitchen tile and he was Johnny on the spot

All questions and problems was answered and taken care of quickly.

Love the floor plan. Builder was very responsive and fixed all issues that arose after I moved to the house.

Do not go with the Pulte lender!!! They will make you jump through hurdles for the same rate another lender will offer you for free. We got our keys but we’re still sending them documentation. Watch everything in the build process. Take notes & stay on top of the construction manager to get stuff done!!
