Moved into a beautiful new home thinking all would be perfect, now after 4-8 weeks nothing but issues from carpet coming up in the corners seams splitting, horrible wall texturing, corners not even close to being somewhat square, holes in drywall counter tops having to be replaced due to not installed correctly, hole under kitchen island with rebar coming through it. I’m not happy with this home. Thought it would be a amazing thing being a home owner but nothing but headaches. On the plus side was the builder lender they where the only professionals in my book. The home Quility is trash

After submitting an offer that was excepted, a deposit was made, and a very important item that was agreed upon was taken away. It’s tough and I could forfeit my deposit I was told I would not get the item after three weeks into this and there was nothing they could do about it. Disappointed in some of the bathroom fixtures, about as cheap as they could get. Frustrated that homes that have not closed have their cement sidewalks and driveways in and we have been hear over a month and still do not have our cement. Still are not graded either so we cannot plant grass. When painters came in to fix items they rushed and did not do a quality job. Front door repair looked like a 6th grader did the work. other homes being built in subdivision, so nails and screws all over the street and no-one ever cleans them up except me. Important information about the things NOT included in these homes was not addressed by seller or realtor, and novice buyer was ill-informed as well, about some issues, such as the fact that there were no gutters installed in these houses, that there would be problems with TV cable in this area and that the landscaping was improperly installed.

Our home buying experience was pleasant until we signed the papers. After that, our project manager continuously dropped the ball, warranty claims have gone unresolved, we were skipped multiple times for sod, and we were lied to. We paid a premium for our lot because we were told that nothing would ever be developed behind us, and before Pulte is even done building in the neighborhood, people are out behind our house to start putting in a bike path. We feel betrayed and scammed.

Pulte is not maintaining the quality anymore. They are just in a hurry to close no matter whether the house is complete or not. Once closing is done, you have to chase the builder or raise the tickets to fix the issues.

Good Morning, Honestly, unless there has been some structural changes in the way Pulte finishes a home before turning it over to the new owners, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend buying a Pulte home. On the day we closed, the home was filthy. Plus, we had tile issues, plumbing issues, trim and paint issues, cabinet issues and a bowed wall. We had workers in our home for weeks after moving in. Bathrooms had lot issues

We bought the big house (4360 soft ) in isles of lake Nona( more than $1 million .but after moving in we found lot of issues regarding bathrooms They missed towel rod, shower curtain rods, tissue holder, soap holder in all the bathrooms , lock handle inside one of the bathrooms to lock it inside , master bathroom door won’t close properly

Poor quality homes with nice layout

Home is poorly built. I’ve faced issues since the construction phase and warranty representatives are a joke. I’ve had toilets leaking, ducting gaps, cracks in the driveway among other issues. Even during the closing inspection they asked me to close with a malfunctioning water heater, poorly installed carpet, incomplete plumbing connections, tub overflows not working. My advice - look elsewhere and get everything inspected. Sales process was good, but was not presented with an accurate layout of the community property when signing. Not 100% clarity throughout but overall did not seem bad overall. Disappointed how many things were needed on the blue tape walk. Some repairs had to be done more than once. The thin layer of paint on the walls causes them to mark easily. Some finishing touch not applied. There is an essence of cheapness about the finish. Finding lots of little things post purchase that just spoiled the experience of buying a new home.

The mortgage process through Pulte was a nightmare we are relieved to have made it out of. The endless back and forth requests for the same documents and weeks at a time gaps of updates, left us feeling overwhelmed and like we had made the wrong decision.

The builder tries to be a one-stop-shop for all building/selling/financing/accomodation needs. There are some great additions and quality put into construction. Planning (especially electrical locations and accomodations) leave something to be required. The selling segment of the company was helpful initially but fell short when the company pushed to close on all units by 12/31/24 with less than 2 weeks notice. As a result work on punch lists were not (and still have not) been completed. Kudos to the escrow and mortgage people who performed at an A+ level. They were most helpful. Follow up ...

I have an issue with your responsiveness to issues. We have put multiple requests online to have someone come look at our garage door opener and not heard back. Nobody has called or returned emails. It’s poor form on your end and really is frustrating on a brand new home that we can’t even get a hold of someone.

We were expecting a more seamless and by far a less frustrated home buying process. From a delayed start of construction date to a delayed closing due to a lower appraisal, we have to rank this process lower than our previous purchase years ago with another seller.

A 2mil house should not have as many issues when going through the walk through. Everything from the walls, inside and outside of the house, requiring patch work, poor installation of cabinets, spotty paint job, dirty walls and carpets, etc.

There is no love for the customer from Pulte Homes. Currently, we do not have an oven that works. The elevator has been out of service 4 days-unsafe and certainly not fun when you are moving in and it is 95 degrees out. We closed two months ago! We shouldn't be paying HOA fees if services are not being administered. From day one, were told we don't negotiate, you get what you pay for. We relocated from Wisconsin; thrilled to move into a brand new home. However, we were hit with a sobering reality that a new home doesn’t mean that the builder put any care into the home. We moved into a home with broken cabinets, literal holes in the flooring, pealing paint, pools of water in the lanai, electrical sockets not properly installed, improperly installed doorbell, mismatched windows, parade of ants, cheap appliances, and a sheer lack of care for the build of this home! We are left heartbroken for selling out beautiful home in Wisconsin for THIS! Would not recommend Pulte!

Quality has always been my main concern owning a property. There has been uneven patch up padding on the carpet, bathrooms exhaust fans and air condition vents are loud. We were told that there is nothing that can be done “It is what it is.” I feel that it’s all about making a profit!!!
