If what you are looking for is quality work with a builder who is proactive in satisfactorily remedying workmanship issues then this isn't the builder for you. The home overall is in good condition however the subcontractors used by the builder were primarily people who could fog a mirror not specializing in their specific craft and the quality of the work speaks for itself. The builder's idea of remedying the workmanship is far from what you would expect for a new home or from a builder of this magnitude. We have been in the house for over a month now. We had a list of issues from our walk through that weren’t fix before we moved in and additional issues we have found since moving in. There were covers left off of electrical outlets, broken freezer shelf, leaking shower in the master, and vent hood in the kitchen that was installed wrong. These are big issues , not just paint touch ups and we still have had no word on when any of it will be fixed. I had a bad experience around closing time as there seemed like there was no coordination or communication between the involved stakeholders. Closing got delayed and since i was moving from out of state that made my experience even worse overall.

It’s wonderful to be in a brand new home. Unfortunately, that gets ruined when you spend the first couple months constantly finding all of the poor workmanship that wasn’t caught during your brief final inspections. Walls out of square, sloppy craftsmanship all over the place, broken doors, drawers, and cabinets. Very slow response to get anything taken care of. If you’re thinking of building a new home in the Indianapolis area, go with anyone other than Pulte. You’ll be happy you did.

The joy of moving into our brand new "dream home" was short lived as we walked in to find pieces of insulation on the cooktop, dirty sinks and tub, dirty cabinets and windows. There was paint everywhere...on virtually every floor, outlet covers, towel bars, light sconces, etc. Caulking left a lot to be desired as well. Several doors rattle when closed and 1 door misses the strike plate entirely. The master bathroom plumbing backed up within the 1st couple of days (there was a spray paint cap in the drain line somewhere between the master bath and the clean-out). I am very disappointed that I haven't received any assistance after my first survey was completed. There are many things that were never completed for my home. No one has reached back out to me. The person who is the customer care rep, is non responsive. I definitely don't feel like a valued customer. I'm not satisfied with the discrepancies of my brand new home.

We love our home & the actual building process was great. We had a great sales rep & field manager that were professional, informed, and super helpful throughout. Now that we've been in our home a little over a month, we've reported minor things that need fixed on several occasions and haven't been able to get much of a response. We notified our field manager, customer care coordinator, filed claims online and have still not gotten anything resolved & barely a response back. I know the market is crazy right now & tons of homes are being built so they're very busy, but I'm honestly shocked ...

I'd say Pulte is good but not great. It's like eating fast food. Some of it might taste good, but it's far from eating at a nice restaurant. It's just a matter of how many hairs you find in your food.

Love the plan and the neighborhood, but beware - they were not great on correcting issues. We’ve built multiple times but this is the first time we’ve ever had a builder admit that something was constructed incorrectly and then ask us if we would rather correct it ourselves. About half of the issues they just never fixed, and getting an escalation contact was next to impossible.

One man cannot take care of the requests at this complex along with 2 or 3 of your other condo complexes. It’s not humanly possible. The main concern of Pulte is build, sell and make money. You have no interest in all the people who have already bought a place. There are a lot of really nice people living here. Many are very disappointed in Pulte. When you call or email you are immediately told to go online to take care of your request. There is no personalization. They are all robots. I’m sad to write this review, because the actual home buying experience with Pulte was amazing. But now that I’ve been in my home for 2 months, I’m noticing so many issues. Cracked tiles, missing/poorly done grout work, crooked windows, broken windows, holes emerging in my yard and I’m still trying to get the thousands of paint droplets off my hardwood flooring. This is my second new build and we never experienced this level of poor workmanship in our prior home. So utterly disappointing.
