Please thoroughly review the design diagram, specifications, and dimensions of everything in your home. It will be a large document, but it's important to take the time to go through it carefully. Here are a few issues I personally encountered that you might want to watch out for: No electrical outlet in the gathering room for a TV – this was missed in my case. this is the worst builder I ever bought from!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. They have been dishonest and difficult throughout the entire process. We’ve had several issues arising from overall poor workmanship and negligence on part of their subcontractors which they refuse to take responsibility for. They nickel and dimed us for several upgrades, but bait and switched us and subbed out for things that were cheaper than what we had paid for. They have been dishonest and the quality of their homes cannot be justified by their price. I would not recommend at all.

While the final product looks nice on the surface, my overall experience building with Pulte was frustrating and disappointing. From the beginning, key design elements were either poorly explained or not presented at all — including options like stair trim, siding choices with certain layouts not available and a natural gas line out back. Less than two months since we moved in, there are numerous issues that need to be addressed. The workmanship and materials used are of poor quality. Additionally, the communication regarding the completion of exterior items is extremely poor. We had to follow up multiple times to obtain a timeline for their completion. Overall we are not happy with the purchase and value for the price paid.

The lack of quality control and the incompetence of Pulte homes contractors is beyond frustrating. Ten drywall holes were left to fix various issues ( water pipes , cabinets and more) after closing, and the response time for repairs is horrendous. During the final inspections of the house, be careful not to be touched by Isaac De Pulte in Tohoqua. He is an irresponsible person who promises to fix every detail in your house and does nothing. Be careful, Pulte. He should see these reviews and take action first. He is the customer.

Do not go with Pulte Mortgage even if they are offering incentives. Their rates are way high compared to other sources. In addition, the sales consultant at our community is the really bad with communication. He kept us waiting without confirming accurate details that led to delay in closing and costing us with late fees. Its a good community but the experience with Pulte hasn't been great!

It is impossible to get a response whether it is via the portal, in the office or the 1800 number. The friendly service received during the sales process (although not always efficient) leaves a lot to be desired once the keys are handed over. We have not moved in, 60 days after signing, and there are multiple issues that Pulte is leaving unresolved. Completely frustrated. Highly recommend to plan ample time between inspection, items getting addressed and final signature. I was promised by Dana that Pulte wanted my home perfect that’s why it took so long to finish. Let me tell you my house is far from perfect! On my final walk through with Brian and Dustin I, my son and granddaughter pointed out all the flaws and marked them with painters tape. They took no notes and kept nodding at the mistakes. Very cheap building quality, quick fix repairs, and a company that prides themselves on quality. Their advertised quality and the Pulte care experience was false. They care about covering up their mistakes quickly and quietly, they care about not taking accountability for major defects, and they also don’t care about using the homeowners time to conduct shotty repairs.

The sales office needs a new rep, Craig’s lack of knowledge in real estate is only surpassed by his lack of professionalism. Brian, site manager, could care less about getting “punch list” things taken care of - basically if the structure hasn’t fully collapsed, you’re not getting much attention.
