It was my first buying experience and things seemed great. I didn't know any better. First I would say that the choices for selections was limited and anything outside of the dull plain choices was very expensive. I am a colorful person and the wall choices for paint was 3 or 4 versions of the same color. If I wanted something else it was ridiculously expensive. $950 for under cabinet lighting is absurd. While going through the building process or project manager kept saying after closing if you have any issues let me know and they will be taken care of. After closing he doesn't respond to texts. I had a dented vent hood. Supposedly it was ordered but that was over a month ago and no communication. There were other issues/questions and still no response. While it was nice there was landscaping done it was nothing that I would have chosen. A choice of A or B on plants would be nice. I had to give away all of it. What a waste of time and money. ... Its been 6 weeks since we closed and no action has been taken on the list of repairs we submitted.

This house was built during the COVID-19 pandemic and we were pleased that there weren’t many delays. There was however a lack of communication between us the customer and the builder.

It was an easy and great experience!

I have a bad experience. The house has some issues with doors and the cover plate of the washer & drier and the theater room is wrongly designed and now I can not install an screen and projector and now the project manager doesnt response my calls

I love my home, HATE my back yard. It is the worse job of laying sod I have ever seen. The sod was half dead when it was layed and already infested with dollar week. The grading seems to be off b/c every time it rains more soil washes out from under the sod causing ruts to form that you can't see but you can practically twist an ankel in if not careful.

With Pulte you get a mixed bag. Overall the people we’ve worked with directly were conscientious and well intentioned and responsive to our questions and requests. The finish workmanship detail has been very poor, especially with regard to painting (front door entry, spiral staircase, front exterior) and front brick work. Very sloppy on detail. I’m thinking, “I just paid what I paid and this is what I got?”. Uggghhh! I heard about Pulte Build Quality, but I guess it didn’t include these things. It’s not like anyone from Pulte has come to me and said, “we agree this is sloppy and we can do better. we’re going to make this right”. Meeting with Pulte was always a good expererience. In my experience as a customer service agent, setting proper expectation and responding to even the simplest of questions with eagerness is the best way to stand out. Bill and Nicholas were always giving good information about more than just the quality of work but also how to care for this asset going forward. I talked with them early and late. They always responded promptly.

Easy builder to work with, everything was great!

They told me issues were going to be addressed before home purchase and that did not happen, up to today issues have not been completed.

I quite literally cant say enough positive things about this builder, especially Steven Trapp (the Foreman responsible for this area). Any issues at all are always immediately addressed, even things I didnt notice! I feel like the builder actually *cares*, and it wasnt just about getting to closing. We closed on this home about 2 months ago now, and I still feel like we are getting the attention and care as you would offer a prospective new buyer. Its amazing, and Steven Trapp is the biggest part of that.

We built with Pulte following a mostly positive experience building our last house with them, as I valued their warranty and transparency about the building process. This time around I was even more impressed. I found this experience even more positive this time around. Mike was very helpful and kept of informed about lot availability and, early on in the building process, the timeline. We had an awesome experience with Holly during the purchase of our last house in Ave, which is why we ended up building our second home with Pulte, and Mike continued to exceed our high expectations. What clearly distinguished this process from our last was the work of Oscar, who was a cut above our last contractor. His communication, transparency, and dedication throughout the building process cannot be praised enough. He always kept us informed, patiently and continually responded to an array of stupid questions, and went beyond what we expected in order to guarantee that we would love the house. Cheap Homes, never buy from Pulte

The best thing about building with Pulte was working with Mike McGraw, Michael Zaski and Marissa Haley. Any time an issue would come up they would get it resolved fast. They always made themselves available to address any concerns we had with the building process. Because of that we would build again with Pulte. Both Mikes and Marissa knew what they were doing and they went above and beyond to make our home buying/building easier.

The quality of work and delivered to us as homeowners, completely underwhelmed us and for the price you pay for this property we really felt taken advantage off! I would not recommend.....

Pulte has beautiful floor plans that are well thought through to meet the practical needs of every customer. They also have nice exterior elevation options for each home model. As a first time home buyer, I did not do a good job of planning my structural options since it needs to be locked in within 24 hours, I would have appreciated some leniency from Pulte in that regard. However, nothing major to complain. When it came to getting a good deal, it totally depends on how interested you are in the first meet, some room for bargaining is definitely possible (especially on the lot premium). Pulte did have a good selection of interior material, the best part is they used quality products from reputed brands for every single item. Since they are extremely quick (considering they are a high volume production builder), the area they lack is quality of workmanship. As a customer, I had to follow up constantly to ensure the work was done the right way. I would appreciate more internal quality control from Pulte. Lastly, Pulte mortgage is extremely aggressive to gain your business. I was a bit disappointed with my experience with them at the time of rate lock, they simply would not give you the best deal unless you gave them a valid loan estimate from a competitor. I understand it is business, but I would have appreciated if the was process for more straightforward. Otherwise, Pulte mortgage was extremely efficient to help me close my house on time. ... More

Overall good experience. Good: My salesman Brad (while still my salesman) and the field manager Steve. Steve was always accommodating and a source of knowledge. Not so Good: Purchased during pandemic and could not go to design center personally to see samples. Had to seek that out on my own to the best of my abilities. That part of the buying process, in my opinion was unfair. I was sold a home with a mask on but couldn’t get the same when time to design my first home?
