Model house are way updated. That's far on what will you get.

They were wonderful when they were trying to earn our business, but once we signed the paperwork they just didn't seem to care about our satisfaction. The issues started immediately after we signed the contract when we found out that our home was going to be a different orientation than we were told when we decided to purchase the property. While this may not bother most people, changing the placement of the garage meant that the mountain views we paid a premium for would be obscured by half the house, and the living and dining room windows would be facing the neighbor's house instead. This was very frustrating, and we couldn't get a straight answer from Pulte about why they made the change until after they broke ground on our home. Eventually they said that their records were wrong in the computer for some reason. Later on, we learned our house was in the flood zone, but when we purchased the property we were told it was NOT in the flood zone. This felt manipulative, and now we are stuck paying for flood insurance that we didn't budget for. As we neared completion of the home and had already received the final closing date from the title company and made plans to move out of our existing home, we were notified by Pulte that our home wouldn't be completed on time and that they were going to need to push our closing date back by ten days. At this point, we were supposed to close in a week and a half, and now they wanted us to close in almost three weeks instead. We then had to speak to the buyers of our exit property about allowing us to stay in the home a little longer, and thankfully they agreed although they asked us to make some additional repairs - again, something we had not budgeted for. Then, about a week before the second closing date, we were notified by Pulte AGAIN that the house wouldn't be completed on time, and that they needed to push the closing date back again by another week. So, once again we asked our buyers if we could stay in the house an additional week, and they agreed but we had to decrease the price. Had we not been trying to move in the middle of the pandemic, we would have just stayed in a hotel for that week, however we have a toddler, a dog, and a cat and we knew it would be an easier transition for our toddler if we stayed in our exit home longer. So, we took another hit on our finances by agreeing to decrease the price on our exit property so we could stay there until our new home was ready. The morning we closed on the new home, the roof still wasn't done, the carpet wasn't fully installed in one of the rooms, and the doors to one of the bedrooms still didn't have a handle. Considering our closing date was pushed back twice because they were behind on getting the stucco installed, I figured the interior would at least be completely finished, but it was not. Over the next few days, tradesmen were coming in and out of our house (again, in the middle of a pandemic) to finish the things they were supposed to finish before closing. Even now, two months after moving into our new home, the doors haven't been fixed, the stucco is still not completely done, and there are issues with the grading on the exterior of the home. My husband and I have started referring to it as our "lemon house." The exterior windows are also dirty with stucco and paint splattered on them from the construction since they haven't sent a cleaning crew out to take care of them yet, so every time we look outside to see our views we also see the mess from the construction - a mess we were told would be cleaned up prior to our move-in. Through it all, our project manager acted as if he were our savior by letting us move in to the house when we did - three and a half weeks after our initial closing date. Now, as I walk through the neighborhood and see the other homes nearing completion with their sparkling clean windows, finished stucco, and impeccable grading, I can't help but feel slighted by Pulte, a company that does not care about their customers once they've received their money. Considering our home cost almost half a million dollars, I certainly expected the quality to be much higher than it is, and I expected to be treated like a valued customer instead of like an afterthought and an annoyance. ... We are very happy with our home

I am very happy with all things involved

The builders have been so responsive with everything we have inquired about. Matt, Jason, Mario and Bill have been great to work with during this whole process. We have had some hiccups with our garage but everyone has been great in helping us get it fixed. It's been a pleasure with working with everyone!

Biggest disappointment was in the very shoddy workmanship, with painting of doors. There are dried paint runs and finger prints on the doors. It was brought up but they never addressed it, pretty muy new us off. Garage floor lines are crooked or not square and cracked floor. Molding already coming off the walls in less than six weeks. Address plate was poorly painted as well, was supposed to be fixed and they never did. Overall very disappointed in the quality, especially when you pay as much as we did got this home. I DON’T recommend PULTE homes.

Jake was great to work. He was very responsive, answered all our questions and kept everything organized and on track. Our overall experience was great. There were several limiting options that resulted in a lot of extra work for us after we moved in, but that is what we signed up for. Unfortunately we didnt learn about many of these things until the design meeting which is after we already made commitments. The model home was quite deceiving as most of the options we wanted from the model home were simply not available which was very disappointing.

We are First time builders and we felt like we were listened to and even though I consider this more of a “cookie cutter” home as these homes are made by the hundreds, details were never dismissed. Quality control was very good and overall it has been a great experience. We would recommend building with Pulte

We couldn't be happier with our new home. Of course we hit a few bumps along the way, but the Pulte team has been super responsive and worked with us to get everything squared away. The floor plans are open and inviting. The build process was pretty much on schedule - with a minor delay (but that's typical of a new build). Since we've moved in, responses to our warranty service requests have been prompt. Highly recommend a Pulte home!

Build process was good, however several items were installed wrong by tile company and painters had a lot of paint overspray on items throughout house. Had to have Pulte replace all the carpets after we closed because of paint overspray on carpets. Have several other small issues but are currently 7 weeks after closing and cant get anyone to come to repair them.

Both Contruction foreman’s were great, we started with Chris, then he goes of and gets married and gets the COVID-19. Can you believe that guys! Lol But Steve stepped in and was absolutely great.

overall was a good 3xperience, had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to postpone my closing due to contingency home contract fall apart, also the workmanship is not as good as other builders at least on the finishes and some structural, responsiveness to the issues I have is not good, still have issues and warranty request was put over a month now and nothing done

I am good in general with Pulte and there are a few things you need to keep in mind below. Check if a new home is thoroughly cleaned or not at closing. There were lots of painting debris and dusts on the window frames. It is really hard to remove them. Check if there are paint drops on carpet before closing. It looks like walls and ceilings are painted after installing carpet. Several paint drops that are not covered by warranty were found on a new carpet, which makes me dissatisfied with the home.

We were so excited to buy a home through pulte. The price was high but the location and space was well worth it. Everything was great until they began to change things about 2 months before our initial closing date. We got a new build manager, communication stopped and build quality went down. They moved our closing multiple times and when they gave us a final date they changed it again a week before we got our keys... we had to scramble to switch time off and let our rental company know that we would need more time after already giving our 30 day notice. On the new move in day, our house wasn’t done. We had no gate or side wall, no landscape was done, the backyard was full of broken bottles nails and other junk and all of our doors were left open. The last part was really not ok we had all of our new appliances installed and then all the doors just left open with no one on the property. When we started to move our things in people started to roam our property with out introducing themselves. We had a carpet cleaner just waltz in before realizing the house was occupied, not his fault because no one told him people were moving in on their move in date. We needed the cleaners though because workers had walked all over our carpets after a rainstorm and our carpets were covered in mud. We had to have workers come finish the front yard, finish staining and even put our mantle up and ceiling fan still in. Now almost 2 months after close we are still missing concrete under our back sliding door so our door is literally free hanging with nothing underneath, we have cabinets that don’t close all the way, we’re missing metal work details on the outside of the home, paint is splattered all over the cabinets, there’s defects in the walls including a 3 foot long space where they had to move electrical components that wasn’t textured, our outlets constantly trip and don’t work, and my personal favorite there is debris under all the carpet upstairs so you can feel the bolts and wood scrapes when you walk around, this doesn’t even include how you can feel every piece of plywood under the “carpet padding” including places where it’s been filled because of wrongly placed holes or where the plywood has warped. They said we have to contact warranty now and we are in the process of doing so but it’s hard to understand why we have to contact warranty for things that we’re never actually done, like these are things missing or not done right. I feel like they rushed in the end and to be honest it doesn’t reflect or even compare to the craftsmanship seen in the model home. Every single person we talk to is amazing and kind and helpful but the upper management on these sites rushed workers. We paid just shy of 400k and our house is riddled with issues that we will probably be fighting to be fixed for months to come. The most severe of which are the missing concrete and stucco job that is uneven and in some places completely missing. They just came last week to finally clean all the spray foam off the windows and remove junk from the backyard so now I can finally let my dog out to play with out worrying about huge nails and broken glass. So that’s a plus I suppose It’s just a let down because we worked so hard for this home and we came almost everyday to dream and imagine about how our hard work is paying off. This was not the dream. It’s just a mess right now. So all in all great homes but you better micromanage and make sure to not give any notice if your moving from a rental until EVERY DETAIL IS FIXED. We would have liked to see the homeowner(us) be able to do more customization... Whenever we asked about adding or changing something.(and we were willing to pay for it ) .. sorry this is the plan. Pulte needs to be more flexible

The sales department seemed as though you (the customer) were bothering them when you were trying to review and purchase the home. It was like they did not want to sell you the home. However, once I purchased the home, the General Contractor Manager and the Customer Service Manager were extremely helpful, and responsive.

Pulte bites off more than they can chew, meaning they don’t have the time to dedicate to their customers. We’ve had multiple issues and reached out to pulte representatives, only to receive a generic response of “your concerns have been noted and will be addressed in the order they were received.” Very disheartened by the whole process.

Compared to other builders around the area Pulte homes have outstanding quality on materials and the way the house is built you can see the quality since they are laying down the foundation

Worst experience after paying almost 1.7M! We still have not gotten the items fixed from our walk thru on October 26. Next home will definitely not be a Pulte!
