Sales team is great, Model home will always close the deal. Great floor plan's. Builders crew from framing to paint need much improving. Pulte is a production/quantity builder. Homes must go up quick and be sold quick. So, the crews used to do this is veery important. This is where the attention to detail comes into play. This is lacking big time. NoN matter the cost of the home, if its a new build things should be done with a eye for detail. Pulte expects the future owners to hold up their side with financing the home. The buyer expects the home to be near as perfect as possible. Pulte tends to rely on you have a warranty and then you have to deal with that. This is the situation my family is in. I could list everything that is an issue but it's a long list. We are close to three month inn the home and waiting one issues to bed addressed. We are hopeful that they will bee addressed and we will bee more happier with out purchase. This is my 3rd new build and buy far the roughest to date. ... More

Nothing special, just some basic build quality.

Overall the house is great but if there is an issue Pulte is incredibly difficult to deal with and get a timely response. Also, they knew about a leak in our house before we closed and did not correct it, so my trust in them is diminished.

We gave Pulte some slack because of pandemic many items was not up to standard. We were reassured by the warranty would take care of it after closing. . It's been 3 months and many of the issues is still unresolved. Our wooden floors is not flat. One of the gas range doesn't work. Missing panel door. closet incomplete. Bathroom Sink stopper doesn't work. We receive polite response but things just don't get fixed.

This is our second Pulte home purchase (the first in California) so we were excited since we knew what to expect with the build process and the overall builder quality. Needless to say, we where disappointed with the substandard delivery of the home. We realize that there have been many issues with supply chain in the last year and we accept delays and substitutions but when the overall quality is bad, there is not much to blame but the builder and subcontractors. We have doors that do not shut correctly(interior and exterior), breakers that trip when running built-in appliances, over 20 exterior stucco fractures in various sizes, and cabinets that have significant cracks in the wood frames. (Just to mention the most critical issues - there were many smaller ones) Not exactly what a person expects when they purchase a new home from a well-respected National builder. The issues were reported to Customer Service and here is the current status: The doors were corrected/replaced. The electrician could not find anything wrong with the circuits and the appliance repair person replace a fan. It works sporadically for a few weeks then we have to reset the breaker. The cabinets repair crew have yet to show up (2 months). A few stucco cracks were identified about 2 months ago and they were not large enough to repair. Over the weekend, we walked the entire exterior: the number has grown significantly (as has the width and length) and we sent a note to Customer Service. Response pending. Overall, we had the expectation of owning a new, well-built home but Pulte failed to deliver on that expectation. The Customer Service staff have been good to work with as have many of the subs. We chose Pulte Mortgage since they offered to match our bank and offered some incentives and are satisfied. ... More

If we only knew what we hear all night long in the walls before we purchased our retirement home, we would have bought somewhere else. It wakes us up in the middle of every night and when we sent an email to Pulte about our concern, we were told that it this type of issue that comes along with purchasing a first floor corner unit. Loud suction water flushing that shakes the walls, the loud sound of the water gushing behind our bedroom walls. It is so loud that at times you feel like the water is going to come right through the walls with the force of that suction sound, plus the water gushing. We were told that Pulte stood by their GREAT insulation and that very little noise is heard throughout each unit, I think they forgot to mention to us that it only meant if you did not purchase a corner unit. Very disappointed. Also, upon our first walk through, our master bath shower doors were broken. It was reported and 8 weeks later, we are still waiting to hear back from them on when it will be fixed. Trustworthy?? This is the 3rd new home we built, and this was by far the worst experience out of the 3. It has been poor communication from the very start. We moved into the house 3 months ago and we are still waiting for items to be completed. We were forced to close and move in before the house was completed. Workers are STILL not showing up for the scheduled appointments for them to complete the unfinished work. It has been infuriating for me having to take days off at my work (MULTIPLE DAYS), and wait for these workers to not even show up. We even asked if we could just complete things ourselves because I cannot continue to keep taking days off at my work. We were told no we cannot do the work because it would not be covered under their warranty. It is very upsetting to spend over $500,000, not be pleased with the work, and still living in an unfinished home. ... More

Nice neighborhood, parking and community parks.

You have to supervise construction to detect mistakes early.

Many things were clearly rushed and it shows. From paint and texture to incorrectly installed cabinetry to crooked pillars, and everything in between. Trying to get someone to fix the issues is nearly impossible and if someone does show up and it's more than a one day job then forget about them coming back to finish any time soon.

Process started off great but there was poor communication regarding delays in building process. Main issue is during final walk through several items had not been completed and they were noted on the closing documents. Builder states they would resolve but as of 30 days after issues still not completely resolved.

Build process took way longer than planned/ expected. House was not completed when we signed. Ensure you get inspections done pre drywall and after, as they tend to rush you through the inspection walks. Multiple things not painted, or just plain poor workmanship on multiple items but everything is contracted out and they leave it up to you to complain or pin point every quality issues instead of it just being done correctly the first time. We expected better quality and communication during our build.

Move in date was Friday, December 17th. Robert tried to change it to the following Tuesday due to needing a little more time to get things done. We told we couldn’t because we had things being delivered and already took time off from work. We told him we would not move in until 4pm that Friday. When we showed up the painters were still there and the house was really dirty. He told us the cleaners would be here in the next hour. We knew there would be some outstanding items. Not a problem. He told us the painters would be back Monday to finish. They never showed up. He would consistently over commit and never deliver. Told us the painters were coming two other times and never showed. No call or follow up from him. He told us multiple times he was going to send us the outstanding items and when they would be completed, never did. On January 26th I texted him that we would be taking the Pulte survey by 2/5 and he texted me back saying he would have no problem completing the items by then. So many times we texted him and called him and no response. We were very patient, but can no longer wait without anything being completed, since we are now going on almost two months of waiting. Before Purchasing Pulte home i had a great impression about builder but after seeing the construction i lost the impression that Pulte can also build worst way. Not sure what made to bring lower quality to my home. Ceiling fans when chose during design options was not placed and placed with very normal ceiling fan. Every homeowner dream about their home in great way so will chose the builder. Thats OK. I hope Pulte keeps quality for next homeowners.

The experience was a pretty bad one overall. The building time took way to long, but given the shortage of workers and materials, this can be overlooked. When neighbors have to call you to tell you some of the framing is warped, cut to short in places, and 2×4s have way to much bark, therefor, making for a weak structure, that's pretty bad! On our walk thru, it seemed as though we were walking thru a used house. It was full of dust, throughout, lose grout, and smudged window panes, along with cabinets that were so full of dust, you couldn't possibly put your dishes or food away, the closets were full of dust, the kitchen had a punched in cabinet and the roll outs on one of the cabinets were left out, from the great room you can see the a/c thru the window cause of poor placement, some of the tile was cut short, and instead of replacing it, they filled it in with grout, the carpet in the main bedroom is coming away from the tile, there were some problems with the outside finish of the house, the sliders were full of grout, stucco, or dirt, the light placement over the breakfast bar was completely off center, and had to be redone. My husband, who has no building experience, brought it to their attention, and had to be redone or centered, the garage was left unfinished, making this nice home look cheap, We lived away while the house was being built, but thanks to certain people who suggested we should come look, the bad 2x4s may have been covered, and we might have never found out till the house would settle in a bad way. We had to address these issues, and though they should have not been from the start, most of the items were fixed, and according to the superintendent all will be addressed after our move in. Now, their mortgage company led us to believe all was ok for 11 months, but a month and a few days before the closing, they called and said we couldn't qualify because of certain self employment rules, and covid. They had most of our paperwork from 11 months prior to closing, and as they requested additional along the way we furnished what they needed, some of which was several times. I am sorry we have to sound like unhappy buyers, but we have bought several homes throughout our lives, and never had to go thru this. The home buying/building process was easy. It does take a long time and expect delays. Make sure you note any issues with the home as early on as possible but don't expect it to be fixed quickly. I'm still waiting 7 weeks after move in for issues noted during construction.

We had a nice experience through the purchase program. Sales man was amazing and very helpful through the whole process. Construction wasn't what we were expecting. A lot of paint stains all over the house. Lots of dents and scratches on doors and trims. Issues with the pave that hasn't been resolved yet. It's been almost two months since we got into the house and most of the issues we pointed on the closing have not been solved.

I’m extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The closing was a nightmare and now I’ve been in the house for seven weeks and still have many issues with the house that have not been resolved.

I did all my upgrades with Pulte design center and everything that I upgraded was put in incorrect or damaged still waiting months to get items fixed..

Let’s just say that there were/are multiple issues

The craftsmanship and work on the home truly is poor.. We closed when the house was not 100% finished and they did nothing about it. Day after we closed and tried to move in, had 5 people in our home who just let themselves in. Been in the house over a month and work still isn't finished, lights falling from the ceilings, cracks in walls everywhere, bathrooms are an absolute mess, just terrible.

I was a new home buyer and i was very much curious to know each and everything. I used to visit the site every other day. It was a good experience. The sales office helped a lots to understand each and everything. The design center experience was not good at all. I wanted to modify some of the upgrades and the person will not let me do.
